Great bartender/waiter - over the top awesome (tall gentleman with glasses)! We were visiting the city, and he was very knowledgeable in addressing our questions and provided recommendations to do during our stay. Halibut and chips, reindeer sausage, and fried bologna were very good. Highly recommend!

Loved the atmosphere and decoration. Halloween dinner visit and the staff were dressed fashionably with flare. The food came in decent sized portions and was very tasty.

Always Fast clean and friendly. With the extremely well put together menu and good food even then garlic parm popcorn..!! ❤ the “we text you when your table is ready..!”

Huge variety; it's all good. Seasonal veggies are great. You're turning violet, violet cocktail is a fab aviation-a-like. Banana cream pie is too good. Desserts're too big for a solo diner like moi, but also I ate it all, bc too good.

Server was lovely to this traumatized/down solo diner.

Great place. Get the wild mushroom & black bean tostada app. Polenta scallop starter is great. I'm on the fence about the whisky garden drink. A little odd with cucumber infusion. Tho the Manhattan with Wiseman... nice!

Great welcome from the moment you walk in the door. The food was Perfect! Try the Korean Rice Bowl.

First time here - loved the wide variety on the menu! We had a hard time choosing. The kids meal came with a starter (she chose grapes) and a desert (best sorbet I've ever had!) I had the Korean rice bowl. It was spicier than I thought, but great flavor and the ingredients were in a great ratio. My husband got the jambalaya and didn't like it - way too many tomatoes and onions. When he told the staff, they took it off our table and off our ticket (which we were NOT aiming for). We also got the Mac and cheese and it was absolutely delicious. My kiddos loved the chicken strips and fries. We will absolutely be back!

Food was phenomenal. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sandwich was amazing. We shared the banana pudding dessert and it was hands down the best thing on the menu! The waiter we had was super attentive and friendly. He recommended the pudding and we were not disappointed. 10/10 recommend and will be returning. The only thing that was frustrating was the parking you definitely have to circle the lot or park in the lot next door and walk.

I had a lovely breakfast at Spenard Roadhouse. I have only been here for dinner before, so I was excited to try the breakfast options. I had the veggie Benedict and it was tasty. I was able to sit in a corner table near the bar, and was given the wifi password so that I could get some work done on my laptop. I loved the music selections, the chill vibe, the clean spaces and the friendly service. I want to come back and try the spare rib hash and the reindeer scramble. I am usually not a tator tot person, but these tots won me over. I will fold this place in as one of my breakfast faves from now on. Love the fresh brewed iced tea also.

We have eaten here twice as a family of five with three kids 6 and under. It is great for families with littles as their kids menu is wonderful. They get to choose an app, main, and little dessert, all for a decent price. Both of my vegetarian meals have been good. I LOVE that you can have a plate of "sides" and their side options are great. Service was great both times. No need to ask for refills and we got everything quickly.

we loved Spenards! glad we got there around 17:00. we sat in the bar area, so no wait. good thing we arrived early. the place was packed and a line waiting when we left! we had the bacon jam burger and the halibut and chips. plus a beer and a cadillac margarita. everything we had was delicious! our server Brian was awesome! he was super informative, hilarious and charming. he is definitely in his niche! we highly recommend Spenards!

My husband and I love coming here for brunch! Their buttery biscuits are so good I would come just for those but their drinks selection is broad and their food is delicious!

Pricey for casual dining but food was delicious. We got seated right away and service was fast and friendly.

Food came out quick. Cob salad with blue cheese dressing (amazing) good portion, had leftovers. My son had the Salmon and asked for it blackened; he said it was the best he'd ever had. Halibut and chips good. Overall after you get over the plate prices (that are WAY higher than most states) realize you are eating super fresh food in a beautiful part of the country.

Whenever someone is visiting from out of town I take them here. The menu always has something to impress me. The restaurant isn’t crowded or noisy. Finally, their bespoke drinks are as expertly crafted as they are imaginative.

Fun and delicious place! We loved it and went two nights in a row. Cocktail list is very fun and they were delicious! We read reviews and got the calamari, salmon and bacon jam burger...ALL delicious! That dirty rice was amazing and the Brussels sprouts were the best I've had! They ran out of their special the peach cooler the first night...so we went back and got it the second. SO good. I highly reccomend a stop here.

First time being there. Was recommended, and I ended up having a chorizo burrito. It was delicious. I would come back to try something different. I would definitely recommend coming back.

We weren’t expecting it, but Spenard’s had some of the best salmon we’ve ever had! It’s weird to say this as an American since everything we eat is fried, but Spenard’s knows how to fry things better than anywhere I’ve had. It must be the batter they use. The environment is laid back and perfect for a meal with a friend or a family dinner.

We had our first meal in Alaska at Spenard Roadhouse. They have a very diverse menu. Many entrees and sandwiches. We experienced the calamari and tater tot appetizers. Both were very good and they did not last long. Me and my son had the fried chicken sandwich. It was huge! The waiter was superhelpful and was a new transplant from Texas. We plan to go back for the peanut butter pie!

The only place I ate at twice in my 1 week stay in Anchorage. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly. One of the bartenders talked to me a bit about the zoo, which was very much appreciated. Great atmosphere and a good selection of different food. The biscuits!!
