We Lov Pets - Mt Vernon

This is now my main pet store. They have a wide variety of animals that all look well cared for. They keep their Bettas in little aquariums, not little plastic cups. You can tell the Bettas are young. They're small. You never know how old the big ones in cups at other stores are.
They have a great stock of supplies. I've never not found what I needed there. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. All of them I've spoken to keep animals and are passionate about them. We've shared pics on our phones like pics of kids.
Choose this store for your pet needs. You will not regret it.

Great place to get all your pet supplies. Excellent selection of food, toys and accessories for your pet. They also have a wide assortment of animals for purchase including reptiles, birds and other small pets. The staff is A+, always helpful and friendly. This is our go-to place for everything our pets need.

Nice clean location, friendly staff. They have a small tropical dish section in the corner. Prices were reasonable for the location. Would recommend

We Luv Pets is the pet store I most often choose. The staff is polite and helpful and they usually have what I need in stock. The prices are affordable and the animals are well treated.
I also like the in-house grooming done by Candise Martin. She did an excellent job on my pup, Colter and I recommend her services!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well kept store. I just went for some supplies but their Degus are so cute I might have to go back for a couple.

Always a great store, prices for the products they sell are reasonable. Have a huge variety of pet foods. We go primarily for a rabbit the selection of hay, food, treats and other supplies is great. Would highly recommend. Staff are always friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgeable.

This store is great! I have to say I had driven past it a few times... the storefront branding made me think it was a discount pet store. But i got on google maps and saw an owner's cat pawing at an aquarium lol and aisles of dog stuff! They have literally everything you might need compared to chain pets stores.... and yes, the internet has more options.. technically.. but this store brings the best of internet options that have already been weeded through! For example, need a dog ramp? This store actually has one! Looking for new treats for your senior dog that are fun and exciting? This store actually has them! The staff are super friendly too!! I will probably be back again this week lol.

Part of our four paw family requires sensitive stomach food. I haven't been in the store in several months. We had been getting the food at another store (not the new one in Mt. Vernon)... Needing some fish food I thought I would stop by and also see if they had the speciality food.. They did and reasonably priced. Talking with the clerk I mentioned how difficult it can be to find and was told they could just order it for me. Went in today to get it... Great service and will be back to order it regularly. Thanks to the great staff!

Awesome family-owned business competing with some big chains including Tractor Supply at the opposite end of their strip mall location, Petco just 1/2 mile up the road.

Every one there are very kind and courteous. Very knowledgeable about the products as well. I have Lung and rib bone cancer and the Lady that checked me out, carried my dog food right to my car. They are and always have been " My Pet Store "

I love this place. We stop a lot just to look at animals. Today we played with a bunny and their resident mouser, Wembley. Even if we are not in the market to make a purchase, we always stop to help enrich our children's lives as well as the staff and animals at this amazing business.

Good store staff are friendly. Took time to slow the little one a snake and let her pet it.
Had good info on what to use on our dog's ears.
Good selection of foods.

Candise is the best dog groomer! She works quickly and is communicative so that my (very anxious) dog won't need to be crated ❤❤❤ She does a great job. Worth the half hour drive!

Our whole family absolutely loves We Lov Pets! We have gotten several animals here as well as supplies. The staff are always kind and curious as well as very helpful. We recommend everyone here as opposed to the Big Box blue and yellow store...

You can find just about anything you need for your fur babies or any other kind of pet you might have. Very clean and isles are very well organized. I do think that they need to price their larger items individually so your not shell shocked at the check out. They are a little pricey!

My daughters Degu desperately needed a buddy! Were told at our local We ❤Pets at time of purchase he'd be fine alone WRONG this causes them to be stressed an destructive! So I've been waiting over 2 weeks for one. I called mt vernon We ❤Pets and was VERY happy to find they have several at their store! I spoke with an extremely helpful gentleman, he's the manager of the animal department. Well i told him im on my way with an hour drive, we got stuck in a storm so wouldn't make it till closing. He WAITED for us and seemed legitimately happy to help us quickly pick out TWO degu's because they discount the animals that NEED to have a buddy to thrive! All 3 gentlemen were extremely helpful even though I know they wanted to be done for the day. We REALLY APPRECIATE YOU GUYS and so will Remi when his new friends Smith and Wes can all play together! I think we will start making the trip to go to this location from now on! It was so worth the 2 hr round trip drive!!!!
