Hampton Inn & Suites Woodstock

I entered the hotel and Andrew welcomed me with a smile. Without asking he gave me a room away from the elevator and highway noise. The next morning I asked Sara for a late checkout and she happily allowed us to stay until 1:00. The breakfast and coffee were hot and delicious. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. I received excellent customer service and I would stay here again.

This was a very nice visit. I stayed here because they permitted my dog to stay. It cost $50.00 for the dog.

The room did not smell like dog. There were no fleas or anything to complain about the room because of pets being able to stay.

I did not participate in the free breakfast, but it smelled good.

The one staff member I dealt with was pleasant and very nice.

I would stay here again.

The room is large and well-appointed. The bathroom is very large. Everything appears clean. The only negatives are (1) the wall thermostat does not work - the controls are on the A/C unit, and the cover is broken; (2) the closet door is missing - I might not have noticed, but the hinges and latch are still there, and there is an outline of dirt where the door used to be; and (3) the bathtub shelf was broken off. Really, it was a good room. The toilet didn't run, the heat wasn't noisy, and the room was quiet. The lobby was nice, with a double-sided fireplace. Kind of cozy.

Always a great experience and feeling at home away from home. Not a problem for the staff but the Interstate side of the hotel can be noisy when trying to sleep but they do provide complimentary ear plugs.

Convenient location to Massanutten Tower and Resort/scenic chairlift. The room was so spacious, and everyone was super friendly. The hot tub was perfect, but the indoor pool was cold. Breakfast was delicious, but I would suggest to the hotel to have Gluten-free options available. A sign states to ask about special options for dietary needs, but not sure what they offer as they didn't have anything GF, sadly! We stopped at a local grocery store for some GF bread so I could have that with the eggs. The waffles smelled amazing and they offered different flavors. I was told they were very tasty. The juice machine didn't work the first morning of our stay, but by the second morning, it was in operation. The beds were comfy, and the shower temp and pressure was very good. This hotel was conveniently located to major highways, and many fast food places and gas stations.

Very nice location with many services around. Been there 2 times in the last month and rarely seen such a nice service from the employees. Helpful and smiley and seem they love what they do. Big room and dog friendly. Very clean. Fair price. Need a little bit more maintenance care (a/c noisy, shower curtain too short to replace a glass door probably broken) would have give 4,5 for the room. But overall will stop there every time I need. Nice quick pit stop on our trip. The room was big and accommodating. Everything was nice and clean (except under the beds, but who usually looks under there anyway). The guy who checked us in was extremely nice and helpful. Wish he was working the front desk at the hotel I'm currently at. I really wish I had gotten his name to give him a proper shout-out.

What a great stay!! From the minute we get here we knew this was the right place to say. We got in late, and the front desk worker welcomed us with a smile. He was adding new coffee to the 24 hour coffee bar! Our room had a clean smell that hit us as we were walking in, the room was spacious and clean! The beds were more firm than soft and they were so comfortable I wish they would tell me the brand! Breakfast the next morning offered 2 types of waffle batter omelet, scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. They had bread, yogurt, cereal and juice. Of course there was coffee and tea. I love staying at Hampton Inn & Suites because you can always count on their quality!

The service deserves 6 stars. We had to call the hotel to handle our multi-room reservation, and the man on the phone was helpful and friendly. From delivering a crib to the room to an above average breakfast, this is an excellent hotel with great people. They even contacted us when they found our niece had left a few items behind.
Yes, the hotel is close to the highway, but the noise didn't bother us. One suggestion might be to request a room on the side of the hotel away from the road.
Also found a fine restaurant nearby, the Woodstock Brew House. Lots of room for kids to roam, and they even had a vegan option.
We'll use them again on our road trips through the valley.

My wife and I had a great stay at this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights. As we approached the hotel on Interstate I-81 we were pleased to see the hotel there right next to the highway. You only have to drive for a few minutes between the highway and the hotel. We wondered if we would have a highway-view room or a mountain view room. We entered our top floor room and checked the windows... highway view!!! We gleefully enjoyed 2 nights full of the sounds of 18 wheelers and other loud trucks. A previous guest or the hotel staff left an earplug set on the side table for us but we did not need them... love the peaceful sounds of the trucks. We counted 50 trucks going north and 60 trucks going south. We did not have to count for long as it is a busy highway. I can't leave 4.99 stars so I guess I will make it 5 - would be a real 5 if they trimmed the trees/ bushes that slightly obstructed our view of the highway I-81.

We’ve stayed at this Hampton Inn in Woodstock many times. It’s always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
It also has a very good gym and indoor pool.
They also have a free breakfast each morning. It’s free enough said.

Staff was friendly, room was clean & buffet breakfast was nice. No complaints.

Our stay was really nice. The hotel was very clean and the room was very spacious. The breakfast was really good. We felt like things were getting somewhat normal. All the employees were really nice and courteous. We felt welcomed and everyone really cared. Will definitely go back.

We always stay here when we visit my brother. Andrew at the front desk is always pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Appreciate that they are pet friendly and have lots of grassy areas for walking.

I took my grandchildren on a sightseeing adventure and stayed a night at this Hampton Inn and Suites. We stayed in a suite and loved the room. Check in from my phone was extremely easy, we didn’t even have to stop at the front desk , and the digital key was simple to use for the room and pool.
The breakfast kept us from having to go out to eat, saved us a lot of money. The selection was great and satisfied the grandchildren. If we are in the area again, this will definitely be the place we stay.

Great location. Nice rooms with clean bathroom. The breakfast options was good. Quite. perfect stay for leisure vacation.

Really enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. However, I would caution anyone staying here in a room that faces the highway, as it can get quite loud at night. Overall, a great hotel with just a minor issue to be aware of.

P.S - the fitness center is good too for a quick workout.

One of the best parts of my trip to Luray Caverns was this hotel. The staff was impeccable and the rooms were comfortable. The amenities were great and the food options around there and the Walmart were the icing on the cake.
