Though they are commonly called "grasses", groups such as the seagrasses, rushes and sedges fall outside this family. The rushes and sedges are related to the Poaceae, being members of the order Poales, but the seagrasses are members of order Alismatales. However, all of them belong to the monocot group of plants.

Very well run store. I am a regular here and they have always kept an organized store and if ever an issue, the managers are great from front line to the general manager. Love having this store nearby

Great visit this morning. Gentlemen who helped me in plumbing was very helpful. I came in looking for what "I" wanted, but he directed me to a better/easier way to do it. Love going to my hometown Homedepot!!!!

I don't actually go to Home Depot much, but I'm going to change that! My customer service experience was absolutely wonderful! I needed help finding a freezer, and they didn't just give me the finger. That's a retail way to say point to the general direction. Instead, they walked me to them and started telling me about the types and the sales. The checkout experience was pretty awesome and fast. Although it was only self checkout, there was a very helpful person there who was "directing traffic" I'll say. It's truly a great experience these days for retail. Great job, Home Depot of South Hill Virginia!

This store normally has a good inventory.
Again this was the only home Depot that had the shelving I wanted in stock, so ordered online for curbside pickup.
They had it all ready and brought it out to the car.
Very easy !

They are my go to place when the other building center is out of stock. The employee helped me load the heavy items and even thanked me for shopping at HD.

Wow what a difference! I haven’t shopped in this store for years because the customer service was non existent and the management and staff were so rude and unhelpful. However I decided to shop here today due to convenience. Boy was I shocked at how helpful and courteous everyone at that store was. It’s a whole new place. Great selection and clean store with friendly and helpful staff. Thanks Home Depot. Great job to management and staff of South Hill Home Depot.

I was getting paint the other day and Leigh in the paint department was extremely helpful. He knowledge of products was very helpful also in making my decision.

Visited and purchased items at the Home Depot in South Hill, Va for the first time today. Chrissy, in customer service is awesome. She assisted me with a minor issue, but she responded as if it was a major one. She is very knowledgeable and friendly, and resolved the issue quickly. We live in Henderson, NC., but it’s closer for us to shop at this store. Not only is it closer, but the folks there are friendly and helpful. We have made this our home store. Thanks again Chrissy for your professionalism and willingness to help.

Inventory is great. Nice people mostly but saw 1man constantly avoiding people who were looking for help. If you know what you want and need no help, it's a great place to shop
If you really need help, I hope you have a Lowe's nearby.

Great place to shop!!! The gentleman who assisted us was top of the line.( unfortunately I can't remember his name) We purchased a vanity and he had more patience with us than I may have ever experienced. He was also very knowledgeable. When other employees had issues, he was the go to guy. During my visit I saw him assist in lumber, appliances and plumbing. Home Depot was very clean, fully stocked and my shopping experience was very pleasant. My only concern is that employees weren't readily available to help and for the ones who were, they seemed to be overworked.

Recently moved to this area, ordered appliances, kitchen cabinets, shower and cabinet for the bath room, and the employees made sure we had all we needed for installation. Employees were very helpful. I have returned many times getting other items and for the most part the employees were there to help. My last visit there was to buy backsplash tile. Thanks to a very friendly young man who helped lift the tiles and find what I needed to complete the project. After I checked out, returning to my truck I was trying to figure out how I could lift the heavy boxes out if the cart. As I neared my truck there stood this same young man, smiling and offered to help, even though he was on his lunch break. ☺

Love this store, love the staff, lighting & cleanliness. We did an online order for one item for a DIY project. As I headed into store, notices the email spoke of car side pickup. Well we just went to the front counter where Brittany and Stephanie promptly said we can help you. Brittany seamlessly located the order and we were on our way out in 5 minutes. All this said, these ladies were professional, efficient and took the time to be polite and exchange niceties with us. We enjoy chatting with people and we shared smiles and were wished a good day. In these days of staying home and feeling isolated, this gave us a FEEL GOOD DAY. Thank you Stephanie and Brittany for being sensitive to the customer experience.

I’m a young person in my early 20’s so I’m trying out new things and is building experience. I was looking for any help and help came quick thanks to Tim. He immediately notice I was looking around and was able to help me find not only the item I was looking for, but also educated me on how to get the job done once I leave the store with it. Tim your a amazing guy.

As I am currently in the throes of a kitchen remodel, I am often in the aisles of Home Depot. Today, through no ones fault but my own, I had to stop by the paint department. I didn't catch her name, but the associate working this afternoon was so very helpful. She exceeded my expectations in helping with my problem. Kudos, Home Depot, you have some amazing personnel on staff!
