Sandyes Cafe and Cakes

Exceptional customer service when ordering custom cakes. I called after hours and was delighted that not only was the phone answered, I was able to get my order placed. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Sandye's catered my large party, a huge order with 2 trays each of Chicken Marsala, Ziti Marinara, roasted potatoes, sausage and peppers, and Mac n cheese, plus a sandwich platter, balsamic spring salad, 2 gigantic veggie platters and 2 gigantic fruit platters. Everything was ready on time, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. This was my first experience with Sandye's and I was impressed with the service and food, and would definitely recommend and will use again. Thank you to the crew at Sandye's for starting to work at 5:30 am to fulfill this order. You did a great job! I wish I took more pictures of the food before it was eaten but everyone was too hungry!

Just stopped in, I've lived within walking distance for years but found a time that worked today and decided to give it a shot. I got the Southwestern Chicken Wrap and some cupcakes.

That wrap was enough for by itself for a meal and I eat a lot.

Customer service was great and definitely will be back.

One piece of advice for the owners is make your hours a little more manageable if you'd like it to be a dining spot as well as a cake place. I found the hours different on the menu compared to the door and have a hard time knowing your general hours of operation within time to eat.

Frankly you have great pricing for a lunch/light dinner spot in an area that doesn't have as many options!

The fire cake was amazing my wife purchased me for Valentine’s Day 2024 Sandye is Amazing the best in the 518 she is very creative and friendly, she has cake classes you can attend and learn how to bake yourself she doesn’t keep it away from the community she is apart of the community and I support her business 100% always satisfied.

The cakes here are beautiful and delicious. I have ordered 5 cakes from them over the past two years and I am always amazed at the talent not to mention the customer service! They are also very well priced for such artistry, especially with the amou t that supplies cost these days. I will go back to them time and time again for my bakery needs!

We had to order a cake last minute because of a different organization not making the cake we requested and the timeliness was extremely short notice but Sandyes Cafe went above and beyond to provide my son with an amazing cake and exactly what he was wishing for!

Sandye even though I am a pastry chef myself and I can bake these phenomenal cakes that you do I enjoy doing business with you because I just don't have the time In my day to do it so I bring my business to you because everytime I order a cake from you or show you a pic you always bring it to the next level and I recommend anyone to have a cake made by Sandye you will never want to go back to Villa Italia or all these other bakeries her work is incredible and you won't be disappointed. Cupcakes are amazing as well

Our cakes were beyond expectations! We talked through all of our options and flavors and decided on yellow with chocolate mouse and an almond cake with raspberry filling. Both were amazing!

Sandye was great to work with. I asked for a happy meal themed cake and not only was it the cutest thing ever, but it tasted great! The cake was moist, and she managed to create a peanut butter cake, with chocolate chunk filling that was not too dense. I don't usually enjoy fondant, but hers had a great texture and taste. I will absolutely order more cakes from here in the future.

I haven't had any of her cakes, but I intend to! I've only ever ordered from the cafe and have been happy every time. The food is simple, good; simply good! This is a place you feel good ordering from.

I had ordered a specialty cake (Alice in Wonderland) after reading the great reviews. Not only was the cake absolutely gorgeous, it was SO delicious! All of the other reviews were spot on. They were a pleasure to deal with. Always responsive. If you're looking for a specialty cake, I would recommend Sandye's Cafe without hesitation!

The cake I ordered came out phenomenal! The design was perfect, the frosting very tasty and the cake moist. I also ordered lunch there and the food was delicious! I highly recommend going for lunch and ordering cakes for all your events!

Her cakes are absolutely beautiful! I needed a custom cake last min and she made it for me with less then 24 hours. Her prices are alot lower then other bakeries but reasonable. She never makes the same cake twice which shows her creativity. Not only was the cake beautiful( gold drip and chocolate strawberries) but it also taste REALLY REALLY GOOD!!!! Very moist with a generous amount of frosting and filling. This lady can make any and every cake you can imagine. I highly recommend her and I'm so thankful she was able to pull of a beautiful cake last minute.

I love the staff!! I feel like family every time I walk through the door!! My favorite is the breakfast wraps with a coffee... portions are perfect. If you're a loyal customer Sandye loves to thank her people who always come back and coffee rewards! !

Food was great. Personality of the Cafe owner was even better. As a NYC transplant I was looking for a good breakfast sandwich. The panini idea interested me. The atmosphere is high energy due to its proximity to a high school and I like that vibe. I will definitely become a regular.

I ordered a specialty cake for my birthday. And it was absolutely amazing. Moist and delicious. Decorated beautifully. Made fresh, not frozen. My family and I truly enjoyed it. Wonderful staff.
