The McCall Activity Barn

Came up from Boise for the weekend and decided to bring the kids. We bought out tickets online the night before. Which I recommend! When we got there, the session we came for was full. The 2 hours went quickly!! I would definitely go again.

It took my boys here and it was sooo fun, I definitely recommend bringing drinks or snacks but other then that great and everyone was friendly

Went during ice festival , and I couldn't believe they made a huge maze with snow! That was pretty cool. Definite fun for the entire family. With some beverages and sledding time for the kids. We had a blast

Our group of 5 came on a Friday. The first session of the day was 2pm and we bought our tickets online the night before. We arrived ahead of time so we could get our cards and sign the waiver. Grabbed our tubes and were ready to go at 2pm. Very friendly staff from check in to lane attendants. For the first few runs of the day they let some large groups go at the same time, but they had too much momentum for the conditions, so staff implemented a limit of 2 tubes at a time.
Hints: stand your tube on edge in front of you going up the conveyor belt. Easier to manage and something to lean on.
Make sure your tube has a long leash. Many are broken and are shorter, and then the tube bashes into your legs when walking.
When you sit in your tube, make sure the 2 handles are in front of you, not behind, or your arms will be at an awkward angle on the ride down.
No difference between red or blue tubes.
We had so much fun, stayed for the full 2 hours, never a wait for the conveyor belt, and got in maybe 15-20 runs. Got our money’s worth!

It was a really fun place to go sledding, especially since you don't have to walk up the hill with your tube. The best part is "The Magic Carpet". Friendly and organized staff that keeps the line moving. There are 6 different paths to tube down.

Had a great time at The McCall Activity Barn! It was coming down pretty good while we were there and it just added to the fun. In between runs the kids had hot cocoa and the wife and I had one with a kick! Will definitely be going back!

Views! Out on the rolling hills you will get views of the surrounding mountains from several different angles. I didn't want to be stuck in the trees glimpsing occasional vistas, so I'm really glad we chose to come to the Activity Barn for our initial XC ski. Free parking and free ski on groomed trails.

Ok! Staff is literally AMAZING like the tubing hills are awesome but staff 100% make the whole experience better. Would 100000% recommend!!!!

So much fun to visit, and the tube feels so fast going down the hill. They do have a height limit, which my youngest was about an inch too short. She had fun being pulled around in a tube, while her brother took turns going up with mom and grandma.

Have been coming here for a long time. Only keeps improving since Brundage bought it years ago. The location isn't too far out of town, the employees are great and they maintain the runs very well. The magic carpet ride is a vast improvement from the sit down in the tube and get dragged up the hill scenario that was there years ago. The have some very strong gals up top to spin you like crazy after take off!!! Oh, and they have good music playing up top at the waiting area.

Great people manning the tubing hill! Highly recommend it for a great thrill and fun!

Had a wonderful time rubbing!! The staff were so helpful and kind!! Not much in the way of waiting for your turn to head down the slopes!

So fun, you don't need a lot of time to fully enjoy tubing maybe 50 minutes max

Ok. This place rocks. You probably already have an idea what it is, but if not....sledding without climbing sums it up. You pay like $20 or so for a lift ticket that gets you access to their tubes and a moving sidewalk type deal that you stand on to go up the hill. You don't get tired, it's just a fun fun time sliding down the hill. I forgot my phone in the car so no pics, but the view from up top is amazing. We were there as the sun was going down.....just awesome. Highly recommend for good family fun. Staff was great. We had a blast.

Fun place for snow tubing and just for 20 bucks. The staff are very warm and helpful too. Poor fellows push you down with great strength everytime, which is not easy when you're a big group but they do it happily. Some good music vibes up hill too along with superb views. We had a ball of a time here.

We had a great time tubing at the Activity Barn. We did the morning session and although it was cold in the morning - 15 degrees, it warmed up nicely and we had fun..even got hot towards the end. Staff was super nice and helpful. Overall was great fun for everyone including kiddos. Tubing runs were super smooth and plenty of speed to enjoy.

I'm glad we came here, it was a lot of fun. Play it safe and only go for an hour though-if an hour is almost up and you want to upgrade for two hours, they will only charge you for the two hour rate. The staff here were very nice and conversational, and they wanted you to have fun. The hill is really long, but you get to ride the lift to the top, which is kind of fun in itself. The tubes they provide are waxed and well maintained.

This would make for a great way to entertain the kids and keep them out of your hair for awhile. The place was safe and clean and not too busy when we were there.
