Budget Blinds of Happy Valley

**Update**: all my defective blinds are replaced! The day they arrived, he called and installed the next day. It's been a long journey, but I don't think he or his company is to blame, but perhaps manufacturing. Welcome to the post-covid world!

Original post: I hate to write a bad review. I think Mark is a nice guy but we spent thousands of dollars on these blinds and 6 out of the 8 manual blinds they installed don’t work. He immediately ordered replacements. It’s been over 2 months and the date for the replacement blinds keeps getting delayed. Again, he’s a nice guy, but the product is defective and now my big beautiful windows have these blinds that won’t roll up most of the time.

Budget Blinds Happy Valley, Mark Suchanec, owner, is fabulous. I am an interior decorator and I had Mark install 58 blinds in a 12 apartment building in State College. He and his team did an outstanding job, install in 1 1/2 days without a hitch. We had 18 windows that were of a different shape and Mark came up with a perfect solution for those windows. His customer service and professionalism was right on. He was so easy to work with and kept me in the loop the entire time from measuring, quoting and installing. His pricing is right on and it includes installation.
You will be more then pleased if you use Mark and his team.

Great work

We ordered blinds throughout the house as part of a renovation project. The original proposal, pricing and sales process were excellent. The order took months to arrive so patience was needed. The installation was outstanding! They did a great job. However, there were a couple of things to be done (a machine left behind, a part missing, a part that needed to be replaced). We are now months past installation and still waiting for these simple items to be remedied. We are really enjoying what we have in place; we just wish the job was finished. The original order was placed 4/15/23 and we are still awaiting full completion. I am glad to see someone else had a similar situation that was eventually resolved. UPDATE: We got the final piece of the program corrected on 11/28/23. A very long process, thrilled with the blinds every day, Jonathan’s work as the installer was outstanding, but the length of the project was a bummer.
