Sometimes it's the small details that really reveal the character of a family business like this.

I've brought a bunch of nuisance, un-profitable repairs to Tom and Kim over the past few years since moving up from the city. Normally I would expect visible irritation at being asked to fix things that aren't worthwhile for the business, but not only were they gracious and accommodating, they were in the most genuine way.

A few days ago I brought two watches for repair. One of them Seiko not a year earlier fixed and charged me $160. They refused to honor their OWN repair a year later, so I brought it to Tom.

I was floored when I picked up the two watches. He told me the total was $10.00.

It's not so much about the money (which of course, is amazing), it's the kindness, promptness, and consideration they gave me, despite my never having purchased say, an engagement ring.

I really like them both, and love their business. A lot of businesses could take a course from these business owners.

An absolute pleasure to do business with! I had an heirloom diamond solitaire ring that I wanted to update and Mr. Kavanaugh made the process extremely easy. He was able to get the exact setting I was looking for very quickly and set the old ring with a gemstone for me at the same time. Even with the extra ring I came in under my budget, both rings were completed very quickly and the work was high quality. I sincerely cannot say enough about this business, my “go-to” jeweler from now on!

I can't say enough about this place. My bracelet broke last minute on a Saturday and after being given the run around at another local jeweler and then calling around, I was finally referred to Kavanaugh's Jewelers. I called and spoke to Denise who kindly informed me that a repair on a busy Saturday would be next to impossible, but she talked to Tom then told me to bring it in and they would at least take a look at it. I did. Tom told me to leave it and he would see what he could do. An hour before closing, I was picking it up repaired perfectly and cleaned. The bill was more than fair and the work absolutely flawless. Don't waste your time running around to other spots. Customer service is everything and these guys deliver big. This place is clean, the staff is kind and courteous, the work is great and the prices very, very reasonable. Thanks you for bending over backwards to help me and save me at the last minute. I'll see you with more of my jewelry business and will be more than comfortable and happy sending people your way. ~ Tommy

Well let me all tell you that you will not find a better jewelry store than Kavanaugh’s. Tom is top notch as a jeweler. Kim his wife is wonderful and very helpful. I moved to Florida but still do business with them. Highly recommended!!

Tommy and Kim are very kind and always generous with their time. They patiently answer any questions you may have and perform repair work immediately. Their style of personal attention is what makes their store special.

I've passed this place countless times to and from work never once thought about stopping. Last year I was doing some Christmas shopping and decided to go in a take a peek. I found a gorgeous watch for my brother that almost is a complete replica of my grandfathers watch whom passed away March 2019. I purchased and had it engraved with my brothers initials. Once he got the watch he said this looks like grandpa's watch and I almost broke into tears because that's exactly what I wanted him to realize.... when you have a small family the little things matter. I love this place. They made my Christmas 2019. ❤
