Holiday Inn Arlington at Ballston, an IHG Hotel

Whoever is in charge of raises should most definitely consider giving Ms. Mimi at the front desk one. She was the most joy-filled lady I could have gotten to come into contact with when I first arrived, was SO accommodating, and made my stay the happiest experience. I would come back just to be greeted by somebody so well! Thank you Mimi!

Excellent service, good bar and breakfast food. Ballroom holds about 150.
Hotel rooms are dated, but pleasant.
Location only four blocks to the Ballston Metro station and directly off the western direction ramp of I-66.

Our room was cleaned although I did clean the bathroom/ shower and floor it wasn't bad at all. Would I stay there again absolutely.

Great location, 10 minutes from Arlington cemetery, easily accessible from I-66, has a restaurant w/ set hours, plenty of places within walking distance to dine.!

I had a very nice experience during my two day stay. The location is in a fantastic place. The hotel itself is a bit dated as it has been around for almost 50 years! However, front desk staff Mimi had such a great disposition and was absolutely accommodating with everything. Salute to her 🫡 and my stay. I will be back!

What a great place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Not sure the photos do it justice. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for staying in the Ballston area if the object is visiting DC or just staying in the Arlington area. We stayed there since my spouse was having early morning surgery nearby. We recommend it.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the rooms were very clean and comfy.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Shower ceiling had a foot size gap/opening and the tub is outdated but the staff were very friendly. Yenni at the lounge/breakfast was very courteous and kind. I would stay again because the location and the staff were great!

Our first time staying at this location. Clean and comfortable spacious room. Perfect location for us, early morning surgery nearby. The staff were great and super helpful. I would recommend it if staying in the area.

We had a flight cancellation at Reagan and found this hotel on Expedia and got a great price and had a great stay! It is dated but is clean, spacious, staff very courteous and friendly. We had drinks and dinner and breakfast.

Kristi at the front desk is an excellent person and agent. She is always happy whenever whatever we asked. She seems into her job. She deserves a raise.

The room and infrastructure are old. Breaksfast is not included. You can request for a microwave, toothpaste, toothbrush, shave cream, shaver. Room cleaning service is on request only.

This was a great family vacation. The hotel was moderately clean, I did find some random garbage in my room down by the beds. However, the service was fantastic, especially the woman working the front desk the morning of 4/14 and 4/15/22. Breakfast was amazing we did get breakfast vouchers with our room when booking. I would absolutely stay here again, anytime.

Clean and quiet hotel which is within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Room was lovely and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and we especially loved the sheets. Parking area was secure and most spots were close to the rear door. My only complaint was if you were entering from the opposite side of the street when driving it was difficult to get across traffic. Other than that I would definitely recommend.

We were here this past weekend for a Graduation. Everything was great. Accommodations for about 10 rooms being all together, breakfast delicious and so much of, and letting us have our own area after graduation party.

I just checked out of the hotel. I was only there 1 night and enjoyed the area. Plenty of food options and so much history all within a 30 minute drive. The woman that I checked out with was very nice. She exuded the professionalism and kindness I hope to see on my travels.

We had a room with 2 queen beds. Beds were very comfortable. Each bed had 4 very comfortable pillows. Air conditioner was very good. This hotel has a pool with life guard and a small gym. This hotel is a 7 min walk to Ballston Metro stop. In the back of the hotel is a running/walking trail that goes to a McDonalds and a Safeway food store (about a 5 min walk). I would stay at this hotel again.

Great area to stay in parking fees very reasonable only 16 dollars a day. Service very good in the restaurant where they serve breakfast and dinner for a fee. The first room I got the refrigerator was not working and the television had terrible reception. I complained to the front desk and was immediately giving another room which was outstanding. The food in the restaurant was outstanding 👌 also. The rooms are very large. A very nice Holiday Inn.

Staff was incredibly kind and attentive. David in particular was one of the best hotel staff employees I've ever met. The others whose names I'm forgetting were also super helpful.

Walking distance to Metro and many restaurants and bars. Felt pretty safe walking around at night. Stayed for a visit to George Mason University School of Law.

Note that breakfast isn't included, but they have free WiFi internet and free printing if you need to do some light printing for business. There is no pool, which I think may have been advertised at one point. The fitness center was small (what hotel gym isn't?) but gets the job done.
