Home away from home, amazing place and staff. I'm a traveling CNA, and the roads can definitely wear me out, leaving me exhausted for my next shift. The owner is kind not to bother me or give me a hard time about being zonked out in my scrubs, while decompressing in my chair. They even have baked pretzels and hot dogs, amongst many others. Their pomegranate kombucha is the way if I need a pick me up for the road. Or just try their kava shells,(2 for 1) Tuesdays, CBD candy bars, what can I say, everything is delicious 🙏 bula!

The place is super nice and very good attention. I had a mocka kava shoot. It's something different that i recommend trying.

Best Kava Bar in town - hands down. You can get kava, kratom, kombucha, and a variety of quick snack foods. Service is always great and the environment is vibrant, festive, and happy. If you want the bar experience without the alcohol and drunks, this is the place!

My husband and I went in yesterday and tried kava for the first time. John was so kind, explained everything in detail, and was just super friendly. I honestly went in expecting to feel old and out of place, but John really made it a good experience. Definitely will go back! (I can’t really review the kava since I have nothing to compare it to, but I am looking forward to trying it again. We did both get a calming feel from it.)

Best kava bar I've been to. I've tried most of them in Brevard and a few in Tampa. The kava is strong, the kratom options are great, the environment somehow crosses between the chill beach vibe and cleanliness; the bar back is always cleaning and wiping everything down. I can't forget the service, but it's definitely good. It depends on who is working when it comes to quick, excellent service, but it's never been bad in the almost 2 years I've been going.

Had a meeting there and they were extremely accommodating. I had never tried Kratom and they explained everything to me including the differences between the different types and what to expect. Plenty of space and pool tables/games made the time pass by easier while waiting for everyone to arrive. Will definitely be going back and bringing people next time. Keep up the good work 😊

While the flavor of the Kava is not that great, the bartenders are. Not their flavor, I mean. The guys are informative, funny and relaxed.

The people here are super friendly. The place looks amazing both inside and out and the kava/kratom drinks are very well blended because they use the leaf instead of the powder to brew their drinks.

Excellent place - kava is nice and strong, nitro tea on tap. I come here often to work on my writing or certifications, and the front patio is great to relax on a nice evening. This place got me into kava five years ago and to say that was life changing is no understatement

Island Root is my go to hang spot. The staff (at all 3 Melbourne locations) have become some of my best friends ever. The owner is the man!
