The Burg

Stopped in for lunch while in town for a meeting at the Creamery. Jeff was incredibly welcoming and his Smokestack recommendation hit the spot. Highly recommend.

Ate here in June 2023. Burger was delicious. Service was quite friendly. Waitress even gave me directions to the magnetic hill. The place could be slightly more homey, but the food and service made up for it. Highly recommended.

Was driving through and was looking for some good food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good portions and worth stopping. Ordered the Reuben for myself. My kids went to town on some mac and cheese and a cheese burger with fries.

I ordered a wrap and the garlic parmesan fries. All of it was wonderful. I love that they had root beer on tap. 5 out of five stars would definitely go again.

This place is a nice addition to Shullsburg and has been going strong for going on 10 years now! What a wonderful small town to call home.

Great place for a beer and burger. Dining area can get rather loud. Great service from the owner-jeff. Highly recommend stopping in for food and drink. GREAT LITTLE TOWN IT IS IN, A GEM.

Very fun little tap House. The staff was super friendly. They seemed a little understaffed but we were there to relax and not in a hurry. The food was very good

Always a great stop. We were here again on Oct 28, 2023 and food and service was outstanding as usual. Some interesting sport and rock band decor on the wall as well. We stop here every time we are in the Burg. You can't go wrong here.

We stopped on a whim traveling through to Galena for a girls weekend. Boy am I glad we did! Frosty spotted Cow on tap coupled with an amazing burger, parmesan fries and the very best service! We will stop again on our way home to experience other great items in the menu! We felt like we had been there a million times before we were so welcomed in. Thanks! See you soon!

We were there on a Fall ride there were 10 of us and everyone but one person received their food. Everyone had finished eating b4 her food came out. All she ordered and she was the first to order was a sandwich.

The Burg is a very nice bar and grill. Nice rustic interior decor. We had the grilled chicken special and it was very good like home cooking. Nice beer selection and overall comfortable vibe. lots of capacity. shirts and hats available.

We were served by McKenna and she did a great job, very friendly and did her job well. The flatbread and taco salad were great! I wouldn’t recommend the ham steak though. A good vibe and affordable menu. 👍🏻

This place offers a special on Fridays of bluegill. It's an amazing item offered with various sides and I had a reasonably sized baked potato and coleslaw as the sides. Service was exceptional and the restroom is immaculate. Every bit of detail in the decor reflects the quality of the food and the genius business decision to offer bluegill as a special on Fridays. There's room to accommodate any number of friends but I would recommend getting there early.

It was really busy and they told us it would be over an hour wait but we stayed anyway. Glad we did; the young gentleman that took our order was very attentive and we were impressed on how much he hustled. The food was amazing!
