Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toledo South - Perrysburg, an IHG Hotel

I gave the rooms 4 stars because of the lack of a hairdryer. Otherwise, they were clean, comfortable, & perfect for our stay. The front desk staff was very helpful & friendly. Breakfast provided many options. The location was fine. There's a great little Tex Mex restaurant very close that we highly recommend!

Good experience overall, Front Desk staff friendly, and the entire building looked pretty modernized. Good breakfast spread with tasty cinnamon rolls and pancake maker. Room itself is modern too (that had a couple stained patches on the rug, otherwise clean). Good experience.

Was in a nice shopping area. The rooms were clean and very nice. The beds were nice. Service was good. There was a free breakfast and they had lots of lobby seating

Aaron at the front desk gave the perfect, most fun greeting as a welcome to the hotel. I hope the hotel managers appreciate him, because we sure did!
The location was easy on/easy off from the expressway. The room was clean. We didn't have enough time to check out the pool. Breakfast was hot and the selection was decent.

Aaron from the front desk was amazing. He took me vacant room by vacant room through the hotel to find an accessible room ♿ with “the most bars ever” in the restroom. Then while I was informing my parents, he came back upstairs with their new room keys to ensure they were happy with the new accommodations. They were overjoyed by the room and the hospitality.

Nicely updated. The carpet needs cleaning.
My only complaint was the water pressure was a little too low in the morning.
Good breakfast options.
Staff was very nice and friendly.
They got me checked in promptly!

Kudo's to this Hotel. Very clean, nice hotel. Staff are awesome. But I have to give a shout out to Aaron, at the Front Desk. He knows his customer service, spot on. He was so good to my grandkids, 4 and 7 years old. He inter acted with them and had them in stitches. We felt so welcomed and we will be back again.

I usually come here for my BGSU doctoral residency’s and I can say Aaron at the front desk has the best customer service I have encountered, ever.

This stay (probably my 8th), there was a major issue with my room that I noticed on night 2. I called and within minutes they helped me move to another room within 10 minutes on a FRIDAY night with a bunch of baseball teams in town. They excelled at service tonight and I greatly appreciate Aaron and the other staff this evening.

Really brief stay. Hotel was clean. All the usual amenities in the room. Pretty good breakfast bar.
Quick and easy check in amd out. Very friendly staff.
Quite a few excellent restaurants nearby. Would stay again when in the area visiting.

I have to say I had an absolutely amazing stay at this location. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Although I would’ve loved to have some vegan option for breakfast I was still able to get a few fruits to keep me on my day. There was one mishap in which the staff missed some trash in the room but upon calling the front desk it was quickly remediated. I highly suggest checking out this location if you’re visiting a student at the local university or if you’re looking for a beautiful getaway. You can enjoy the many shops at Levi’s commons or explore downtown Toledo which is not too far from this location.

Everyone working at this Holiday Inn is very friendly. They are helpful and happy to be there.
The breakfast is good. They have a pancake machine that is fun to use.
The hotel is clean.
We stayed 4 days and the common areas were not crowded.

What a lovely place to rest after a long day of traveling! I didn't have a reservation, but they were able to accommodate me at 8:00 on a rainy night in a very comfortable room with two queen beds The hotel staff were kind and courteous, they found us a crib and brought it to the room, in the morning they helped me with getting my children breakfast. They had everything we needed in the room - microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, iron and ironing board, hair dryer - everything we needed! The breakfast was amazing - eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, pastries, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt - wow!
I didn't use the gym or pool, but they looked nice. And the most amazing thing was the price! $99! I couldn't believe it! Will definitely stay here again next time I'm passing through Toledo! Thank you so much for the night of rest for a weary mama!

When you first walk in the lobby it is clean and very inviting. The staff was great with a special shout out to Aaron, he was sooo nice and very accommodating to our request. He had a very positive attitude. The breakfast was good and covered all the basics for a quick breakfast. The room itself was also great! No complaints and would recommend if passing through Perrysburg/Toledo Ohio area.

Aaron at the front desk went above and behind for us. His customer service and the way he interacted with my kids was top notch.

Not sure why this is listed as a 2 ⭐ hotel. It definitely gets five ⭐ s from us. Aaron at the front desk was so amazing and kind to my kids. The room was clean with comfy beds and pillows. In the morning the kids asked if Aaron would be downstairs ❤. Breakfast is as good and included in the price. It was an impromptu stay bc of a power outage but we would definitely stay again because of the hospitality and just for fun. Do what you can to keep Aaron around Holiday Inn Express bc he is an asset to your company!!! He’s gonna move mountains in this world with his kindness!

Beautiful hotel. Extremely comfortable bed. Room has everything you need microwave, kuerig, hairdryer fridge. Sofa even pulls out if you need it!. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. We ate a late dinner at the restaurant and we were not disappointed! I had the parm garlic wings they were DELICIOUS!! My husband had a French dip which he really enjoyed. The staff in the restaurant is extremely attentive and very talkative. She offered to send unrest drinks with us up to our room which was extremely nice! Definitely a great hotel.

The staff was able to provide an early check in to allow me to attend the wedding I was in town for on time which was amazing. The entire staff was very polite, helpful, and quick at their jobs which led to excellent overall service. The lobby was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and had all the amenities one could as for. Great place to stay with in the area.

Loved this Holiday Inn Express. I stayed here with my boyfriend on a road trip from Chicago to New York. We’re IHG members and typically stay at Holiday Inn Express because the quality of the hotel is usually really good for the money. They’re a no-frills experience that feels a lot more luxurious than a motel. This one was exceptionally nice and we even decided to stay in the king bed suite with the separate living area. Perrysburg is a quaint and charming town with lots of restaurants and retail options. We had no idea! The room was gorgeous and clean (please excuse my unmade bed, I took that photo in the AM soon after waking), the view from our room was very pleasant, the staff was unbelievably kind (especially the breakfast staff who even came up to guests to encourage them to take whatever else they may want before they closed up the buffet), and there was even an outdoor patio accessible from the lobby dining area where you could also eat. My boyfriend and I sat outside and had a lovely morning. We want to make Perrysburg a stop for us next time we drive to the Midwest. Lots to do for couples and families alike and this Holiday Inn Express makes it even better!
