Great bookstore. Awesome to have a place like this locally. Their inventory is insane. The people that work there are very polite and accommodating. Litteraly every one star review on here was written by someone offended by their political views. Definitely check this place out. It's worth a drive if you aren't local.

I used to live in the area, but have since moved away. Every time I visit, I make time to go to Mr. Bookman. I always find incredible and unique books at a VERY low price. Last year during the $1 book sale, the staff went out of their way to open a sealed pallet of books and allowed me to buy a couple of Perry Mason pulp novels for my dad. He loved them and I haven't seen those types of vintage books anywhere since. I will forever be greatful for that. As far as the political views on display, I may not agree...but we live in a country that protects and entitles us to display those beliefs publicly. As long as those displays aren't hurting anyone or are offensive, I'm happy to keep supporting this business whenever I can!

Fantastic selection of used books and very well priced. Lots of stuff from records to cds to old magazines. There is even an antique book section. Nice family run business. Very clean and organized. It's bigger than my local library, not sure what people are saying about not much selection. You can also go online and search for books in their store, which I've never seen before frankly. Good place to find out of print stuff.

I absolutely ❤ Mr. Bookman's space!! I literally love everything about it! I could spend days in his store and be the happiest person on Earth 🌎!! He has SOOOOOO many options and if you are looking for something and can't find it on the shelves, ask a staff member because they have hidden gems everywhere! ❤ I picked up an old copy of "Animal Farm" that I had been searching for for the longest time for SO CHEAP!! 🤯 I truly can't say enough good things about Mr. Bookman's, but that's my opinion, check it out for yourself! 😉

Just visited this little gem! Lovely little store, very well organized. I love that there are signs at the ends of the aisles to let you know what subject matter is in that aisle. Store was clean, staff was really friendly. I found a TON of books on my wantlist and they were all super inexpensive. LOVE the vintage book room! Will definitely visit again when I acquire another shelf to accommodate all my finds! Ha!

My husband and I stumbled across this gem last summer as we were traveling to his parents hunting camp. The selection is tremendous and the prices are fair. I will suggest that if you are looking at a popular author you may want to see if there is another copy of the same book available...sometimes you can find a cheaper copy. The staff has always been extremely friendly. When we get the random day off together, my husband and I will now make a day trip from the Pittsburgh area to come to this bookstore and we never leave with less than a bag full of books.

Trust me. This is a fantastic bookstore. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A wonderful selection. I have no idea what all the one-star ratings are for. The store is a 30 minute drive for me, well worth the drive. I will be back with my wife and kids. You will be blessed if you go.

Store has an excellent array of a variety of different books, all for a great price. Staff is helpful and friendly. All the 1star reviews claiming their isn't enough inventory or the prices are too high CLEARLY have never stepped foot inside the building. Listen to the 4 and 5 star reviews

Accidentally found this place just out exploring. If you are into books, even hard to find collector books, this is a great place to stop! Friendly staff that are willing to help you find whatever book you are looking for. My wife added some gems to her collection here for a very reasonable price. They are online as well.

This was one of the best book stores that I have ever been to. The prices were great the store was very neat clean and alphabetized. You didn't have to wear a mask if you didn't want to. Wearing a mask is a personal choice nobody looked down on you for wearing or not wearing a mask. Wonderful store I will be going there again. I don't know what people are saying about Jan. 6th and insurectionest employees. All the employees very nice and helpful.

This is a large, well organized store with used and new books, cds, vinyl records, and local crafts for sale. Family owned business, very friendly owners. I was impressed by the sheer size of the place - it's bigger than my local library!

Great store with great books and wonderful owners. I only patronize businesses that know that Covid-19 is fake. I've never worn a face diaper and never will. Nor will I take the "vaccine" EVER! Although I don't support either party in any way, shape or form, these people ROCK!

Great place with a lot of books. Some of the books are a little more expensive than say a thrift store but they are more likely to have what you are looking for. Also it is pretty organized.

I have been there many times and enjoy every visit. They always something on the shelves that I was looking for and the prices are fair.

Very wide selection of books, CDs, movies, and vinyls. I think old board and card games should be added to the mix as well!

My favorite used book store in the nation!! We travel all over everywhere and THIS bookstore is what the heart of America should be.

Books are in great condition. Everyone is friendly an offers to help you look for something. Some of the books are just breath taking to look at. It's a great treasure for our community!
