I purchased a new pair of running shoes last week and loving it!

After walking past it for three year, I finally went inside after starting to look into running again after many years. Jerry at Tri & Run was welcoming and shared great knowledge and views on running even for the very beginner. I had looked up a fair amount of information and been advised by a few people, including a doctor, but it all seemed to come together with Jerry.

He studied my walk and brought out three of the most comfortable pairs of shoes that I had ever tried on. I have had nice shoes, however, the attention to detail and his understanding of my feet, my height, my walk and my weight has built my trust and my businesses here.

Sometimes a shoe can feel good, but is it really the right shoe for us? I believe that Jerry has an amazing understanding and selection to match. I have found the place and the person I am trusting feet to for a long time to come.

I visited the store with my wife and her parents, my mother in law was looking for some running shoes. The two people working in the store were super attentive and very professional, definitely with a great knowledge of what they were doing. In the end I ended up buying some shoes for myself.

So glad I finally stopped into this store. A friend had recommended Brooks running shoes and that was my first request. After checking my walk, measuring my feet and asking a few questions,.Jerry brought out the perfect fit. It is so unusual for me to find a good fitting shoe right from the start, but it happened today. Jerry offered a couple of other shoes, but I could tell right away that the comfort level wasn't there. He was very helpful and understanding when I kept going back to that first shoe. It's great to have a local shop where the customer can get the attention needed and walk out feeling great about the purchase!! Thanks, Jerry... you have my recommendation.

This place is amazing. Jane delivered a friendly and welcoming greeting as soon as my wife and I walked in. We could immediately tell she was passionate and knowledgeable about everything related to running. We are new to our running journey and Jane provided a consultative shoe finding experience that helped us not only pick great shoes for our individual needs, but she also gave us sense of confidence and guidance. My wife and I left with what I called a runner’s starter kit - shoes, socks, shirts, glasses and recovery sandals. We’ll 100% be back for any upcoming running gear needs. I highly recommend anyone new to running to visit Tri & Run for your fit/purchase instead of guessing and purchasing elsewhere. There are too many variables to consider and experts like Jane will make sure you get it right the first time.

Had a really great experience here. The people here really know their stuff. I was running in shoes that were too big. I returned the next day saying how the shoes felt too tight. They relaced them for me and it was 100% perfect. What a great store, super friendly. Thanks again!

Wonderful experience. I went in knowing the specific shoes I wanted to try on and/or purchase, but I also wanted to get some advice on alternative options. I did have the benefit of knowing my running shoe fitment (neutral vs overpronation/supination, arch type, etc.) from a previous analysis done elsewhere.

Jane and staff were exceptional in their knowledge of each shoe. It’s one thing reading a review and perusing top best lists online, but it’s quite another experience being in front of a specialist who knows her stuff. I told Jane my shoe of choice, as well as my fitment requirements, stats and goals. She educated me on the options and narrowed them down to a couple based on my needs, one of them being the shoe I initially wanted to try (NB Fresh Foam More v3). Jane took the time to talk through the pros/cons of each option. What I appreciated more than anything else was the fact that she didn’t try to sell me on something I didn’t need. She listened and was very intentional on pointing out the options that best fit my needs.

This little shop has been here since 2006. It’s currently the oldest shop in downtown Winter Garden and I will continue to return and support this local business.

I highly recommend you give them a chance if you need some new gear. It’s worth it!

Great staff and love my new Hokas!!

Was looking for Hoka Sneakers and found this charming place on Plant Street. Owner helped us and was very knowledgeable regarding the brands he was selling. The shop had a good mix of apparel and running shoes. Quality stuff you don’t find in the big box stores. So far the shoes are great and am happy with my experience,

I was there mon jan 3rd it was my first time there and the woman there was so cool and nice.. i felt like i was choosing my wand for the first time like when harry potter did in the sorcerers stone film she was so knowledgeable. the shoes were amazing its like baymax is hugging my feet.. keep up the great work. i am so glad these small businesses in downtown winter garden are thriving all these years later.. nice people so helpful a plus customer service

Great place for running shoes and athletic wear. Very knowledgeable staff who know running shoe issues, which brands are popular, and why. They will spend whatever time you need answering questions about which shoes you need, and even let you take them on a short test run. They also have a nice collection of Life Is Good t-shirts, along with other gear, nice sandals, socks, shoe inserts, and nutritional products. Both the store owner and employees have run many miles and competed in triathlons, so they understand typical athlete concerns. They have a couple of nice road races annually, which are recommended, and I think also have weekly group runs, although I've never tried those. You also can't beat their perfect location right on the West Orange Trail just beside the large fountain, in the old part of downtown Winter Garden. Overall, this is a great store! Would be nice to have some social events for local athletes. :-)

The staff was very friendly and helpful! They take their time to understand the sort of shoe you need, and give good advice. I'm very happy with the shoes I got from here and will come back again when I need a new pair of running shoes
