Cute little place! Has an antique feel and look but is very well kept. I had some of the ice cream they sell and it was very delicious. There isnt a bathroom right at the store but there is one across the road. There are also picnic tables outside that anyone may relax at. Very nice experience overall!

Perfect place to wind down after a hike. It's cool inside and there's a wide variety of ice cream (amongst other things) for sale.

The place to re-fuel on a long bike trip! Their credit card policy changed this year. Bring cash if you're not spending more than $5 there.

I ALWAYS stop here when hiking a full day in CVNP. It's honestly one of the most convenient places within the park to grab lunch! They have a variety of healthy deli sandwich options, small trail snacks, and even ice cream!
This is not a full service restaurant, but it truly is the most convenient if you're not wanting to hit the interstate to find something else.
Oh, and did I mention the awesome National Park gear and swag you can purchase there?? Great place and great service with a smile, and wonderful outdoor area to sit and enjoy your snack and a rest.
This is located right off the towpath, near restrooms and parking....so always worth a stop.
I also recommend checking out the nearby open garage/barn across the street that often times showcases local art in the seasonal months!!!

Go in just to say hello to David and ask him for hiking recommendations. He won't steer you wrong. Great snacks and fun things to look at; a wider selection of park pins and patches compared to the small visitor center shop. This park is special; come visit!

Great place to stop for a snack while biking! They sell a wide selection of snacks from healthy snack bars to ice cream treats.

The trail mix stocks a nice selection of ice cold drinks. They also have ice cream bars, sandwiches, ice cream cookies, etc. and Mitchell's Ice Cream! They also have other snacks and park stuff for sale. Always friendly staff.

We stopped here after camping at the nearby national park and were so glad we did. The shopkeeper, David is so friendly! The selection of food items was great and healthy.

Cute little shop in which the proceeds go to the National Park, great place to get ice cream, has Adirondack chairs outside with shade for sittin' and plenty of parking right next to a great park.

Surprisingly good lunch options and great ice cream. Very nice picnic area if you brought your own food.

4.5 love this place is stop in for a pop about one a week as we finish our five to ten mile hike...nice place to sit in the shade and cool off before we leave
