Lovely trails that are well maintained and marked. You can connect them to make a long walk, or you can do a simple loop for a short outing. Loved the view from the gazebo off the trail called a trail for all. Also saw several great dogs!

This place is a little piece of heaven, not only are the trails gorgeous, but easy for beginners and for anyone who wants some peace and quiet. Dusk was perfect timing to visit. If you want to have a picnic or just have a conversation this is what you're looking for in an afternoon hike.

We had never been here despite living in this area forever. We took a picnic lunch and the kids(4 and 8.) The blue trail is a nice easy walk, flat with a well maintained gravel walkway. It looks like the green trail is a bit more challenging but we didn't check that out. Beautiful fields of wildflowers teem with monarch butterflies and giant dragonflies. The mountains lurk blue in the distance. Lovely wooden benches dot the trail and one sits near a nice overlook. There's a beautiful gazebo and a picnic shelter perfect for lunching.

Beautiful place for a safe trek. If you want a bit of nature and are inexperienced this is a great place to start. Trails are marked and easy to navigate and not long at all. The view is great and the scenery much needed in these times. Go for a walk and let your soul have it's much needed rest.

Beautiful land conservation. Such a great place to go for a casual walk / low impact hike. We went on a rainy day, unprepared for the drizzle but still loved the experience. We only saw one other person and it was a really relaxing place. I love all of the nature and the educational boards mentioning local fauna and flora. The gazebo is situated near a very beautiful overlook to the water. Great place for exercise & if you have dogs, be sure they are leashed at all times for their own safety but also so they don't disturb the wildlife. Love this place, we go here frequently.

Very peaceful and great place to take pictures. Much larger area than I previously thought. Several different trails. Some leading to overlook areas or picnic areas. There's benches in several areas as well.
Lots of people there but because the area is so large we didn't run into a ton of people and it was always possible to socially distance. Dogs are allowed on leashes, I just wish more people would pick up after their dogs or at least not leave their poop bags on the ground. It was not pleasant to see a bunch of poop bags piled up at the entrance to the trails. Just shows the lack of respect for others and the environment, in my opinion.
There are various species of birds. I was able to spot a Red Bellied Woodpecker, and identified a couple other birds. Lots of other scenes and things that would make good photographs. If you decide to go in the Spring, be sure to wear some sort of waterproof boot as there are some places that are very muddy. I made the mistake of wearing just sneakers and my feet were full of mud and soaked. Summertime is different when things are dried out.
This is one of my favorite places to go in this area.

Beautiful park. I took the blue trail and it leads to a lookout bench and gazebo. You are still fairly far from the wetlands. About 1 mile out and back. Gorgeous meadows on the way with many wildflowers, dragonflies, birds and butterflies. I saw many goldfinch and eastern bluebirds. If I would have paid more attention to the map when I came in, I would have taken the yellow trail which looks like it leads closer to the marshland. I wonderful place for a run or stroll.

Beautiful park. Lots to explore, a real variety of trails and great scenery. After two visits, I haven't come anywhere near exploring all of it.

Loved this place. We did a hike through some snow and ice. Lot's of hidden views down onto the Hudson. Took a pic of the trail map (take your own in case you don't have internet) and was helpful in this case, as some things are named differently in the field vs here. Speaking of fields, some very big expansive ones, very beautiful.

There's a lot to explore for a small park. Well, maybe larger for some.

Without fail one of the best locations in the Hudson Valley to see the River and Catskill Mountains. I love this place!

A really beautiful and peaceful place to walk, enjoy nature and get some good views of the Hudson. We had a really hard time finding the parking lot/entrance. If you are following GPS closely and coming from the town of Hudson, it will instruct you to turn left into a private driveway about 100 yards south of the correct entrance. There are a few different trails. The blue one is mostly a narrow, packed gravel path which we took since it was very wet. The yellow trails are all natural terrain. The parking lot can hold about 15 cars and I'm sure on really nice days in the warm months it gets full. We probably saw about 10 people the entire time we were there on Monday morning.

It's an easy walk with a few good sitting areas along the way.
