Oddly very slow on the inside it was only us and like two other people for dinner on a Saturday night, BUT but had great service and food was pretty good, would recommend and would come back !

Ordered from the menu...sliders and fries. Everything was delivered fresh, hot and tasty. My server, Ariana, was helpful, friendly and prompt; I recommend you ask for her station. Very happy with this quick lunch while in the area!

This place is awesome very good price in the morning from 6-8 only $6.99 i have the best breakfast ever

Shoney's has been around for a very long time, and there's a reason for that. They have great food, fresh and the buffet is always manned by one or two staff making sure that nothing runs out and it stays clean. A very hometown feel to the restaurant, you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Prices are reasonable and all staff continue to wear masks.

Because so many have closed down in recent years, its been a while since I've been to a Shoneys. The Italian feast was just as good as I remembered, as was the hot fudge ice cream cake. I didnt get the breakfast bar but the food looked tasty. My only concern was that the restaurant could use some remodeling. The seats were noticeably worn. Otherwise, it was a terrific dining experience.

We absolutely love Shoneys and because they are far and few in between we try to stop and eat when we see one and are able to. So we come across this one on our way home from our vacation destination for breakfast. As usual the food was amazing. Our waitress was so sweet and welcoming, she took care of us and I wish so badly I could remember her name, but we was super satisfied and enjoyed our visit and left with full tummies!

They have been a really wonderful breakfast spot my whole life and it will be sad to see them go. I remember always getting the brownies with ice cream too. It will be missed.

OMG at the Buffet here. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and the seafood and steak Buffet on the weekends,,,,, PERFECT and so delicious every time. It can't be beat,,,,,well,,,,, Caption George's Seafood Buffet of course but to follow second to just them, pretty dang good. The prices are affordable and the staff are so friendly and attentive. It's kept clean and the Buffet is kept nice and the food fresh at all times. Love it!!

Got seated fairly quick even though they were very busy. The food on the buffet was fresh and hot. Service was very good.

Tables set up for Covid-19 dining. They serve food to you to minimize exposure. Food quality good. Had breakfast about 1 before buffet was switching over. Server did great checking on our table. Patrons wore masks except to eat.

Great service and perfect buffet and food. We were in the middle of the Sunday Brunch/Lunch Rush and they handled the crowd effortlessly. Table was cleaned quickly and immediately so we could sit down.

Really great service!! Manager and waitress was very helpful and took their time to find out what seasonings were on the foods so i wouldnt have an allergic reaction.

Haven't been to one in over 10 years I'm sure...stopped by this one..great food with great service. Had the lunch buffet.
In such a fast paced, grab and go society, it felt too good to come down south and get some franchise home cooking.

Although some have complained about this location, my experience was very good. To whomever the cooks are, the seasoning of the food was absolutely excellent. For example, the green beans tasted like my mother made them. None of the food was bland and tasteless.

Awesome food bar, nice and clean restaurant. Seats are out of date. Waitress was either new or experiencing a nightmare. Clueless on menu items and what we ordered. Seafood night is one of the best!! Try the hand battered oysters.

Great Food! Great Service! I would definitely come back! During the evening, the staff were consistently refilling all of the food stations. Hot and cold food were prepared well!

Went with a group of friends after a movie in Hopewell, VA. It was 6 of us and we all ordered different things and all enjoyed our meals. I got the Hamburger, bowl of yummy chicken vegetable soup and it tasted Homemade( I could of just eaten that it was so Delicious along with a second bowl if only thing I had ordered), and a bowl of fresh fruit, very fresh and good as well. Had Decafe coffee which she made a fresh pot for me. Enjoyed my meal and will be going back I promise in hopes for more and f that soup!!! Yes!!

Forever my favorite breakfast spot. So many memories were made in shoneys. This is the closest one to me now that so many have closed. Was sad to hear this one will be closing in December.
