Tanpopo Ramen and Sake

Food and service was great. A bit salty, but I think that's how it's suppose to be. Lots of good flavors. My only complaint is that the bathroom sink is in disrepair. Instead of a faucet handle, a patron is directed (signage) to push an obtrusive nail to work the sink...

Best Ramen I had! Nothing like your typical Ramen soup you buy at grocery store. I got the seafood Ramen and broth was so good! The shrimp were huge and it had Japanese scallops, which are very different than regular scallops, they looked like clams. Overall a very yummy soup! Next time I am trying the pool ramen!

Smells a tad weird walking in but food and service 10/10! I got the beef stew and made it spicy! Very good portion So yummy and definitely coming back we also got the Hana Awaka Sake! One bottle is enough for 2

So good!! Fresh, great quality and delicious ramen. Pork belly buns are fantastic. Shrimp dumplings as well. I always go for the chicken broth but want to try others. I asked for a sample of the curry broth to see if it was too hot for me and they were nice enough to bring out a sample. It was too spicy for me but it was so flavorful, I would really recommend it.

Service was great, Sapporo beer on tap, the broth and perfectly cooked noodles are something special. Bring an appetite bc the meal will fill you up.

They make the BEST tonkotsu (pork broth) ramen in the area!! I'm from Japan where it originated so I know what l'm talking about. The tonkotsu soup has the perfect flavor and depth, the ramen comes with generous portion of roasted pork. When I had their ramen it just wowed me. This is the tonkotsu ramen l used to eat in my hometown! I need 10 stars to review the restaurant. If you want to eat real authentic ramen you should go to this restaurant.

If you like Ramen, this is a MUST! Especially the shrimp curry! Everything is made fresh and is simply delicious. Inside is very quaint and everyone is so friendly. Pick it up or dine in... either way you have a good bowl of delicious Ramen for your meal..
Ask for the extra spice paste on the side... you won't regret it !

Went here for a later dinner. The food was amazing. The ramen was full of flavor. From the broth to the pork everything worked well together. I got the spicy ramen and the spice level wasn't overpowering and added a lot of flavor to the dish. The appraisers were very fresh and came out hot. The staff was very friendly

This is THE BEST Ramen. The curry broath... its spicy but not overwhelming. Definitely makes you sweat just a tad. Its FANTASTIC if you have a little sinus cold and need to clear the congestion. Also decently healthy as well. Great ratio of broath to ingredients. Had some nice sake with it. I want to come back on a cold winter day. 5 stars easily.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, my 1st visit to a ramen restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

Great food, Super casual, great staff. The crab rangoons are phenomenal and the spicy ramen is for sure a staple.

Top quality food and service. My five year old is a picky eater and he cleaned his plate. The spicy pork buns are my favorite.

I took my school going kid for dinner. He ordered vegetable ramen and fried crab rangoon.
He really enjoyed the food.

Got the spicy tonk. 20/10. Pork melted in my mouth. Prices for food are reasonable.

I have visited this shop before, this time I tried something new. I got the Rice Noodles instead of the regular noodles. This is a game changer. 100% recommend the tanpopo spicy with rice noodles Add a boiled egg

Our waitress had an amazing outfit on. She was excellent! Food was prefect from the crab Rangoon’s, sticky buns and Kani salad.YUM. Highly recommend

I ordered the Chicken Teppanyaki lunch special and it was delicious! The portions were huge so I'll get to enjoy the leftovers for dinner. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to eat there again.

The ramen is soo good. Had the red curry Ramen, I am a fan of spicey food so wanted something with at least some heat. Great flavors, a hint of heat. Recommend the steamed buns for an app. Nice atmosphere, dark and cozy.

I loved this place. The helpful staff is exceptionally helpful and courteous. The food was well worth the price. Delicious and large portions. Everything I would hope for in an authentic Japanese style restaurant, and more. I would recommend to anyone in Schenectady that wants a cozy, friendly, and intimate dining experience! Do yourself a favor and try it!
