Holiday Inn Express & Suites Youngstown (N. Lima/Boardman), an IHG Hotel

I had to halt for a night on my travel to MN, and stopped for stay. I was here for a night and took a king room. Maintenance of the room is good. They also had the complimentary breakfast in the morning from 6:30 to 9 am with scrambled eggs, cereals, apple cinnamon rolls, homefries, toast, butter, jellies, etc. Coffee, hot tea, chocolate milk are also available. Apart from food, they had free wifi as well. Restrooms were clean and neat but the washbasin wasn’t good, water wasn’t going through it. And also there wasn’t toothpaste available. They had IHG membership card acceptance. Good parking space.

We stayed here because we were in town for a big wrestling tournament. The rooms were nice. The phone in the room didn't work but that was my only complaint. We had to be at the tournament before 7, and breakfast didn't open until 7. The lovely staff had opened a little early for the families that had to be at the wrestling tournament. The staff was very nice and welcomed any requests I had. Good hotel with a great staff.

In the last 20 years of traveling, I've stayed in just about every kind of hotel there is, and mostly good ones. I've been here for several weeks, because I'm so comfortable I just don't want to leave. Google lists this as a 2 star hotel for some reason, but I would definitely rate this hotel as at least the higher end of a 3 star. The rooms are beautiful and have all the nice touches you'd expect from a 4 star hotel--fancy sheets and blankets, stylish furniture, a nice jacuzzi bath, a clean laundry that works well, fresh delicious coffee downstairs, and a Kurig if I don't want to leave the room, and all in a very clean and attractive atmosphere, in an nice placid wooded area.

The manager Jennifer runs a very effective staff that actively anticipates everything I need. In those rare times when I do have to ask, they respond immediately, and with an attitude of anxiously wanting to help, and really caring whether I'm satisfied. Samantha has a delicious breakfast waiting reliably every single morning, and Robert, Todd, and Maureen are always there when I need anything, day or night. They answer the phone promptly, they handle any request in minutes, and the entire staff constantly projects an air of both formal professionalism and approachable friendliness.

I have very rarely stayed in a hotel where I can't find a single thing to complain about, so this hotel gets 5 stars--a rating I don't think I've ever given before.

I absolutely would stay here again and again. Jen was a great example on who belongs in the Travel and Tourism business. Clean rooms, awesome breakfast included and so convenient. Jen, thank you for all you do to keep the travlers happy. This place is a keeper!!!

Staying at holiday inn is always overwhelming…must stay property at a given price range…staff is helpful and cooperative…

My husband and I stay here once a week for work. Robert and Moreen are the BEST employees and treat you like family. Rooms are clean, as well as common areas. Breakfast has a great variety of options. We love this Holiday Inn Express

Stayed here back in July of 2019 while looking for real estate. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The morning breakfast was nice although would get crowded up pretty fast. All in all I have no complaints and I'm glad I stayed here.

Clean room with good accommodations. Price is a little high for the area but not unreasonable. The pool and fitness room were small but useable. Breakfast was the standard weak fare that most free breakfasts are. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming!

Excellent stop after cold and tiring trip. Wonderful staff; super nice. Clean rooms. Soft pillows, towels, sheets and blankets. Keurig machine in the room; loved it. Full breakfast bar with great selection. Nice gym. Didn't visit the pool this go round.

I had the priviledge of staying at this Hotel for the last almost 3 weeks for work. "Lisa" at the front desk, made the visit extra special. She gave a caring welcome each time she saw me and welcomed me "home" by name! They have a welcoming board for card members! It was nice to see my name on the board each day I came in... The house keeping team were also fantastic! The only downside to this stay is that they were experiencing wifi troubles. I needed to call a # twice to get service during my stay...

The room was clean the beds were big and comfortable. The breakfast was well thoughtout they had a variety..fresh fruit (bananas & apples), oatmeal (with toppings), turkey sausage, mini egg omelette with bell peppers, pancakes (come out of a machine too rubbery for me), pre-boiled eggs, yogurt, milk in cartons (like when u were in school), cold cereal, juice (in a machine) and fresh baked cinnamon rolls among other things. The service desk was friendly and the Wi-Fi signal was fine.

Great hotel! We stopped here because the location was right and the price was good. We were happily surprised to find they had an excellent breakfast buffet that included an automatic, one button press, pancake maker and fresh warm Cinnabons!

The room was great and there's a pool and business center too.

The hotel was clean and well tended. The service was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. The next time that we stay, we're going to be sure to use the pool. I recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the area.

Very clean, very accommodating. My father had to pay for my room over the phone because I was traveling & ran low on cash. They accommodated my circumstances very well. Not the cheapest place by far but great service, clean rooms & a wonderful breakfast in the morning.

Do not count on your room being available when you arrive. I drove 11 hours with kids from 3 different states to arrive and find out they rented my room even after receiving my email confirming my reservation they said they tried to call me but had my # wrong. But didnt tru to email me. When I made the reservation they took note we would our room out anyway all other hotels where full had to b a.But rented it out from under use anyway. Had to drive 30 miles to find another room.

Visiting from Seattle, WA. We brought my neice here for the night before going on a day trip. She loved the pool! Very clean and comfortable rooms with restful sleep in the cozy beds. Lots of choices for a complimentary breakfast. Thanks!

Nice hotel, had a problem with the TV working in my room but other than that it was a pleasant stay. A few bars/restaurants within minutes of walking distance from the hotel. We were having a problem with our rewards points and the lady was more than happy to help us with the issue. Great experience.

About the same price as the full size Holiday inn. Just about as nice though, just a less desirable location than the one off of 224. Like, you look out the window into like a junk yard. But nice beds, pillows etc. Very clean. Would stay again if needed.

Well situated off the Ohio Turnpike exit and back away from the road. The staff lived up to the high expectaion I have come to expect from IHG. The room was newly decorated, quiet, and comfortable, especially the bed. The breakfast items were kept fresh and well stocked. The breakfast area was kept clean.

Excellent! Best breakfast! Soft hot cinnamon buns! Dolly kept it clean and well stocked! Would stay again. All staff was friendly and helpful.
