Such a wonderful place! The people working there are so nice and act as though they are your friends and you are coming to visit them. Very convenient to beach access and walking and many restaurants. Each room is unique and comfortable. I will be back soon.

This place was the best hotel I have stayed at in a very long time everyone was so nice and friendly I loved the people up front and they made me and my girlfriend feel very welcome I didn’t feel any discomfort it was very good. The location is amazing 5 blocks from the beach it was amazing food everywhere next to it and parking is amazing right there I will definitely be going back soon..!!!!

My friend and I were on a girls trip that turned into a rainy trip so we decided to find a room at a hotel we could enjoy. We rented the deluxe king suite (I think that is what it was called) that has a private hot tub and let me tell you for the price we got a deal!! The regular tub in the rooms with the spa tubs is more than nice but this with the private hot tub was perfect! We sat in the hot tub (it is a covered patio) and watched the rain and drank some wine. I can’t wait to come back with my boyfriend for a romantic weekend here.

I loved this place! The people that run it are amazing and so nice! We loved the area it was in and how close to the beach it was! I highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely adore this place!! I got so scared reading reviews while looking for an inexpensive hotel in the San Diego area. This place is immaculate, everything is new and spotless but it has incredible charm, perfect decor. Huge bathtub and more than enough floor space in my queen room for me to spread out my yoga mat and exercise. I will be staying here every time I’m in the area. Truly a gem.

This hotel was a wonderful blend of quirky, artistic, and unique! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in April, and Les Artistes was part of what made the experience so incredible! Watching the sun rise and set on the ocean from our french doors was beautiful! If you want something a bit magical and out of the ordinary, then this is for you!

My husband and I loved our stay. Incredibly unique, warm, artistic, and inviting hotel. Prime Del Mar location with plenty of food and shopping within walking distance. We absolutely will return.

Stayed here in early August. Extra clean room. Had everything we needed. The lobby coffee in the morning was quite good. Easily walkable to the beach, restaurants and nightlife. John and Latana were very nice and welcoming. Parking was included in the room rate, as it really should be everywhere but it’s usually a ridiculous up-charge. Will definitely stay here again.

This has got to be the most charming and whimsical hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. I had a wonderful stay at the property this past weekend and I am so happy I came across Les Artistes. The hotel manager has got to be the most professional and kind gentleman who made my very brief stay so delightful. The location cannot be beat and the room is so lovely & has a nice native feel. I was sad to leave but I know I will be back again and I have already been spreading the good word to everyone I know.

My wife and I stayed a night here for our 18th Wedding Anniversary. (She found it!) It's an art inspired inn. It's small and just a bit back from Camino Del Mar. Nice art inspired decor to look at. I'm told each room is decorated differently. We were in the Diego room. Upon entering you're met with a Spanish-style fireplace with stucco type seating connected. There's a fridge, microwave, sink, sitting area and small closet. The bathroom is small bit nice. More art in there also. This a small room, approximately 15 ft x 20 with a small balcony with an ocean view. Lots of very artsy details all over the room including Spanish art with a Diego Rivera poster from the Norton Simon Museum. There are art details all over the place. Specially designed inlaid tile work. Details everywhere. A great place to stay!!

Loved everything about our stay. Our room, The Van Gogh, has the best view of the ocean from the bed! All of the little paintings, knick knacks, decorations and craftsmanship makes this place the best place to stay for miles. Comfy bed, great claw foot tub, and open vaulted ceilings with sky lights really makes the room feel open and spacious. 10/10 would recommend, will stay here again and maybe try out some of the different themed rooms. Thank you John for making our stay memorable.

This place is AMAZING. From the greeting and welcome, to getting my room, everything was easy and perfect. The queen bed room has a balcony and water fountain outside and its soooo relaxing which is what I was looking for. Location cannot get any better. LOVE IT HERE. An absolute gem.

This is a 2 star hotel because of limited amenities. You will need to bring your own coffee maker, eating utensils, cups, plates, paper towels etc. No room service (coffee and fruit in the lobby every morning)...fresh towels and linen changes upon request. What you do get is five star ambiance, beautiful grounds and views, "artist themed" rooms; ours even had a jetted tub! Our room # was "Gaugin". The staff; we met John and Natana, were very friendly and welcoming. We were there for 5 days and didn't want to leave. Parking was included. We are locals and are already planning another visit.

There’s no doubt it’s a quirky little place but our room was clean and well equipped. We had ocean views even in the shower. The two people I spoke to who work here were both very friendly. The one woman let us see several rooms so we could chose. No complaints.

Cutest little hotel ever! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, it is such a hidden gem. I stayed in the Van Gogh room and it was beautiful! I walked a few minutes from the hotel and was at the beach, great central location. I will definitely be back!

Really cute, artsy place. Not much of a view on the first floor but a nice garden patio. Showers are awesome, AC is old and in the wall but a really fun atmosphere! Wish they had a pool or jacuzzi

Las Artistes Inn is gorgeous! Their rooms are not only affordable for this area, but each one is individually decorated in superb fashion. Our room had an adorable deck off the back that nestles you amongst a lush garden with fountains and statues throughout. The rooms amenities meet all of your needs and the staff is both knowledgeable and hospitable. The showers are stone with marble tiles and the water pressure is perfect. I will definitely be coming back the next time I am in Del Mar!

This is a cute little place. Each room has a unique theme which dictates the decor and features (room size and bath/shower) which would make each stay a new adventure. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a break from everyday life. While it deviates from how most modern hotels are setup, there is WiFi and the managers offer morning coffee with fruit and/or a pastry.

We stayed in the premier suite and it was amazing! We had our own private oasis including a jacuzzi, bbq, large patio, fire pit and view of the ocean sunset! Very romantic and cozy. Managers are very nice and accommodating and make you feel like it’s your place :)

Fabulous! Several visits from me. Stayed in different rooms. All unique. Remember, this not the the 'four Seasons'. If you want you pillow to smell like Downey's, then bring a spray bottle. Unique by the beach is perfect alone. Peaceful, non-formal and happy.
