Excellent food and atmosphere! Can't go wrong sitting outside by the water and marina. BYOB is nice too. They will give you glasses and wine opener if needed. Sweet thai chili calamari, fish and chips, clam strips, mandarin orange salad with mahi and coconut shrimp was enjoyed by all!!!

Jim's is always our first choice down in East Matunuck. Yes there is a much fancier place up the road if that's what you want but the view here with the boats sailing by can't be beat. This small family operated business is just amazing. They've got all the basic fried beach fare and recently added a couple of targeted health conscious dishes. Again, this isn't a fine dining restaurant but an excellent after the beach come as you are dining location. They do not serve alcohol but you can bring your own.

I came across this place this past summer while in R.I. for beach day.
This is a great waterside place to grab a bite.
I sat out on the dock and enjoyed their lobster roll. It had lots of lobster meat and was very tasty. I also liked that I had the option to sub the side of fries for fresh cooked veggies for a small upcharge. ($2)
I'd definitely come back again.

Jim’s Dock is a causal harbor-side restaurant specializing in fresh seafood. They have a small indoor dining area and a very large deck that overlooks the docks and Snug Harbor. Their menu is seafood focused but there are also vegetarian and non-seafood options to cater to all tastes. It is a BYOB restaurant, which is great. It is a family friendly restaurant and if you have a large party I would recommend you make a reservation. 2023 marked their 51st year in business.

Courtney was an amazing waitress! She suggested the scallops served over fresh seaweed, which was fantastic! The table had Buffalo shrimp and calamari to start and all took bites of the lobster roll! Thank you for another unforgettable summer experience at Jim’s Dock!
A+++

Jim's Dock is a wonderful place to go on a nice summer day. It is near a fee boat docks and overlooks Point Judith where the Block Island ferry docks. The food was delicious. I had the fish and chips. The fish was fresh and lightly fried. The potion was large. My wife had the Mahi Mahi tacos. They were also fresh and delicious! Service was wonderful!

This is the first time I have ever posted a review....but, the lobster roll from Jim's Dock was amazing!! It was chuck full with delicious lobster and could have easily fed two of us! Next time, hopefully soon, my husband and I can each get a cup of their chowder and split a lobster roll. Looking forward to my leftovers tomorrow!

Small little dock, great for jumping off of, it just stay on the beach, both are cozy, as always be careful of how fast the water flow t when you're jumping into the deep part

We found this gem just driving around and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I didn't read some of the reviews first. It was delightful!! The servers were excellent and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious!!!
We loved the location! It was so nice sitting outside and watching the boats go by. It was fun being across from Galilee for a change.
We would highly recommend this place!!

Delicious food. Morgan, our server, did a great job. Very pleasant spot on the harbor. BYOB saved us $$.

My family has been going here for years. It is one of my favorite restaurants! It's BYOB, which is a huge plus! Their white chowder is amazing, and I can't go through a summer without a Fighting Fluke sandwich or 2. Ask for extra tartar, portions are generous!
Wait times can be long on weekends, but you're right on the water, so grab one of their Adirondack chairs and open that bottle of wine you brought!

Great place to sit on the water and enjoy the absolute freshest of seafood. BYOB if alcohol with meal is desired. Quite reasonably priced. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day then weekends till Columbus Day weather permitting.
COVID EDIT: Reservations are required during this time of social distancing as well as mask use until your food has arrived.

Party of 7; had a great time, the wait wasn't as long as expected, BYOB which was nice, no cork fee and the waitstaff was delightfully chipper. Parking may be your only trouble, we left our cell number on the windshield in case we had to move for the person parked in front of us but before we went in they were ready to leave and we could park in the front and ended up with no one behind us upon departure. I had the crunchy flounder and loved it, freedom fries were great and the slaw did not have much sauce which I'd say makes it appeal to more customers. Everyone else enjoyed their meal thoroughly, I can't wait to go back!

Had so much fun eating outside. Love the BYOB concept. Had peel and eat shrimp and it was great! Service was so-so, but they were extremely busy, and we were not in a rush. Server was very friendly.
