Richfield Town Clerk

I went to the town clerk’s office to get a fishing license and saw Maggie Young. She was just finishing with someone else and soon it was my turn. She said “what do you need” I said a fishing license. She sighed and said she was “in the middle of something and her computer was off and it takes awhile to start up.” I said ok. That was obviously unacceptable and she asked “can you come back”. I asked when and she didn’t want to give me a time. When I still stood there in disbelief she asked “do you need it today?” I said yes mine is expired. Then she asked in a very snotty tone “are you really going fishing today?” I said yes and told her where. That was still not good enough and she left me standing there in silence. I stood there for a couple minutes and then left frustrated because she didn’t want to do her job, mind you I’m part of the group of people paying her salary. I think it’s time for her to get a new job. I’m leaving this review and will be figuring out who I can place a formal complaint with. Bottom line is don’t go there because she won’t do her job!!! Thanks a bunch

Recently called to speak with “Maggie” the town clerk. She was the rudest person I have ever spoken to on the phone. Our phone call was less than 1 minuet. She told me the courts offices phone was broken and she COULDNT help me buh bye as she hung up the phone. I called back to simply get the time of the court and she didn’t answer so I left a message. As leaving the message she picked it up and shut it off. By far unprofessional and she should be ashamed. Her job is it help people, clearly she needs to go back to school with her valley girl accent and get an education.
