Cobblescote on the Lake

A family vacation while my son was playing at Dreamspark. Perfect place for the team picnic, spacious and delicious buffet. There are plenty of water crafts to enjoy the fresh water lake. Staff is so friendly and kind. Another addition, while we experienced many rain delays and an electrical outage for most of the day at the ball park, Cobblescote has a generator, so the boys came back to the porch and had lunch until Dreams Park was up and running ♡ Just a wonderful place for all to stay!

Weekend getaway with the family for my birthday. Beautiful views. We were placed in the Deck Suite, which has two beds and small kitchen, and bathroom. Stocked with lots of board games. Breakfast was a breakfast sandwich for which they were able to accommodate my son's dairy and egg allergy. Water smelled a bit sulfuric but enjoyed my stay nonetheless. Would definitely return in the summer to enjoy the free kayaks.

What a warm, friendly and family run place. We felt most welcome and had every need (mostly questions about the area and B&B) addressed. Nice rooms, beautiful setting and views, great breakfast served every morning. Our days were packed with activities, we would recommend taking advantage of their free kayaks and canoes. Cobblescote has their own water access area with chairs to enjoy the view. Only 5 minutes from Cooperstown, but you feel a hundred miles away.

Charming, clean and homey!! Plus, the best homemade breakfast you will ever have. The ladies who run it are so kind. They make a different breakfast each morning with local food. the wheat-cracked bread was delicious. My husband and I stayed in one of the private cabins and it was bigger than I expected with a gorgeous panoramic view of the lake, full fridge, microwave. So charming and unique way for my husband and I to relax between our son’s baseball games at Dreamspark. Only about 15-20 minutes to the park, with a beautiful drive along the lake.

Absolutely amazing experience! This was our first time at Cooperstown. Our son played at Dreams park and Cobblescote is only 15min away from the park. We felt right at home, very rare to find a place to be so welcoming, delicious homemade breakfast every morning and many activities to do! Thank you Genevieve for everything! What a fabulous property! My husband and I came into town for a wedding and feel so lucky to have stayed here. The grounds have breath taking views!

We stayed in a cabin and it was beautiful. It was very well decorated & clean.

Our breakfast was delicious and we loved sitting in their dining room looking over the water.

We were here in the fall but imagine anytime of year here to be fabulous.

Absolutely loved the place, the breakfasts are delish, free canoes, paddles and lifejackets. They have air hockey, and Foosball machines. I sat there facing the lake and enjoyed my wine. Peace and tranquility

Cobblescote on the Lake is a wonderful, clean, quaint, quiet bed and breakfast. Everything was wonderful for our family of 5.
Genevieve and her staff were so kind and friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and what a beautiful overlook of the lake. Our kids had fun with the canoe, kayaks and games around the patio. We highly recommend this place. Close to Cooperstown. Thank you for everything. Such a calm, natural environment. The quaint Adirondack decor is endearing. So much good old family fun right on the resort! Lake Otsego is mesmerizingly beautiful. And just wait til you discover Guenevere’s tasty breakfast. It has become our go to getaway!

I have nothing bad to say about this place. It has a beautiful view, private point with kayaks, free yummy homemade breakfast, rooms are clean, and Genevieve was wonderful. We ended every night with a fire. Had a wonderful time!! We will definitely be back.

I had an amazing time and Genevieve was an amazing hostess. The cabin was super cute and quaint. I already want to go back! The lake is right there with kayaks available to you. I will recommend to this experience everyone!

It was amazing to me that in this day there are still business that go the extra mile. This place is family friendly. Great staff that is all family. They go above and beyond to make there guest feel special. From the time you make a reservation to the greeting when you arrive. To the breakfast they make to order for you. I highly recommend this place

What can I say? Genevieve, Mary, Cheryl and Pete essentially make you a part of their family. I will never not recommend Cobblescote and will never forget the experience. My family loved everything.

Amazing location and outstanding hospitality.. We stayed a week while my son played at Dreams Park. It was very convenient to drive there and downtown.. Plenty of things to do on property for adults and kids. I look forward to coming back!

I would highly recommend Cobblescote. My cabln was large, clean and totally relaxing. The owner, Peter, was kind, funny, and made my stay a one of a kind experience. Anyone lucky enough to stay at Cobblescotte will have wonderful memories to take home with them.

A true gem, awesome views, secluded spot, wonderful hosts, could not have had a better stay! And a great breakfast, would definitely return!

I love the place it was so beautiful sitting on the lake so peaceful the workers were the most cold ears people I never thought I'd have service like that I love the place I would suggest anybody go there it was so kid-friendly I thought my kids were right at home I never thought I'd find a place where I felt my kids were safe as that place I would suggest anybody go there

We had a great visit - kayaked on the lake, played air hockey and foosball, enjoyed a nice campfire and loved the rooms.

Beautiful location, comfortable and well-appointed rooms, daily breakfast with fresh fruit and accommodating staff. Looking forward to returning.
