Marriott's Shadow Ridge I-The Villages

This was a 5-star experience. The rooms are spacious, have two full bathrooms, two large size bedrooms, a large family room, a full kitchen, and two nice size balconies. The golf course is awesome. Location is close to shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. Less than 8 minutes from the 10 freeway, casinos, and other golf courses.

I was recently here for a week with some friends and we all loved this resort. The staff were all so friendly, every time one of them on their carts would pass us they would wave and smile and say hello. Whenever we would go up to the front office or the gym or the pool, Everyone that work there was just so friendly and would remember us. The rooms were so clean, the pool area was so clean. They obviously take great pride in their workplace and want to keep the guests happy and it is very evident in how they conduct themselves. We would definitely visit here again!

We have been to this resort twice now and have enjoyed our stay both times! The staff are very friendly, the food and drinks are great, clean rooms and the views are spectacular. The only downfall is the Snake pool fire pit was broken and the TV has a broken panel so you cannot see all parts of the movie. We enjoyed playing pickleball in the tournaments they scheduled. We will be back!

This place has beautifully maintained property and the villas are nice and comfortable. We stayed during Hurricane Hilary and this resort must be recognized for the wonderful care they provided the guests, assuring you still enjoyed vacation, offering games to bring to your room and keeping you well informed as well. The staff were present during the storm servicing your needs! Pools were quickly opened after the storm and were clean. Great job Shadow Ridge staff and management team for handling the first hurricane to hit in 84 years. You were so well prepared and I felt very safe staying here. Been to this resort many times and always enjoy my here. They aim to please and want you to have a memorable stay.

Excelente place to stay. Friendly staff and clean resort. Beautiful pools and good activities for the guests. The only thing that lacked was a vending machine, wanted a Coke and could not get one.

Suits are wonderful and big. Full kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace, separate king bedroom with soaking tub, double sink. A separate bathroom with standing shower, toilet and sink. Washer and dryer was a plus.
Great balcony with table and lounge chair.

Only down side is no main restaurant but close to restaurants and shopping.

Will return soon.

Golf ⛳ 🏌‍♀ would be a primary reason to stay here. Good pools and a kids waterside.

In my opinion this place is better than Ritz in Rancho Mirage.

I have stayed at this property twice already in November and again in December. From the very beginning, my experience was exceptional. The staff is top notch, the property feels safe, and the community is friendly. There are so many activities on the property throughout the day, great options for dining, and a mini convenience store with Starbucks located in the main building. There are so many activities to partake in such as mini golf, basketball, golf, and tennis. The weather is perfect this time of year. People were outside grilling and enjoying each other‘s company, walking on the little trail, or riding around in their golf carts. Super cute. I especially love how clean each of my rooms were every time I stayed here. Everything was absolutely spotless, working properly, and adequately maintained. if the goal was to make everyone feel comfortable, a sense of community, well informed, and welcome, you definitely excelled. I was in town for business both times.

This place is awesome! You don't really ever even have to leave as there's shuttles that run you all around between the 5 or 6 different pools and a bunch of jacuzzi's, a gym with a sauna, tennis, basketball, pickleball and multiple barbecue spots too!! You won't be disappointed!!

Travel during peak season and "annual maintenance" is scheduled for the main pool aka Snakebites. Be sure to ask if there will be closures before booking an expensive hotel. Now, we're all going to be crammed like sardines in the other pools.

It’s amazing we spend the weekend here, my husband reserved a villa which had 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, washer, dryer, full kitchen, fridge. Pots and pans, plates and silverware. The kids really enjoyed the heated pool. Had the best customer service.

A beautiful place to stay, very clean and amazing staff. Great for families or adults only. The kitchen and bathroom can be updated. Truly enjoyed our stay and will love to go back.

Check in was easy with Rachel. Our room wasn't ready yet but they texted and called as soon as it was, within the hour. Any issues or questions we had all we had to do was text the number and they would respond within 5 min. Was a great family trip, we were there for 5 days, the villas were clean and they called after the 2nd day to see if anything was broken or not to our liking or if they could provide us with anything extra. The pool staff at the bar were always good to talk to. The grounds personnel worked hard at keeping the areas very clean and everything looked fresh. The adult pool was down but the pool next to it was opened, the kids loved the splash pad and the slides. Our youngest couldn't go because she wasn't tall enough, but she understood and made friends with other littles to keep her happy. There were always activities for family and kids at the pool, the free drinks for the happy hour social were a great plus!! The main restaurant was closed, but there are many places to eat within a mile or so. If you would like a good dine out stop in at Cork Tree, very good food and service.

Overall this was a great place to stay, we will definitely be coming back here again in the future!!

I just came back after staying to Shadow Ridge Villages for 3 nights. I, my husband and my 5 yr old enjoyed the stay. Best part on resort was their Activity center. My daughter just loved it, she spent lots of time doing all the actives they have. Staff was very professional and nice especially Activity center supervisor "Neira". She is very good with kids. Their pools are clean, Restaurant staff is good . Overall Stay was really nice. Family Friendly Place!!
