Embassy Suites by Hilton Williamsburg

My stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Williamsburg was an absolute delight from start to finish. Over the course of three nights, I experienced a sense of warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire experience.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by the iconic painting of George Washington at The Surrender of Lord Cornwallis, spanning an entire wall. I couldn’t help but admire this breathtaking masterpiece and the historical significance it captured.

The room itself was impeccably clean, and it was evident that the bathroom had recently undergone a renovation, adding a touch of modern elegance to the space.

One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the buffet breakfast. With made-to-order omelets and a huge array of options, it was a delightful start to each day. I appreciated the extended breakfast hours on weekends extended until 10:30 AM. I must say, this was hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a Hilton hotel.

In the evenings, the hotel treated guests to a delightful reception with complimentary drinks, providing the perfect opportunity to unwind and socialize after a day of exploring Williamsburg.

The pool, while slightly cooler than I would have preferred, was nonetheless refreshing. Its size and beauty added to the overall ambiance of relaxation and comfort.

Above all, what truly set this Embassy Suites apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met with care and efficiency. Their warmth and dedication made a lasting impression and reaffirmed my decision to choose this hotel for future visits to Williamsburg. The unparalleled hospitality I experienced here truly made my stay unforgettable.

We very recently had a 4-night stay. Overall, one of the best Embassy Suite experiences that we have had, and we’ve stayed at many ES over the years. Remodeled hotel and room, clean and quiet. Early check-in and feather-free room was accomodated. Excellent service across the board, with an extra shout-out to the breakfast staff, who were nothing short of outstanding - friendly, professional and “cared” that we were there. Breakfast items were replaced as they were consumed, used plates, etc. were removed quickly, tables cleaned. We definitely recommend, and will stay there again when in Williamsburg. Thank you to the staff!

We had a quick 2 night stay, picking out son up from Fort Eustis to bring him home. At arrival, the evening attendant at the desk was great! We were just in time for the complementary reception and snacks. The two ladies working the bar were super friendly and very bubbly. It was a very busy bar as there was an anniversary party. Also going on. They managed everything perfectly! The morning breakfast was great! Not a single complaint. The evening reception that night was great! It was the Super Bowl, and the one bartender working was full of life and so friendly. The rooms were immaculately clean, and very comfortable. 10/10!

We enjoyed our stay here! Very welcoming Staff and clean place. I couldn't get enough out of their breakfast manu - Freshly cooked on-order omelettes, Grits, Oatmeal, Scrambled egss, Potatoes, suasages, Freshly cut fruits - lot of Bakery items to choose from. Their evening cocktail hours (2 free cocktails) is perfect to have chat / games with Loved ones along several dinner items available to buy in restaurant menu. Our room was spacious with bedroom separated from TV room. Bedroom also had a TV and nice window. This location is very close to Williamsburg colonial town tours and local restaurants. Definitely recoomend this place for your vacation.

We had a wonderful time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location to several restaurants, very close to Prime Outlets. There was plenty of parking available, the evening reception included 2 free drinks with snacks. There was a very laid back atmosphere, guests were laughing and talking together. The free breakfast was great with made to order omelets, it was very crowded the day after Thanksgiving probably due to the holiday and people shopping for Christmas. We definitely plan on staying again whenever we're in the area. The only downsides, only one working elevator, so you had to have some patience. Although the rooms were nice and well maintained, they could use some updating. Bathroom had lots of lighting and a large mirror with vanity. Keep up the good work!

Stayed here for a weekend lacrosse tournament. We were only able to book a handicap accessible room on the first floor because the place was full. The room looked and felt bigger than a standard size room, especially the bathroom, since the space is large enough to fit a wheelchair.

Front desk was helpful and professional. During our stay, if we wanted daily cleaning, we had to request it. We were told that would be changing to the way it was pre-Covid.

Our room was clean and comfortable but lighting was dim, even after we turned on every light in the room. We had a microwave and a small fridge (that did not have a freezer compartment). The sofa and dining area was separated from the bedroom by a door.

Shower was walk-in. No tub. Amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were available and permanently attached to the wall. The amount of floor space in the bathroom, as well as the rest of the room was spacious.

The room was located on the first floor near the laundry room, bar and entrance doors going out to the parking lot but it was incredibly quiet during our stay. I had one of the best sleep in this room.

The hotel location is close to shops and restaurants but we ate at the bar both nights we stayed here because the bar staff made us feel comfortable and welcome and we liked the vibe there. Noise level was comfortable and it was nice to get a drink and eat food and talk without having to raise our voices.

Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold options. There’s also an omelette bar. The afternoon manager’s special was mainly chips, crackers, hummus, salsa and popcorn. The drinks selection was nice tho.

We’ll definitely stay here again for future tournaments.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! Rooms were very nice and clean, breakfast was unbelievably good, and they also hosted a happy hour each night. The only bad experience was that one elevator was slow.

This hotel gets five stars on value alone. Based on the size of the rooms, free breakfast offerings, and free evening reception drinks, you get a lot for your money. The ladies making delicious omelets in the mornings are the sweetest people around. Get to breakfast early before 8:30 as it does get very busy.

Awesome stay at this location! Manager Kandi and staff were amazing service representatives! Breakfast !? Wow! Must say I'm impressed with the quality of food and service of all the staff that handles this department! Thank you all for a wonderful stay! Look forward to our next visit!

From the moment we arrived until check out, the service was very good. All the employees were friendly and courteous!

Pleasant stay with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast had a number of choices. The made to order omelettes had many options for add-ons. The omelette chef was efficient, friendly, and a joy to watch cook! The pool water was cold but the kids still enjoyed it even going back a second time. One elevator was out of order and from what we were told has been out of service and in repair status for some time. The remaining elevator often had a couple of minutes wait time. The evening reception was enjoyable with tasty pineapple margaritas. It was great to see many guests enjoying the reception and mingling. Had we known that snacks were available at the reception we would have included our young kids but instead we left them in the room watching movies with our oldest adult aged child.

Nice hotel. We booked this hotel and The Pohatan at Williamsburg to secure our Diamond Status and stay locally. We were certain we would stay at the Pohawatan at Williamsburg, but after visiting the property, we knew it would be the Embassy Suites. From check-in, Embassy Suites did not disappoint. The staff appreciated our stay and being a diamond member, with a goodies bag with all my choices. This is the first complete goodie bag I can recall in all my years as a diamond. The room was clean, spacious, and in great condition, as was the bar, lobby, and dining area. The MTO breakfast was off-the-chain delicious, and all the food one could expect was hot and fresh, and customer service was the best. We live in Richmond and have never stayed at this hotel, but this is our new local staycation spot when we want to get away but not too far. For my entire adulthood, I travel personally once a month and for business at least once a month. I’ve stayed in the Ritz and I’ve stayed in Comfort Inn’s. But 90% Hilton brand. I have never left a review.
I wanted to let management know that this was the best “bang for your buck” I’ve ever had. I have a bottom line to watch, so I analyze these things when it comes to price and amenities. You nailed them all.
Your two room king suite was a little more square footage than I’m accustomed to for $40-60 less a night. This was better than my $400-$500 a night stays. Your staff from the front desk to the bartenders to the breakfast staff were unbelievable. Probably 5 staff members interacting with guests extending into an explosion of laughter throughout my meal was truly top tier. Selfishly Fastidious in usual manner,
The amount of free things I received was not overlooked. I think I was at the bar for three hours and ate with a few drinks for like $30. The gym was much more room that usual this early morning almost to myself.
Again bravo to leadership instilling this morale. Please, duplicate yourselves to all of the Hiltons.
I can empathize with the elevator issue for families and handicap but I use the stairs anyway so it did not affect me.

The lobby area, bar, restaurant areas very nice. It would have been nice if they had an outdoor pool. I don't think the rooms were that dated. How modern do people want the decor to be? Ultra futuristic ? Sheesh. I'd love to see the bedrooms of the women on here complaining. I'm sure their rooms look dated from 1999 to 2015. This hotel room looked better than the Embassy Suites I stayed at in Puerto Rico.

Our bed sheets appeared to be very clean. I don't have a black light flashlight so don't know for sure. However, I always bring my own bed sheets, pillow cases, and sofa cover (which I left behind). The room overall was very clean. It would be nice if the lamps were brighter. I like that every room has a separate sitting area.

The best thing about the hotel is the free breakfast. It was good and people making the omelettes and taking away plates were very personable.

We brought our dog and the grassy areas near the road are plentiful & safe to walk the dog. It would have been nice if this hotel had an outdoor seating area. Seems like manager runs a tight shift here.

I stayed there from 1/20/23 through 1/23/23 and I had wonderful time! I celebrated my birthday there with my husband. The staff there is amazing! They go out of their way to make your time feel special and they ensure that you are comfortable in your room. I just want to say thank you to everyone there. My birthday was amazing because of all of you! God Bless!

Unique location. We have visited this hotel numerous times over the past 5 years. It is not on a busy thoroughfare and it is very quiet. Dining area always has fresh coffee, available to guests. Rooms are spacious, clean and because of their layout, quiet! Manager receptions are well attended! Staff - and I mean ALL staff - will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Steven St John was very helpful in helping us connnect our phones to WiFi. Any issues we had were quickly resolved, and not ignored. I would highly recommend this hotel for families as well as couples looking to escape their busy routines.
I should mention that 1 elevator is out of order. If you have difficulty using stairs, you might want to wait until the elevator is fixed. The second elevator works, but can be busy. My wife and I packed light and used the stairs, and for us, it was not a problem!

Every staff member we encountered were friendly and absolutely lovely! The suite was nice, everything was clean. The breakfast was amazing! The evening reception was a nice touch, but we ended up purchasing a drink because the drink menu was limited. We had a great time and would stay again. Minutes from anything you need!

One of the best and cleanest hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff was so nice. They really made me feel welcomed and appreciated. The hotel is beautiful and in a quiet and convenient location.

The evening reception was an awesome touch. Plenty of finger food and goodies were made available. The complimentary 2 drinks was great as well. This will be my go-to hotel whenever I'm in this area.

Stunning hotel with lovely wall tapestry and waterwall. Outstanding breakfast buffet with made to order service as well as longer hours than most. Love the suite with separate sitting room, fridge, microwave, etc. The restaurant is hopping on a Friday!!
