Leatherstocking Golf Course

One of the most beautiful courses in Upstate NY! The staff was wonderful and helpful and the greens were in excellent condition! The views of Otsego (Glimmerglass) lake are also breathtaking!

Beautiful setting, amazing weather for late Oct., great course, interesting and friendly playing partners with local course knowledge. Service was excellent, rental clubs in good condition. Greens were punched but no one cared. The rest of the course was in great condition. Would recommend if youre going to be near Cooperstown and want to have a quality ⛳ experience.

Beautiful course. One of the most scenic I have ever played. You can see Otsego Lake from most holes. The course is pricey but I thought it was worth it. Course conditions were good. Greens were firm and have some slope in them. It’s an older course. It’s not very long and the holes are packed in together. Most of the greens are small and are well guarded with bunkers. One negative was the lack of a beverage cart and we were playing on a Saturday. The course never returns to the clubhouse after the 4th hole.

I had an amazing day I am looking for some golf courses to buy and it would be great to buy this golf course and hotel but I don’t think it is for sale

Great course. A real challenge on a perfectly manicured layout. Interesting hole abound. Everyone should play here at least once. The 18th hole alone is worth the price.

Beautiful course and well maintained. There were a few "goofy" holes on the course but that made it interesting. Played late June 2018 and the conditions were fantastic. Would recommend playing this course if you are in Cooperstown and have a few hours to spare in between games!

A wonderful and beautiful place to play 18 holes

Beautiful golf course, very well manicured. Challenging course, not long, but many pitfalls. If you want lunch, order at hole 5, because there's nothing at the turn. There is a bathroom after the 10th hole. A top public course in New York State. Last couple holes are iconic.

Beautiful golf course. The pro shop staff was extremely nice and accommodating. I will 100% golf here again just because how well kept it is and how great the staff treated us. 5 star golf course right here if your looking to have a great time with friends or family.

Played golf for the first time at Leatherstocking and I was impressed. The 18th finishing hole that runs along the lake is spectacular. The course will challenge you as missing greens will place a lot of pressure to save par as bogey or worse is likely if your short game isn't sharp.

Practice green is great for putting and chipping but allow extra time to hit some balls before your tee time as you have to drive to the practice range.

Overall, as far as a NY golf resort destination is concerned I find Leatherstocking to be a great pick along with the Sagamore in Lake George in Upstate NY. Looking forward to a return visit.

I've been playing this great game over 30 years played a lot of courses..leather stocking is absolutely the most beautiful,great great layout..staff couldn't be nicer..and if you're lucky enough you'll see Ashley...definitely going back..4 1/2 hr ride is well worth it for me.... Peter A. Laino

Hate how its very hard. First time your a fish out of water, you don't even know where the holes go. But my its the best course I've ever played. Beautiful scenery and conviency from Otesaga hotel where the 18 hole ends.

Best course in Otsego County. Well worth every penny. Challenging and beautiful, a golfer's dream.

Spectacular. Play it once and the second time you're hooked. The course is challenging, very well maintained and the staff is over accommodating. The 18th is my favorite.
