Stumpy's Pizzeria

Never knew this place existed until a few months ago when a client brought it to my office and treated me to lunch. It’s without question excellent pizza, perfect NY style. Only disappointment I have is every time I think to order from here and take the 20 minute drive to pickup I remember they are closed on Sundays. Being a weekend day it’d be nice to see them open as those are the days I typically will do a takeout meal especially during football season. I can’t speak much on the customer service as I haven’t had a chance to eat here after that first time but overall it’s still a 5/5 from me based on the food alone.

Excellent pizza!! We each got 2 huge (6 cut) slices and a drink for their lunch special. Awesome price, nice atmosphere and friendly service💕

Wow!! We've heard nothing but great things, but we gave it our first try tonight. Worth the drive really, huge portions, well cared for ingredients, and friendly service! We ordered the eggplant parmesan (pictured), chicken riggies, and garlic knots. Everything was delicious! The garlic knots are swimming in a bath of garlic butter 🤤 We will be back!

Great variety of slices to grab and go. I like the rustic wood atmosphere.

We absolutely loved our experience having dinner here on a Saturday night. Customer service was attentive. The food was served hot and obviously prepared with care and attention to detail. Chicken tenders were some of the best we have had; homemade, moist inside, and crunchy outside. Pizza slices were just the way we like; thin crust, the right amount of cheese, and not too much grease or sauce. Eggplant parmigian was large enough for leftovers for a couple of days. Homemade sauce was delicious and the cheese was melted so it browned. I highly recommend stopping by to try this place for yourself! There is seating available in a comfy, Adirondack themed dining area as well.

I have been going to Stumpy’s most days, every week, for months on end! They are by far one of the best pizza shops around, hands down!!! Most likely the whole capital area…. They take a lot of pride in their quality of food, that they sell to their customers!!! They treat their customers awesome, and are always friendly! A true great mom and pop small town pizza shop with great consistency!

Been coming here for months for lunch. They have a great deal for 2 slices and a drink under 7 $. Big slices too.. I recommend this spot if you are craving pizza.

Excellent choice for lunch or dinner. All sorts of good food and they will deliver to Slickfin Brewing right next door.

They make a good pizza, but the Fried Raviolis and Chicken Riggies are really what set them apart for me. Pairs perfectly with a beer at Slickfin Brewing (just a few buildings over).

sadly i’ve not had a chance to try the pizza! next time. but have experienced the catering and exceptional italian dinners. Stumpys went out of their way for us - customer service is as special as their food. Chix parm and penne ala vodka is to die for. great knots too. making the trip from VT is WORTH IT!

Best pizza around. Love their ever changing and creative specials. Tenders are homemade and off the charts as well. I hit this place up at least 2-3 times a month.

Found this place while visiting Slick Fin brewing and they became my new pizza place to go to. They have some real standout great foods such as the lasagna, chicken riggies, and their pizza itself. Chicken riggies are hard to get this far east in NY, so it's great to not only find them, but to find ones with such good flavor.
The service is good, but the hours of operation seem to have moved a bit due to COVID changes, so keep an eye on the schedule. The website could do with some better updating, and the menu sometimes is inaccurate, so your best bet is to call to confirm prices and availability.
I can't speak too much to the atmosphere, as it seems great, but I haven't spent much time in there. So far, they are the best pizza in the SGF/ ft edward Moreau area that we have found.

I literally called 30 minutes before closing, and they still took in my order! The Hawaiian pizza was delicious!!

Fried raviolis are great. Everytime we get pizza it is great, tried a new one the stumpy, I am firm believer chicken doesn't belong on pizza but my daughter convinced me to give it a try. Well let's just say it was fantastic! We'll be getting it again! I have tried their calzone and numerous entrees, they are very good!

Amazing wings and they had pickle pizza slices when I walked it... i was so excited! More people need to make pickle pizza ... and it was done right and DELICIOUS. I will go back!

I used to only go to a different local pizza chain - until they were closed one Monday and we tried Stumpys. I haven’t been to the other place since. The quality is excellent, they’re fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. From wings to pizza to sides - we haven’t been disappointed or received an error in any order yet. THANK YOU GUYS! 10/10
