Cascade Valley Metro Park - Overlook Area

This Path is a paved, short, easy walk or roll to get here. It's lovely for a little stroll to relax my Dogs and Myself. It's All wheelchair Friendly, because it is paved and well kept. It's not too Hilly either if Your chair isn't powered. It's about a half mile trail, with Beautiful Views of the Valley. This is one of our favorite places to go on days that I'm not able to walk very well, or if it's in the middle of the day and we don't have too much time. There is a restroom stationed at The Parking 🅿 Lot, as well as a map of the area.

Super beautiful. The overlook was awesome. Only downfall is that it is small so you almost have to take turns and feel rushed when you do get out on it.

Cascade Valley Park has a new trail. Easy, along the river. Beautiful vistas. Pics are the nearby overlook. Dramatic!

The park leads into two trails with a beautiful overlook and a nice escape from the buildings and streets around.

The view of the water from atop is gorgeous, and absolutely worth coming here and walking even just the mild path.

Half mile paved trail. Pretty flat the entire way. The overlook is very nice and scenic. Restrooms available. It does connect to other trails if you would like a longer hike.

Very easy and flat trail that is paved. There is a connector trail heading into the valley that will loop back as well.
Almost entirely shaded, so a great trail on hot some days.
This is our favorite metro park trail to hit with the family.

It's overcast and gloomy this trip but the short hike to the overlook was nice and worth the drive to get a few pictures. The main trail was paved but I saw others that were just dirt trails as well. It's a bit muddy but just wear some hiking boots and that will cover your feet enough. I'm going back when the weather isn't as gloomy.

Absolutely lovely, 2 mile hike down the gorge and back up. It has a nice uphill hike portion on the oxbow trail.

Very nice smaller metro park. The Overlook is beautiful. This part is a smaller paved loop trail but connects to the Oxbow area by way of well kept natural trails. There are stairs if you take this route. I really like this park.

Beautiful view of the river and valley. Only a short walk from the parking lot. Very easy, smooth, paved trail for a half mile (with optional trail offshoots to make a longer hike). Bathroom at trailhead was well maintained, included a changing table and drinking fountains. Highly suggest stopping here for a short hike to take in the view! Autumn would be an especially beautiful time to visit!

The Overlook trail is a paved 0.5 mile loop. Halfway through is a gorgeous lookout. There is a bathroom at the entrance, as well as supplies for dog owners. It is the perfect spot for a short walk with your dog. I would recommend for folks with limited mobility or wheelchairs as well. It’s beautiful and worth a stop even though it’s a short distance trail.

I love walking here in the morning, the view is great at sunrise! The path is always clean of litter, and you can usually see a few deer walking around

This trail is short and sweet. A multi-access trail meaning it is paved and flat so all types of people can walk the trail. You can also get a view of the Cuyahoga Falls River from the overlook dock/deck. Because of the paved trail, it is a trail that can be done in multiple seasons and all sorts of weather.

Overlook Trail is an easy 1/2 mile paved trail with a very high overlook deck at about the half-way point. Most of the trail is shady and wooded. Very peaceful.

It is always so quiet here, and the people on the trail are so nice and respectful. The overlook to the river is so beautiful, especially at sunset.

A wonderful, flat trail that makes for easy walking. I even saw a deer while walking the trail. The trail is very shady which is nice for summer days.

Gorgeous overlook accessible by all, but also has a more rigorous hike included.
