I have loved this store for years. Such a great selection of collectibles, vintage and the unique! I highly recommend that you stop there when you are in downtown Sanford. It's directly across from the Willow Tree German Restaurant so you can make a day of it.

Although I haven't purchased anything yet, the customer service we were given was above par and very helpful on the items we asked about. I absolutely love the selection this place has!

My bad experience began in August, 2017 when I co-signed 2 books with the owner. In June, 2018 I began trying to contact the store/owner. I have documented all dates and times I not only stopped at the store, but the many messages I not only left at her store, but also on her personal cell. My messages were always polite. After not even so much as a returned phone call my daughter tried the owner on her cell while with me ( beginning of November 2018) and the owner picked up (not recognizing the number, I suspect). The owner asked we email her a copy of my receipt of co-signment and she would check into in. Another 2 weeks passed and nothing. My daughter contacted her again. She was “working on it,” and wondered if I was dead since my daughter was trying to deal with her because of her lack of response to me. Back and forth, and back and forth. When she did finally call me (saying she didn’t want to deal with my daughter) she asked for pictures of what I had co-signed and THANK GOD I had taken pictures of the 2 books. I told her I just wanted them back (if the hadn’t sold and my share of the money if the had).

I sent pictures of both the books. Finally I got a $25 check on 1/2/19for one of the books ( she wouldn’t tell me when it sold).

Again I reached out to the owner for the other book. Finally I called the Sanford Police Dept and a very helpful officer called the owner on my behalf. She told him I had to send a picture of the book and she would take care of it. I told him I had sent them previously, he said to do it again, which I did and she responded to the text(rudely). That was on 1/8/19. Still, I don’t have my book back or any money if she sold it.

The officer said I could handle it in the civil court. I not only don’t have the money, but I don’t have the time. Thus, I can only let folks know and hope that this review will help prevent others from experiencing this.

I sold her a dining set, and since I had to deliver it to her myself, I brought a dresser I was putting into consignment. I sent her my personal information immediately since she requested this in order to fill out the agreement. I told her I wanted to simply review the agreement before deciding but left the dresser with her in good faith. After almost two weeks of the agreement still not being sent to me, I emailed her. Her response was that she’s busy and I was 6th on her list. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I don’t understand why it would take so long to send an agreement for my review! Another two weeks went by with me reaching out to her a few times. It wasn’t until I threatened to get the police involved that she finally responded, stating she was on vacation. Again, extremely unprofessional to not send an agreement over before vacation after I’ve been requesting it since day one. A month had passed and I couldn’t get an agreement for the furniture that was already in her possession?? I was finally able to get my dresser back after a month.

Very unprofessional. I believe she was hoping I’d forget about it entirely.

Also, I sold her a dining set. Solid wood, VERY heavy. my dad and husband had to move it into her store since she doesn’t pickup furniture herself, or arrange for someone to do it. She had them move a bunch of her things around in her own store to make room for this. My dad is very polite but he has a bad back and neck and should not have been moving such heavy furniture. She made them lift the table OVER THEIR HEADS in order to move it to a certain spot. She couldnt even make room in her own store for the furniture she wanted to buy? She had to boss my dad and husband around to do it for her? She didn’t pay them, she just expected it.

Doesn’t even deserve one star. No customer service, she’s very rude and demanding. I’m appalled that someone would take advantage the way she did.

Horrible experience and still ongoing. I took multiple items to Sara Jacobson's store on 8/28/18 for her to sell on consignment. She prepared a partial consignment agreement with the promise to send me the remainder (description and photos of items) in a few days. Over the next 5 or 6 weeks I made several requests for the remainder of the consignment agreement to which she replied it would be coming soon. When I first met and gave my items to Sara Jacobson, another lady showed up asking for the same part of the consignment agreement that I have been requesting - she said she had brought her items to her several weeks ago and "rolled her eyes at me" when Sara again told her it would be coming soon. Last week I filed a complaint with the Seminole County Better Business Bureau and have not heard any response from Sara Jacobson and she still has my items. I would caution anyone to be very wary when doing business with Sara Jacobson whether it be buying, selling, or consignment. Joe Hudson 10/26/18

Never seems to be open. We’ve tried going since February on our days off and finally just gave up although there’s tons of things we’re interested in when peeking through the windows. Really disappointing.
