Topaz Lodge

We stayed one night in the RV park on our way back home. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and both were great. For dinner, we both had the chicken fried steak. Very good! Huge portions, so I took half of mine away for another meal. For breakfast, hubby had vanilla french toast, and I had biscuits and gravy. Both were great. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. No down sides at all.

Love this place. It is a great stop right by Topaz Lake. Cleanest restrooms in the world attached to the Casino. One of the few Casinos that don't reek of cigarette smoke 24/7

Stopped in on our way home to Vegas from Lake Tahoe. Lovely view. Casino has lots of different slot games and there is live games but they weren't open when we were there. The coffee shop has good food that is reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and attentive.

You can't get anywhere else. And what's on the plate when it comes is way better looking than the menu picture. The view over Topaz Lake this time of year put me into a trance. When I got to the room to sleep I was really tired and expecting to lay a runner of towels on the floor like other places that an 8 or a 6 in the name ... Nope
I thought they were under pricing for the quality. Shhhh remember the part about hideaway gems ??

Haven’t stayed in the rooms, but I have eaten inside the restaurant. It’s very delicious! I love their burgers and fries and the steak and eggs is also very good. The waitresses are super nice and everyone there is super sweet. This lodge is by the really pretty Topaz lake so sitting and eating with a view of the lake is fantastic. Overall, this place is a great place to stop by and eat lunch with your family! (There’s also a casino for anyone who’s interested)

Just passing by from long trip from Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe. This was just a quick lunch but excellent service and chicken salad. We had a spectacular window seat with an entire view of the lake!! So excellent. Really loved the friendly fun staff ... only name I can remember was Holly ( spelling?)

Only dined at their cafe, but it was great! We were driving thru Topaz and saw this beautiful lodge right on the lake. The country fried steak was fantastic! My husband had the fish & chips, he loved it. The wait staff was very attentive, and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be going back!

We stopped for lunch. The food was good. The view was Awesome. Great service.

This is the place to vacation. I give it a 5 stars. I been fishing and camping here sense the early sixty's. Everybody I have talk to really finds this a heart warming and relaxing vacation spot. You will have a great time guaranteed . The view from the restaurant is spectacular over looking the lake and the food is awesome. At night with all the lights and music you will really enjoy the entertainment. Fishing all around the lake and streams is what any fisherman finds in these Sierra Mountains really quite some great experience . During the summer months the lake is where it is swimming for hours. Have a great time and everybody enjoys a great Vacation spot. THIS IS IT. See you at the Lodge.

Maybe a bit dated but as I was working in the area I stopped in to eat I was pleasantly surprised at the friendly staff and very reasonably prices food. I had the fish sandwich and is was great! Fries were good too! Is this high class dinning? No. However good food with a pleasant atmosphere

I didn't stay the night there. But I did have dinner and gambled a bit. Dealers were amazing!

Great spot to.eat. stopped on my way to Lake tahoe. Pies were great chicken salad and kids cheeseburger hit the spot. Clean establishment ..

This is a very popular lodge. The inside is very rustic with paintings and antiques through the entire place. A wonderful spur collection hanging on the wall in display cases near the restaurant. This is amazing to see.
The casino is small but offers a great variety of games to play. Card tables are available but at designated times.
There is a bar with multiple televisions mostly for watching sports.
The restaurants, yes...two, the fancier one is downstairs. Never ate there, but I never heard bad things.
The restaurant upstairs has nightly specials and they are super. Prime rib, spaghetti...etc. Don't be late for prime rib night. They run out. The staff is great, hard working folks.
We've had dinner here approximately 20 times and have never had an issue.

Didn't stay at the lodge, but did stop for breakfast. The food looked so good that we had it all eaten before I thought to snap a few photos. Biscuits and gravy - Over the Top. Chicken Fried Steak, Gravy and Eggs - Off the Hook! Western Omelet - To Die For! If I didn't live all the way on the right hand coast of the US, I would stop here routinely for breakfast. The service was as good as the food.

We stayed in the RV park with full hookups while doing some of the emergency work from the heavy rain. The spaces are taken care of. We were able to fit an over 44 ft 5th wheel into the space with slides on both sides. The management is beyond accommodating and friendly. This is an awesome place with so much recreation for a weekend getaway. We will definitely be returning.

Loved it. It's the best place I have stated it in my entire life.

Stopped by the on the way home for a pulled pork sandwich. Hostess was super sweet and food was great!
