Hampton Inn Alexandria/Pentagon South

My 13 year old son & I stayed for 6 nights last week. Everything, including the staff, was outstanding! Facility had a new / modern feel to it. Our room was quiet & comfortable with comfy beds. Complimentary breakfast was much nicer than most hotels provide. Staff was friendly, helpful & easygoing. Housekeeping did an outstanding job keeping our room clean. Highly recommend! Please make sure to take care of your housekeeping, dining room staff etc. They work very hard & deserve to be tipped. We could tell how much they appreciate it!

This is one of the best places that I've have ever stayed in. From the time we arrived until checkout, the service did not disappoint me or my family. And it is only 10 minutes away from the Ronald Reagan Airport. Thank you all for making our second trip/vacation to DC a better experience. One thing to improve the stay is having the pool open.

Had a great time there. It was so nice to have little things like hot available coffee all day and even some cookies. Breakfast buffet was also available and absolutely no complaints here about the food. Everyone we encountered was helpful and nice. Will definitely stay there again.

This is the budget Hampton with the slight Hilton flair and we loved it. Spacious room with comfy bed and bathtub which they don’t all have. Free parking and good location made up for minor things that weren’t perfect. Highly recommend!

We were in town to visit Arlington National Cemetery and this hotel was close, so we gave it a try. It was a wonderful experience. The staff so nice, the rooms were well kept and the breakfast was yummy! I would highly recommend this hotel!

The service was amazing my daughter got sick Friday night and the staff was so caring and able to move our room and even checked on her next day. Location is perfect we were there for a concert and I loved how close we were to the wharf. Breakfast was good my daughter even ate it so that’s a plus she is picky haha 😂. Will definitely use the hotel again next time in town

Room is very nice for the price, staff friendly and helpful, cell phone room key took some time to load after check in but once loaded worked well. Breakfast is not fancy but nice variety and all tastes good. Hotel is conveniently located in driving distance of DC and walking distance of a handful of restaurants.

Yes, it's an older Hampton with small breakfast area, etc, but very well kept and updated rooms. The staff could not have been nicer, and this place is clearly well managed. A special shout-out to the mature woman staffing the desk (blonde longish hair, glasses, apologies for not catching your name) She was so very kind and helpful when we both took ill. That's a rare level of hospitality in a corporate hotel. Thank you.

Great location with easy access to anywhere in DC or Arlington Area. Morning breakfast service is free and if you stay multiple days is rotated daily. The staff are very polite and helpful. I left a specialty charger cord in my room which without would make my watch useless. I called the front desk and Carolina retrieved it from housekeeping and mailed it to my home for me which was above and beyond service!!!! I travel 50-60% of the month for work and the service at this property is equivalent to any upper level flag I have been to. Bonus tip- There is a Starbucks up the street at the Target if you need an outside coffee run.

Pretty nice place. Rooms were clean and nice. The hallways on the first floor need a lot of love, but everything else seemed great. Breakfast was busy but good. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great stay. The facilities are nice and super clean though a little dated. We enjoyed the breakfast and the beds were comfortable. The staff was really nice and incredibly accommodating. The location was perfect close to DC reasonably priced but without the extra traffic. I would stay there again.

The hotel and the room were very clean. The bed sheets were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing that I think could have been better is letting the customers know about any allergens in the complimentary breakfast. I asked a staff member about this and she wasn't sure so she got the manager for me which was great, however, I had to wait a while. I think it would be great if the ingredients and allergens were visible for customers to see. Other than that I think the hotel and staff were excellent. I appreciate that the breakfast dining area was available for customers after breakfast and it was kept very clean. I also I appreciate that complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available in the lobby area. I called saying that I would be late and someone was there to do my check-in when I arrived very late in the evening.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel. It’s close to everything. The hotel itself was clean & the staff was very hospitable. The breakfast was beyond my expectations, with a nice variety. I will definitely recommend this location.

Rooms clean. Personnel was awesome and very professional. Chocolate chip cookies delicious, a very sweet amenity. Loved it. I stayed 5 days.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. They accommodated our room request without question. The breakfast offered a nice variety. There were also plenty of outlets to plug in our electronics.

The two things that the hotel could improve upon is better lighting in general (it felt like there were only 40 watt bulbs in the lamps), but especially the bathroom as well as a fan in the bathroom.

Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was excellent! Staff & Manager very helpful whenever I had a request. Breakfast was not only good, but the staff did a great job cleaning & disinfecting throughout the entire breakfast hours.

Such nice, kinda, and respectful staff members with no exceptions. Everyone was very nice and welcoming! The room was very clean! There's a market, fast food, and resto at a walking distance from the hotel.
