Marriott's Manor Club at Ford's Colony

My husband and I love visiting Williamsburg with our two younger boys (7 and 4). We visit once or twice a year and try different resorts each time. This was our first visit to Ford's Colony, and we were not disappointed. A few nights before we arrived, they called and asked for our preference of location, by the pool or quiet. Of course, we chose quiet, but the room also ended up being by the pool and the splash pad (which the boys loved). The room itself...amazing! Spacious and comfortable with a full kitchen and washer/dryer, which helped us save some money on dinner, especially since the restaurant wasn't very good. The grounds were beautiful despite the construction. My husband and I enjoyed walking with our boys on the trail. And the staff....super nice. It's really difficult to say anything bad about this place. It's actually one of the best resorts we've stayed at. It's a little out of the way in terms of attractions, but no big deal. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice hotel. Room was spacious, clean, and just awesome. Had a kitchen, dining table and enough room for our party of 5. Nice sitting area outside. Pool was also very nice. My only issue was parking. Seemed to be a lot of people there without permits and parking was difficult each time coming back.

My family frequently visits the resort and always enjoys our time. The rooms are spacious condos. Everything is always extremely clean! We've stayed in several different manors, and all have been great. The space is very history rich within each room featuring artwork of historical figured.

Ive stayed at a few Marriott hotels, very first at Marriott's Manor club. This place is amazing, parking is not ok, not the best. Rooms are very clean, the king size bed was very comfortable, decor was amazing, window view was great, as I looked out might window, miniature golf was right underneath my room large swimming pool was off to a distance and beautiful trees every where. Very cozy spot. I will definitely visit again in the future. Staff was very nice.

We very much enjoyed our stay last week at Marriotts Manir at Fords Colony. Clean, comfortable accommodation (we stayed in a one-bedroom villa). No funky “hotel smell” or deodorizers. Pools were very nice and the staff communicated about pool closures promptly as it related to weather. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful resort with plenty of activities for the whole family. The staff was available 24/7 and pleasant throughout the entire stay.

Amazing for the family just be prepared to cook they offer full kitchen but outside of that not many food options nearby except for williamsburg pristine facilities and so much for the family to do and activities everyday we had an amazing experience and will definitely be back just wish they had more food options on site.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms were large, furnished nicely and location was good. Service was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.

Had the pleasure and privilege of staying at Marriott’s Manor Club. The property is well maintained and the facilities are very clean. This is my 1st visit and hopefully not my last.

the rooms were amazing considering it was about 80 dollars a night for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a full kitchen and dining area! very quiet location with a pool and splash pad for kids! 10/10 would recommend!

We stayed in the one-bedroom villa. The room was beautiful and worth the price. We even extended our stay by one day. The pictures do not do the place justice. First and foremost, the service was great from check-in and throughout our stay. The room had a jetted tub, nice shower, a full kitchen with utensils, plenty of cookware, and glasses. We also were in close proximity to all the Williamsburg attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Lastly, we visited in Decemeber and they had plenty of activities available like crafting classes, a movie space, and on-site restaurant. Our only complaint was that the indoor pool was supposed to be heated to 85 degrees and it was much colder. Was a great place to visit in the winter, but would love to experience this place in the summer.

Nice roomy rooms well furnished and lots of space. Clean and well taken care of. Very good location to down town Williams Burg and Bush Gardens.

We are here the first week of December and the Christmas decorations at the Marriott Manor Club are beautiful! The staff here go above and beyond to welcome you and to accommodate your needs. The furniture and beds are not only beautiful but comfortable. It’s off the beaten path therefore quiet and peaceful but not that far a drive to the historic district. With most of our timeshares, we don’t participate in the activities offered but the Marriott Manor Club is the exception. The activity area is well-managed and well kept. There is a movie theater which is comfortable and has wonderful offerings during the day and in the evening of both movies and short documentaries. There are books and games you can sign out. A computer for guests’ use; a ping-pong table and game machine for kids are also available. We also attended a live performance by a Teddy Roosevelt re-enactor which was quite enjoyable. There are also craft workshops offered. Above all, the staff in the activity center is outstanding, each and every one of them. They make you feel so welcome and see to it that you find what you’re looking for. Sandy did a great job helping me and other guests make holiday wreaths. This is our third time here but won’t be our last.

Every need anticipated! We traveled with a large family of 6, and absolutely this was the best accommodations we have experienced thus far in all of our travels in Williamsburg and in the Marriott brand. Definitely reccomend the two bedroom suite, it is space with full size washer and dryer, stocked kitchen, tasteful decorations, jacuzzi tub, ample dining area, fireplace, clothes basket, recycling service, built in charging, spacious bathrooms and bedrooms, pullout sofa, wingback chairs, work stations, nooks, full size closets, cosmetic lighting, blackout blinds, enclosed patio, in a secure location with great staff- thanks Caitlyn! 😊 Our home away from home for sure when traveling to this area!

I had a great time with my family over 5 days. The room was immaculate and the staff was very helpful. Great location with everything worth doing well within reach.

There's not too much to complain about. The pool water is never cold, the staff is friendly, and many of the guest respect the property and honor the policies. No stray cigarette butts all over the place and the grounds are beautiful. I will say that some cosmetic touch-ups are needed here-and-there, and the mattress we had was fantastic despite the less worn [hump in the middle] that I noticed because I tend to sleep in the middle if the bed (the hubby stays on his side no matter how big the bed). The only mistake we made was not requesting an upper floor for the views.

Love this place, their amenities are unmatched! We stayed in a two bedroom everything was updated and gorgeous. They have great hospitality services and even sent us up a crock pot. The kids enjoyed a magic show, the splash pad, indoor and outdoor pools and freebies as well. Definitely recommend over the other 3 resorts we’ve stayed in the past in Williamsburg.

MY goodness this is among the nicest Marriott Resort/Clubs I have ever stayed at. I found the place wonderfully relaxing with a ton of walking trails and neighborhood streets. I found the employees just incredibly friendly and trained properly and of course always helpful to guests. The location is spectacular nestled near the well thought of neighborhood called Ford's Colony. I'm building a new home there now and find this hotel great for when we need to meet with the builder. Superb location and great golfing.

The hotel is beautiful, offering a wide range of fun activities for children. The spacious and clean rooms added to our pleasant stay. It's worth noting that the price is on the higher side, but the quality and experience you receive make it a worthwhile investment. Overall, a great choice for families seeking a memorable and enjoyable vacation.

We visit often, so we love the king suite for our summer anniversary getaway. The rooms & location are nice, eateries & shopping close, & and it's neatly tucked away in a beautiful area on multiple golf courses. My husband golf's every day while there.

The only thing that I didn't enjoy this trip was the kids running in the hallway by 8:00am before we woke up & an hour before quiet time ended. I'm sure they were excited to be there before starting back to school. Other than that, we'll go again soon, maybe during off-peak.
