Great place to get a bargain on everyday clothes and accessories. Discount coupons on their website mean prices are outstanding. Highly recommend.

Went in for a new cologne, but with Alaska being Alaska the inventory for the product I wanted wasn't accurate. I didn't need to worry though. The sales associate who was working the fragrance department was overbearingly helpful in finding an alternate scent for me. And as it happens, it was also a scent that I had been looking forward to getting a larger size of anyway. Excellent service and a very satisfied customer was the end result 🙂

Found a suit I really liked for Valentines Day dinner. The price rang up for the regular price despite being marked on sale. I mentioned that to the cashier and she told me to show her the sale price and she'll correct it. I showed her, she fixed it and even offered me an extra discount (completely unnecessary, but definitely appreciated!!!) Very impressed with their selection and service!

The airline broke my luggage at the beginning of my 2 week trip. I needed a new one asap. The selection was large regarding style, size, color, and manufacturer. Some were on sale. Darlene helped get a great deal. Many, many thanks 😊.

Great selection on most things. Return policy for clothing is 30 days which is great because I could not decide on a dress for my brother's wedding so I was able to take both home.

Very happy with this store. It never disappoints. Plus they have great sales.

Been going here off and on for decades. If you're looking for deals on fashion, this could be the place. It kind of has everything. There are always some serious sales going on here.
You should check it out if you're looking for something cute and on sale.

They have a great dress selection at fabulous prices especially with a coupon.

Simple to shop here because hardly anything moves from the area. I think filling the walking areas with more items is a pain. When you're finished navigating the racks and tables you may need a cold drink or massage in the mall.

I had a great experience here a few weeks ago. Emma was my sales associate. She was friendly, fast, and so helpful! She helped me find some good sales for my niece's birthday.

I havent been there in years, and I returned some items and they were super friendly and curteous.

We went to have pictures taken of our family together at Christmas, in the Photo Studio. There was a total of 13 of us, and the youngest were 2 - 18 month old twins, a 2-1/2 year old child. The pictures turned out awesome! I was surprised how well they turned out since there were so many of us, and the little ones. I never thought they would be able to get one picture that would be good of all of us, but the girl who took out pictures was Great! She really did a good job keeping the kids attention, and getting them to all smile at the same time! She gets high praises from me!!! And I highly recommend them for pictures. They always do a great job and we always get great pictures!

Really a shame this huge JC Penny is closing. I think every staff member we encountered in a 40 min time frame was incredibly nice and helpful. Really reminded me of sales associates in the older days who went out of their way to help you even if you were just passing thru their department trying to find another. Pure nostalgia at this location. I have to admit I was ambivalent about visiting this department store walking in, but walking out I was really glad I shopped there. This JC Penny store is huge, and I'm guessing that unless there is another store to take its place that it will be missed by many Alaskan folk coming in to Anchorage to load up on stuff.

Lovely sales and super cute fashion. I'm having fun shopping around for my family's Christmas (as well as planning for winter!) I super appreciate the sale going on, and plan on buying plenty.

Buy JC Penny! Super deals. Support the business please. Little lacking in mens shoe sizes. Only because of shipping issue's beyond there control.

There sales are great and the kids always find clothes they really like. Everyone is friendly ,the store is clean . The only downfall is when the store is busy, there are not enough checkouts and the lines get pretty long.

Esther in the Salon has been doing my hair for along time now & she is fabulous, it was very busy today Saturday the 7th and all the other associates in the Salon & receptionists are so nice and friendly & they work very good ,& hard

Had to return a purse, did you know it take 2 days for the money to be funded back to the card? Who knew 2022 they have not figured this delay out by now!!!
