The Inn of Rosslyn

Place is a bit outdated but for the price, I think it is fair. Will be cool for each room to have a microwave but once again, for the price it is good. I like to come here as a little break from work/home and I haven't had any issues. Bathroom was clean, no issue with noise, staff is friendly. TV placement is a bit weird and can't be seen from one bed so well. But i had no issue with heat and beds were soft

Our first time in D.C. and if we ever return we plan to come back.
Only down side is they have construction like right behind the hotel that starts at 7am. It's loud! Not a good thing, especially when we didn't get in until almost 1am on a Friday. Lucky for us no work for the construction workers on a Saturday,so we were able to get some much needed sleep. Overall very satisfied!

Very clean room. Beds were firm but comfortable. Excellent hot water and shower pressure. This is a hotel for a minimalist traveler and for those who appreciate an older style of room. Wish TV was high def. Wish room had a microwave or a rental available. Fridge was good. Excellent location to 2 metros, numerous restaurants and sights.

This has been one of the best "budget" hotels I've stayed at! I hate to use the word "budget" because I feel it translates to cheap which I don't think The Inn of Rosslyn is. The rooms are very comfy and clean. Yes some parts of the room are "outdated" as pointed out in other reviews but they are mostly structural items such as bathrooms and older heaters (new ones have been installed while the old remains). However, even with the bathrooms being "retro" in nature they are very clean and well maintained and the shower pressure is THE BEST! I also have never had better WiFi, it even rivals some of the uppity hotel chains. Strong signal everywhere and while it does get a little slow at peak hours I have never been kicked off or received messages alluding to "cannot load page". The staff are extremely nice and friendly as well. I definitely will be staying again. If you are looking to be lavished in luxury, then pay for the bigger chains, but I know my bathroom isn't wrapped in mahogany so I am OK with what this hotel offers. Also to note: There is a security deposit at check in but it is released after your stay. This is common for hotels around here so account for it and don't hold it against the hotel.

My husband and myself stayed here only for 1 night. The room is not very well isolated from the outside noises (but nothing that a good pair of earplugs cannot cover). Room n.3 has a comfy bed and it is large for two people. Breakfast is essential, but ok.
Staff is very welcoming and friendly, Virginia was lovely, one of the kindest people we have ever met.

A colleague and I stayed here for the past several nights for a work trip. We needed a hotel close enough to Georgetown (but with better prices). Our stay was great! Mr. Kyle Washington in particular was super helpful—when we arrived early, he let us check our bags while we grabbed lunch, and arranged for our room to be prepared for an early check-in. This was SUPER convenient (and very appreciated) so that we didn't have to take all of our bags with us to our various work meetings. Mr. Washington, Virginia (who helped us at check-out and was incredible), and all other staff members we encountered displayed EXCELLENT customer service. They were cordial, accommodating, and flexible to meet our needs. We stayed in the suites, which were clean and had everything we needed. It was also a super quick/easy (and relatively inexpensive) commute (via Lyft, although the metro wasn't far away and appeared to be walkable) into the city.

Would stay again!

This hotel was a great stay during my trip to Washington in June 2019. It is close to the main touristy spots such as White House and the Lincoln memorial as well as the Smithsonian museums. You can Uber in under $10 without having to find parking spots in the city. When I went for check-in, I thought that I made a bad decision to stay here. But when I entered the room I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were absolutely clean, well-appointed, had all the required ameneties, and the bathroom was extremely clean as well. The breakfast provided in the morning is pretty basic such as oatmeal toast bagel and coffee but I was happy with it. The cherry on top for my stay here was Virginia, who is the front desk receptionist. I have stayed at so many hotels but don't remember meeting a receptionist as friendly and helpful as Virginia. The hotel staff is very friendly. This hotel is completely unassuming has the power to surprise.

April 2019. The place is very conveniently located. Just walk to the Rosslyn Metro Train Station and in 10-20 min you are in DC, across the river. Parking is available and free (a huge plus for DC area). Beds are comfortable. The Internet is fast. Breakfast was just coffee, orange juice and bread with something to put on it. You have to eat breakfast outside basically. I still give this place five starts. Did not notice any dirt, smell, or insects. Everything is clean.

Clean, comfortable with good a.c and cable tv. For a motel its pretty good and better than what I expected. When I booked it said bagels and coffee for breakfast but there was oatmeal as well. Overall decent place especially for the price

Stayed here last night and night before w/2 adults and 2 children. I am exactly for whom this motel is intended: someone who likes great bones and no extra frills that I'd pay for but never need nor use. The location is fantastic and you're surrounded by very upscale condos/apts. The place is immaculate and had everything I needed: great, hot water w/sufficient water pressure in a deep, clean tub. Basic cable and very comfy beds. Needed front desk help and they could NOT have been nicer or more prompt. If you HAVE to have the fitness center, spa, and indoor pool, you'll pay much more somewhere else. If not, I highly recommend this place.

Rooms are clean and cozy and the staff is very welcoming and they have a get-up-and-go breakfast which is very nice too. I've stayed there twice and would definitely go again! Oh and price is great too!

Friendly place with decent accommodations. Staff very helpful. Flight was delayed by 6hrs hotel called to check on my ETA. Rooms are clean tidy and all you need. Amaha kept me informed and entertained during check in and check out!!

Evelyn has the best customer service with a warm welcoming smile and personality. She displayed genuine patience and most importantly her interest in making sure I received a smooth booking process and comfortable stay. I highly recommend this location for price efficiency and cleanliness.

The hotel is really good about rates, but the Asian girl I think her name is Evelyn is really bad attending people because I left my phone and I called and she didn’t help to look in the room it. So annoying person! I would love to come because the housekeeping crew is really nice. Mrs. Elvia so nice!

The Inn at Rosslyn was not only an excellent value it was very clean, well maintained and safe. The geographic area was perfect and within a short distance to walk or Uber anywhere. Most importantly, the individuals who run The Inn at Rosslyn are as honest as you can get. After we checked out and got back home to Atlanta it occurred to us that our brand new laptop was missing so we called to see if we had left it there. Sure enough it was left in the room, secured by one of the staff and placed in safe keeping in the offices of the hotel- just ready to be shipped back to us. Wow! I would not hesitate to stay here.

Nice place, clean room and friendly staff. It’s location is wonderful that you can reach most places in DC in 15 minuets. The price is pretty cheap, it will be a good choice if you’re going to have a short trip in DC.

Economical! Great Bargain! Can't Beat The Prices. Staff were kind and helpful. Totally enjoyed my stay! Made reservations for the January 19th, Women's March.

Common coplaint of "dated"? Pictures are an obvious tip off. 50s style place. Clean room and reasonable quiet considering it is next to a highway. My high five star is to point out that it exceeded my expectations. Also, slept well considering. If you are very sensitive, book somewhere else; if you are from a big city, nothing new.

Classic motel. Cozy, good rates with nice rooms, within walking distance to Rosslyn and Courthouse metro stops (15 min). Staff is friendly and accommodating. Would recommend.

Great place! Very clean and accommodating. Evelyn, the manager, provides a real customer service (people to people and not corporation to people) and makes you feel like home away from home. I would most definitely come back to stay again, especially if Evelyn is there!
