Waterville Hardware & Paint

We moved out of Waterville, but we will never stop coming back to Waterville Hardware. They are the nicest people and have always been able to help us. I just left there. I couldn’t get something to work right and I first thought to go see them to see if they could figure out what I was doing wrong. They did. In the fall, they ordered extra product for a project we had just so it would be available if we needed more. We are so appreciative! Dave and Kelly.

I’m not very handy and I needed something to unclog my shower drain. The women working immediately greeted me and was so friendly! She got me a hair snake, and some stuff that dissolves hair within 10 minutes. She was so helpful! Definitely beats me going to a big box store for help.

The first hardware store I go to when I need something. The workers are full of knowledge and are very welcoming. It’s everything a small town hardware store should be.

Owners are the most helpful and nice people you could ask for. I don't know a ton about home repair and when I go in and poorly explain my situation, they always find just the right part to help me out. Great selection and fair pricing.

If you're looking for a good hardware store, look no further. Waterville Hardware & Paint is a great spot. Every time I go here, I've received knowledgeable help that I simply couldn't get from the other big box home stores. Also, great if you need custom plumbing parts. The associate that helped me walked me through exactly what I needed to cap off a copper propane line and it worked like a charm. Highly recommended!

A Christian owned business with amazing customer service... The owner always talks to us and helps us find everything we need and has so much knowledge to give. One time my sister and I were painting a room and we purchased our paint from there, and we grabbed a couple of paint rollers too... The owner saw the paint rollers we were purchasing, grabbed a more expensive version off the shelf and told us they would work better for our project and swapped them out for the cheaper rollers without charging us any extra! We really appreciate how they go the extra mile there!

Staff is very knowledgeable. Decent selection. If you have questions about something this is definitely the place to go. Those big box stores might have more stuff. But the staff here definitely knows what they're talking about and can get their hands on anything you want. Plus I like to support local as much as possible and their friendliness makes it very easy to do so.

Lucky to have such a reliable hardware store in our area! Staff greet me promptly and are very friendly. My many visits there over the years were primarily associated with paints, stains, and related supplies. Staff are impressively knowledgeable about their products! They listen to the details of my project plans and provide me educated options tailored to what I need. They don't push top dollar items or extra supplies not needed. They have saved me money a couple times pointing out sales or bundled kits that I overlooked. I highly recommend this place hands down!!!!!

Great store, friendly service, always! Most items are the same price or cheaper than Home Depot or Lowes. You don't have to walk through 3 acres of real estate and have someone page overhead for a junior associate in training. These folks greet you when you walk in, help you find just what you need, make sure you have just the right items and help you carry things out if you need. Never had a bad experience at Waterville Hardware.

Every time I stop in to grab something for the house, somebody comes up to me within 5 minutes and asks if I need any help finding something. They always present me with different options to help me solve the problem I'm trying to fix as a homeowner, and provide recommendations and guidance based on their own experience and what other customers have purchased in the past. I greatly appreciate the high quality customer service and convenience.

Superb service and prices here. Always quick to help and they offer so many quality items. Just a great place to get all your hardware needs locally instead of drudging to one of the big box stores unless you like standing around waiting for someone that "might" know what they are doing. Service, quality, friendly and a smile - all rare these days yet you get it at Waterville Hardware. Thank you for being such a great community driven business.

Local Hometown hardware store. The employees we're a very friendly I was greeted when I came in I was asked if I needed help almost immediately. Very clean store that had all the stuff you can find at the big box stores for the most part. Support local businesses

I turned a Ram Promaster into an RV. I was able to get almost everything I needed for electrical, plumbing, metal rails, and fasteners here. They also took their time to help me modify from one size to another on various pipes and tubing. The owners are incredible and kind (and patient!). They were able to make suggestions on how to make something work or fit when I was stumped. They were able to order a grating that I needed for my generator. They are truly my go to!

Best all around advice you can get, doesn't matter what the project, husband and wife team are very knowledgeable and very helpful! God Bless!
