Penny's Diner

I wish I could give the food 6 stars. Honestly some of the best food I've had in months. Gives a real 50s diner feel. Do yourself a favor if you are in the area and stop in. It's worth it.

We absolutely loved this place. It was midnight when we got there. Our burgers were cooked to perfection and these were the best onion rings I've ever had. I bought 2 T-shirts cuz they were so cute. Otherwise it is reasonably priced.

Awesome roadside diner next to Travelodge Motel. Great service, quickly made, reasonable prices. The waitress and cook ... good people !

Great stop for a road trip! Quick and fun, excellent diner food, fresh and good quality. Delicious fresh burger with toasted bun and fresh tomato, perfect pancakes. Warm, friendly service. Traditional diner decor, but clean! Perfect!

I love Penny's Diner! They have great food at a reasonable price.

We've been here twice now and I've enjoyed it both times. It's really clean and the gentleman working have always been helpful and kind. The onion rings are fantastic and the club sandwich was exactly what I wanted. We'll definitely be back.

Delicious and a great place to stop. Thoroughly impressed by how clean and orderly everything was. Staff was super friendly, food was cooked on the spot and absolutely tasty.

5 stars might be excessive but I felt the over all experience was really good. We stayed at the Travel Lodge next door so it was an easy option. We ate 4 meals there during our 3 day stay. Breakfast good and consistent. Dinners were all good as well, no complaints. The line chefs holding it down were doing a great job! Our servers were also very good and on top of it. We had a baby with us and they were great about getting her something before us to keep her happy. Nice place!!

Stopped here on a whim while we were traveling this weekend. Great place to stop. Food is good and service was great. Anthony was our server/cook and he was wonderful. Looking forward to stopping here again in the future.

Very good food to eat. Nice staff. It's a 10 minute walk from the Loves truck stop. Its worth the walk instead of eating roller dogs at loves. Plus, they are open 24 hrs.

Very nice place and friendly staff. Nice to see a guy as a server and not just stuck in the back as a cook. He was helpful and knew alot about the menu and serving sizes. He made good recommendations. I got the meatloaf which was very good. A little undercooked but not enough to make it any less enjoyable. My girlfriend had the crab cakes and she loved them as well. Would definitely recommend this place to others

Penny’s is awesome. For early morning or late night, the staff are very friendly and the food is great diner food. Open 24 hours, can’t beat that! Right next to the Travelodge for your hotel needs.

This little dinner is a jewel. The food was amazing and the service was great. I had the Big Ranch Breakfast that consisted of country fried steak and gravy, hash browns, 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and toast, with a side of sausage. Every bite was exploding with flavor. Kudos kudos kudos! My husband and I will definitely be back next time we visit.

We stop there every year. Beautiful area. Great diner. Hotel perfect . See you next time we pass through.

Awesome place to stop for breakfast if you are driving through town. Interesting environment—much spacier and cozier than it appears from the outside. Wait staff were top notch and food was a GREAT bang for the buck. Beats out Waffle House or IHOP by a long shot. It’s a small town and this is definitely a staple :)
