Went for brunch and the food was delicious. Best chicken and waffles I’ve had! Mimosa flight was nice and the breakfast pizza was also tasty. It was pretty busy noon on Sunday, so a reservation is a good idea if you’re looking for brunch.

First time here. Went for lunch on a Tuesday around 11:15am and there was plenty of seating. We ordered a sangria flight, salad (big enough to share) and the goat cheese dip to start. We also ordered the Primo (sausage, pepperoni, mushroom) and the truffle mushroom pizza. Everything was delicious. I would order everything again and we had plenty of leftovers.

Kevin Bacon Pizza is the best 😋 Wine list was awesome! Beer list was limited. I would like to see more craft beers. We'll be back.

This is an excellent pizza place; above average. The food is very tasty! It has some great appetizers as well as a great list of gourmet pizzas.

The best is the extensive wine list! As its name states, you can just go for a glass or two of wine.

The service is very friendly and prompt. The prices are reasonable. It is wheel-chair accessible.

Such good pizza! I highly recommend the truffle shuffle if you're a mushroom fan. Ugh, I could eat that pizza every day and never get tired of it! My one complaint is that they are always super busy. Of course, this means you're getting good food though, right? Anyway, call ahead for a reservation or you'll be looking at an hour wait for a table!

I would also strongly recommend going for brunch! The drinks are fantastic.

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner at Basil Pizza and Wine Bar. There were plenty of options for her as a vegetarian and me with a gluten free diet. They made a delicious gluten free rising crust and the mama Lou pizza was very flavorful. The Brussels sprouts were flavorful, crispy, and the feta cheese put them over the top. We also had a Moscow mule flight with flavors that were sour cherry, cranberry hisbiscis, pomegranate, and raspberry. It was very flavorful and a nice compliment to our meal. Our waitress was excellent, checked in on us regularly, and made sure we had a great meal. We highly recommend Basil Pizza and Wine Bar.

This Basil restaurant is absolutely perfect, they have a great selection of wine to pair with your meal. Their appetizers are unbelievably great and then the entrees were fantastic. Such great flavors. Oh and had to get a dessert.

I specifically went here for Sunday Brunch and the experience was fantastic. I tried quite a few dishes around our table and I'd personally recommend trying their hot honey chicken. They had a small-old-timey band playing which was nice. Definitely call ahead and make a reservation. The service was top notch, and they also had a fantastic drink selection. Check it out if you're in the area.

Had a excellent night out with close friends our server April was really good and funny. We had lots of appetizers and entrees and shared everything. The Kevin Bacon pizza is really good we also got cheese tortellini and the chef special ravioli and had 2 bottles of wine. The Street corn toast was my favorite dish of the night. We will all be back at some point.

Wait time - 4/5
Customer service 5/5
Atmosphere - 5/5
Cleanliness - 5/5
Taste 5/5
Cost - 4/5

This was my first time coming to this place and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was capable of entertaining a nice date night or just a casual brunch. The Kevin bacon pizza was incredible. The crust was crispy/well textured and the different types of bacon was perfectly balanced amongst the whole pizza. Flavor wise it was a 5/5. The sangria flight (pre pizza) was also incredible. Hands down the ride the Tiger sangria was the favorite out of the bunch. I will be returning.

I accidentally dropped my entire pizza on the ground immediately (out of pure clumsiness) and the manager insisted on making a new one for free - which is extremely nice considering it was entirely my fault!

Baked brie was fantastic, and the pizza was very good. Good wine selection both by the glass as well as bottle. Very reasonable prices considering the quality and quantity of the food and drinks being served.

There was also a live acoustic guitar/singer playing at lunch time. Music was very chill and not intrusive/too loud, so you can still have a conversation with your table.

Great experience, will be back again!

Our first experience at Basil was 9/4 in the afternoon. We got seating out on the patio, and enjoyed live music by Chris Knopp. We each got a flight of 4 wines - I got all reds and my husband got all whites. When one of my selections wasn't available, the waitress was very knowledgeable and offered a comparable (and in the end, better) option.

The food was fabulous. We shared a muffeletta sandwich, and the small charcuterie board. The sandwich was the best we've had outside of Nola, and the fries were perfect! The selection of cheeses on the charcuterie board were to die for, and included a very spicy cheese that was amazing with the apricot jelly.

The manager was exceeding sweet and comped our desserts because it was our anniversary. We got the chocolate cannoli (pairs amazing with a good red wine), and the salted caramel gelato, which has surprise chocolate caramel bites inside.

We were so in love with this place we came back for brunch the next day! We got there early, so it wasn't very crowded. Again, they had live music, this time inside, that had soft jazz vibe.

We ordered drinks (black hole sun, and strawberry mimosa mule), the monte cristo madame, the stromboli, a side of apple wood bacon, and a bagel with jam. The sandwich was so rich and delicious. The eggs over top were cooked perfectly and the yolk ran down the sides when sliced into. The stromboli was also delicious, the marinara being absolute perfection!

My only complaint from breakfast would be that my bacon was a little chewy, but I didn't specify that I would have preferred crispy so that's on me.

I cannot rave enough about this place! Skip the bigger name places around Perrysburg, and spend your money here. The atmosphere is great, the service is stellar, and the food is to die for.

Great atmosphere Amazing menu and flavors to taste! Crab Eggs Benedict didn’t disappoint… green heirloom tomatoes lightly sautéed provided the base of each crab-cake which offset the sweetness of the crab…wonderful!! I hate sweet crab cakes, never taste the freshness…anywho, no binders that interfered with the true taste/ fingerling mashed potatoes/Corsini coffee

Amazing food, beautiful place. The staff were all extremely nice. Decent vegan options. The truffle shuffle pizza was excellent! Definitely coming back. It was extremely busy the Saturday I was there but our food came out decently fast

The Moscow Mule flight was delicious! I also had the calamari, OMG! so good. Our waitress was great! It was a very busy night, but we were taken care of as if we were the only people there.

This was our first visit to Basil, as part of Restaurant Week. I was really excited to try their Restaurant Week menu offerings! My partner started out with the Calamari, which was lightly battered and fried to perfection. You could tell it was fresh as it was soft, tender and didn't have the "rubbery" texture that old calamari will have. I ordered the Street Corn Toast which was an explosion of southwest inspired flavors. The adobo creme friache had just the right amount of spice. For entrees, my partner ordered the Truffle Shuffle Pizza and I ordered the Scallops over Risotto. His pizza had a perfectly crispy crust and a decent amount of toppings. My scallops were buttery and melted in my mouth. Again, I could tell they were fresh as they were not the least bit tough or grainy. For dessert, he had the Vegan Chocolate Cake and I had the Chocolate Cannoli. The cannoli were a great finish to my meal. My partner enjoyed his cake, however he was a little disappointed that it wasn't the caramel cake that was part of the Restaurant Week menu. His was served with a Raspberry drizzle and topped with hazelnuts. Our server did not make us aware of the substitution. I did the wine pairings with my meal, which was an additional $20 for three pairings. Their sommelier, Mike Gregg obviously knows what he is doing, because the pairings were true perfection! The staff was adhering to Covid-19 guidelines, however, the restaurant did fill up quickly for dinner and was a little crowded by the time we left. We made an early dinner reservation which I highly suggest.

Staying overnight nearby. Walking distance from hotel. I am a food snob and good cook, so travel food can disappoint. This place does not disappoint!!! Reasonable, fantastic pizza, we had the mushroom truffle shuffle...something. it was freaking delicious. The caesar was terrific! Wine selection GREAT. Service was exceptional. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! FYI, my neice is a Michelin star chef...I know good food.

High energy, busy place with excellent service and delicious food. We had the chicken soup of the day with duck fat...great flavor, not greasy. And chicken picata that was served unexpected on bone but delicious flavors .

Great food and service. Will be back. I got the minestrone soup, the Queen margarita pizza and a butterscotch desert. All of the food was great.
