Great coffee. Great food. But be ready for a little wait in prime-morning time. Took us 30 minutes to get our food. But it was really good. Nice atmosphere inside. Free water. Cool music. On the way to the slopes. I got an everything bagel and it was way better than expected. And the iced coffee was amazing. Wish I got an XL.

I ordered a chai tea and it was very yummy. Kids each got smoothies. Strawberry and peach and loved those. We came back the next day and got them again. The girls working always had a smile on their face and super friendly. Highly recommend. Snickerdoodle cookie is pretty amazing too.

Cute little spot serving up pastries and yummy caffeinated goodness. Surprised to find one vegan option in their pastry case kept cold in their fridge display. Packed with a line out the door, many patrons working inside.

The best staff,attentive and kind. The food menu is always so great(I recommend the lox bagel & the iced caramel latte. My son enjoys the smoothies and burritos.☺), love it there💖✨great location with a selection of good quality coffee cups and other goodies. must stop by when in town!

They have the most fresh delicious pastries! I had fresh croissants, one was turkey pepper jack, and swiss jam. They were pretty Amazing...coffee was pretty good and there were plenty of spaces to set up your laptop.

Every time we go to Pagosa Springs, this is the place we start our mornings. The vibe is right, coffee is great and the food is excellent. They have so many varieties of drinks and pastries and sandwiches to choose from. Higher grounds is very nostalgic to me and cannot wait to visit again!

Great spot, great location, great coffee. Nice place to hang out with a good book or good friend or both. Very warm interior with lots of comfy places to sit. Baked goods looked good but didn't have.

From Phoenix, Arizona we ❤ visiting Pagosa Springs! Higher Grounds Coffee is quaint serving up popular coffee choices. All of the food is made in house and is delicious, even my husband likes eating here. Today we had a bagel sandwich, quiche, strawberry smoothie, drip coffee, then a gluten free zucchini muffin and cinnamon roll for the road 😋. We highly recommend stopping by!

Wow, that was good!! Ordered a simple bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit - good stuff for sure. The biscuit was main from scratch and was amazing.

It was moderately busy, but the staff had no issues performing as a team and churning out orders with quality - kudos!

Even more, there was a cozy atmosphere to kill a few minutes to get off the feet and take a rest for a moment.

What we love getting here is the avocado toast with pesto sauce. The staff are always friendly. Atmosphere is chill with great views.

I wish we had one of these in Dallas!! It’s such a cute place with a perfect balance of comfy couches & chairs as well as small tables, perfect for studying or work. There’s also a long table, great for collaboration!

I love that they also have a full food menu with many options for breakfast and lunch - even adult beverages.

My mom and I stopped in for breakfast and both had breakfast burritos. One is plenty for most. We had the sausage/egg/cheese. They also include black beans, tomatoes and green chilis so it has just a hint of heat (that might just be me because I’m a weenie)

We both got lattes, mine with lavender syrup (so interesting!). There’s an extensive list of flavors and milk options. I also love that they have regular coffee cups if you plan to hang out and don’t need a to-go cup.

Another perk - they have a fun assortment of retail items! Various reusable to-go cups as well coffee-table type books, decorative plates, planters w/ succulents, and more.

To top it off, the staff is friendly and helpful in making selections, as they also have exclusive recipes that may require explanations. 😊

Higher Grounds is a lovely coffee shop with friendly staff serving great lattes and delicious drip. They have an impressive bakery case, too!

Beautiful inviting atmosphere. Very friendly service. The breakfast burrito was delicious, and the green chili was to die for. I loved the cinnamon roll. And the house coffee hit the spot.

10/10 brunch experience! The food was fantastic, & was VERY fresh. Got a Veggie Wrap & a scone they both were amazing!
The baristas were super nice & even gave me a refill on my tea for no extra charge!
We will definitely be back shortly!

*I will say, prices are a bit steep, but you get what you pay for these days & in my opinion it all was 100% worth it!*

Chill coffee shop with great food options for those seeking a light meal. The coffee, tea, cinnamon bun, and egg sandwiches were all delicious. Would definitely come back if I were local!

I absolutely love her homemade banana bread.. I go there with my dog regularly and the coffee is perfect even the drip is fantastic. Thank you for making good quality food.. from one of the locals.. and by the way.. all the batista's are friendly and take very good care of you!!! Xoxoxo

Very nice spot. Not too pricey. I had an autumn fog which was SO delightful! I came back the next day for a second. Very nice staff and space.

Great coffee shop with a fun relaxing vibe. Cute gifts and trinkets for sale as well as delicious breakfast treats and pastries. Glad we found this gem while we were in town, we went back daily for lattes during our stay. Thank you!

Food menu is great and the coffee is absolute perfection. Staff is friendly even early on a Saturday :). Cute items in the store for purchase!
