Pontarelli-Marino have taken care of funeral services for my mom and dad and most recently my cousin. Danny and Mark are not just running a business but truly care about the families that entrust them with their deceased loved ones. They go above and beyond to make sure every single detail is in place. They are always there to answer questions or just to listen. I would never call anyone else. Thank you Danny, Mark and their entire staff for their compassion and professionalism shown through my cousins recent passing. The service was beautiful and we thank you for all that you did and continue to do.

I can’t speak highly enough of Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home. In particular Mr Pontarelli and Kyle J. Their personalized attention and genuine care and empathy was much appreciated at such a sensitive time for my family. They took the the time to thoroughly explain our options and the entire process, as well as willingly fielded the many questions we had. I went through the entire process feeling totally confident they had my family’s best interests top of mind. I would highly reccomend them. Thanks to the entire staff at Pontarelli-Marino!

My family has been using Pontarelli-Marino going back to 1980. Every time Dan Pontarelli has shown compassion, understanding of our needs, make the process as simple as possible and does not rush you to make any decisions. He does not treat the process as a business transaction, he uses this process as a way for closure and assists however he can. Unfortunately, I lost my Mother and my Brother both within 1 year of each other any Dan ensured that he met every one of my needs.
I find this funeral home to be top notch for there professionalism of Dan and Sarah. I could not of asked for anything more.
Thank you Dan

Dan Pontarelli and his team, especially Kyle Jameson, did an outstanding job arranging all of the details for my brother Bill’s cremation and funeral services. I am very particular about how I wanted this to proceed and they worked with me to insure that this was a wonderful tribute and send off for such a talented musician who had an impact on so many people. From providing a beautiful wooden urn that has a musical note on the front to suggesting that we display his coveted bass guitar, the Pontarelli Team are true professionals. They have handled services for a number of my family members and I wouldn’t go to anyone else in RI as they are in my opinion tops in the field.

I can't express enough gratitude to Dan and his staff for the beautiful final farewell for my Dad. We have received so many compliments from family and friends with regard to how every detail, large or small, was done in such a loving, yet professional way. The added attention and recognition they give to United States Veterans was especially important to me, as that was such a defining part of my Dads life. The way the entire staff was attentive to all our needs, the caring way they would check in to see if we needed anything, was very much appreciated. Each and every member of Dan's staff went above and beyond, from our driver, to the pall bearers to the members of the staff that assisted at church, I appreciate you all. A special thank you to Kyle, who along with his colleagues, kept his promise to give his Grandfather the beautiful tribute he deserved.

Dan and Sarah were so professional yet compassionate while guiding us through the planning of my mom's funeral. They helped us through this emotional process with kindness every step of the way. It's more than just business to them. They care. And it shows in all the details. Thank you .

When my dad passed away at 45, over 14 years ago the Pontarelli-Marino funeral home made his cremation seamless. I was barely 21 at the time and they helped me every step of the way. So, when my 32 year old little sister passed away 11/4/22 after a long struggle with cancer I knew this is where I wanted to go. Everyone on the team was incredibly kind and genuinely invested in making her loss as seamless as possible, especially when it came to the technicalities. Moreover, Dan took days to reconstruct her face (the tumor had taken over almost the entire left side of her face & towards the end when it broke off, she was missing most of her cheek and jaw). The work Dan did was so phenomenal we could have had an open casket ceremony. My sister is now buried with the beautiful face she longed for. I don’t know of any other funeral home that would have put in the effort and time he did to reconstruct her face. My entire family now remembers my sister as she was, instead of the devastation the cancer caused. Words can not due justice to what Dan and the team did for us. Every staff member I met with did not treat this like a business or sales transaction; they treated us like family. They took care of almost everything. The sympathy and genuine benevolence we were given will never be forgotten. I would not recommend any other funeral home. Funerals may be a business, but everyone who helped us showed true compassion & looked out for our best interest the entire time. What they did for my family was nothing short of a miracle and an act of true kindness. In fact, my 95 year old uncle is due to pass within the next week & again we will be utilizing their services. They showed the same kindness and compassion to my grandmother and aunt when they went in to make the plans for his service (unbeknownst to them that we were related). That proves their sympathy and empathy extends to everyone they do business with. For something so sad, they have created a beautiful experience for us time and time again. I highly recommend them to anyone planning the burial/cremation of a loved one. I cannot thank you guys enough for the joy you brought to my family in a time of such grief.

Planning our mother's funeral was by far the hardest thing we have ever done. The kind, compassionate, and professional staff at Pontarelli-Marino Funeral were exceedingly supportive and informative. Dan and Kyle sat with us and explained the entire process. We felt very good about our decisions in planning our mothers funeral and were given excellent recommendations for everything involved in the process. The day of the funeral was orchestrated efficiently and without a hitch. My mother looked amazing, we were so pleased with her appearance and the care and dignity she was given. We would whole heartily recommend Dan and his amazing staff at Pontarelli-Marino funeral home to see to your loved ones final farewell. If we could have given them 10 stars we would. I don’t even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home. I reached out when my brother was declining and Dan Pontarelli reassured me that they would take care of everything. When my brother passed, Dan immediately contacted us and we stopped by the funeral home a few hours later, on a Saturday. Dan and his associate Sarah were there to greet us. As we sat around the table, they just listened to us speak about our Brother and Uncle as they asked us specific questions. They gave us several options and never pressured us into doing anything we weren’t comfortable with. It was a very easy meeting considering the circumstances. When we left, Dan stated he would call me Monday morning after he spoke with the representative at the Veteran’s Cemetary. He did call and everything was all set. However, shortly after Dan called back and there was an issue with the cemetery. Both Dan and Mark Marino were looking into more options for my brother. In the end, the decision to have my brother buried with my parents (an option we hadn’t considered earlier) felt so right to our family. The services were beautiful and my sisters and I didn't worry about a thing. If there was an issue, it was never brought to our attention. We could focus on celebrating our brother’s life. After a few days passed, Mark Marino contacted me that my brother would be ready to be with my parents. Mark joined us at the cemetery and it was a great comfort to have him there. A few days later, Shannon called to check in to see how we were doing. Finally, the day I sat down to write this thank you the doorbell rang. The mail carrier gave me a package. Inside was a beautiful book that was a tribute to my brother. It has the photos from the slideshow and condolences and messages family and friends had sent. Truly beautiful. Thank you Dan and Mark and to all your staff. We can’t thank you enough for all you do! God Bless and continue to make this somber time for all a little bit easier.

Sincerely,

The family of Albert “Brother” Ristigian, Jr.

My experience with Pontarelli-Marino Funeral directors and staff was extremely comforting and reassuring at a time when I needed support and guidance.

Pontarelli-Marino funeral home made a traumatic experience extremely manageable. Dan and Sarah guided us through every aspect of the arrangements and gave us space and time to make decisions. They also made some great suggestions, but were always willing to work with what we wanted. The service was elegant, unique and beautiful just like my sister. It was the tribute she deserved! Most of our family has used Pontarelli-Marino and they never disappoint. We would recommend them 100%.
