Tipsy Toppings

Had an issue with my order and they fixed the problem real quick.

Tipsy Toppings is a pizza joint that also offers some other food. Pizza is good, crispy crust without being dry. Not too much and not too little sauce or cheese. Isn't greasy. Basically NY style pizza without being greasy or floppy.

Servicable food, good late night hours, conveniently located next to Dillengers bar making it a highly popular stop for bar goers. Welcoming and informed employees, best shop in the downtown area, no doubt.

Ordered garlic butter wings from there last night WORSE wings ive ever had! Way over cooked each wing was like biting into a rock

I ordered a pizza on the night of the storm and yea I understand that it was bad weather but instead of agreeing to take my order and make me pay for what they served me, they should’ve just declined. I ordered a pizza and chicken wing. When the door dash driver came here he said oh she accidentally made pepperoni pizza but if you want a cheese pizza she will remake it but she is wanting to close because of the weather. I let the door dash driver know that it was perfectly fine. Little did I know was that not only was it not a cheese pizza but it wasn’t even a fresh pizza. It actually looked like she sold me a pizza that had been made for slices and she just sold it to me. It was cold and clearly an old pizza. This is my first and last experience with this restaurant

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. We ordered through grubhub, and delivery was fine.. but the food was terrible. The kids got wings...3 different flavors.... we couldn't tell them apart. None of them had sauce on them, and they all came with blue cheese, even though 2 had ordered ranch. We had to make our own sauce for them. The sandwiches, were almost all bread. 1 piece of lettuce, looked like 1 slice of tomato cut into thirds, and the tenders were overcooked and dry, and cold! We got 4 pieces of cheesecake, they were old, spoiled, and the consistency of wax. I will never order from here again. I will never let my friends order from here. Ever. Even if it's free. Terrible.

I hate to leave a bad review, but I have to say Tipsy Toppings did not meet expectations. I ordered a chicken gyro, and the chicken was absolutely burnt to a crisp, it was hard, flakey, and like wood chips, not even exaggerating. The gyro was also missing onions (which it is supposed to come with).

The garlic knots that we ordered tasted dust as well.

As I said before, I leave this review with a heavy heart, but I do believe that customers considering buying here be aware of the risks, and that potentially they will be getting a meal that is absolutely shameful.

I have worked in restaurant for all of my life, and I know things aren't always perfect, but the meal I received tonight was a real sorry case.

So, in conclusion; really beware, the food is pretty low quality, but then again, I am just one case. But if you browse other reviews for this restaurant many people fall into the same faction as I. Take of this what you will, I am just one man, but as a consumer, as an American, as a human being, this is my declaration regarding the Tipsy Toppings culinary experience.

We ordered through Grub Hub. First time trying this place. I have family visiting from the U.K., and wanted to treat them to NY pizza and wings...horrible experience. I can't believe a restaurant would let food like this go out the door! The wings were so overcooked, there was, literally, no meat on them and you could barely bite into them!!
I will never order from here again. So embarrassing in front of my family.

I ordered two shish kebab meals through DoorDash (one chicken and one beef) the chicken only had half of one stick and the beef had two full sticks. Also, there was barely any white sauce on the chicken and the beef was fine. The restaurant did not call to tell us they ran out of chicken and we still got charged the full price. To top it off the food took over an hour when DoorDash only said 20 mins. Called to speak with someone at the restaurant and they said contact DoorDash for a refund. I asked the worker why didn’t you call me to tell me they ran out of chicken. She acted like it wasn’t her problem and said we were super busy. Calling DoorDash tomorrow for a full refund, I will not be ordering from there or delivery again.

Ordered a pizza with pepperonis and bacon. I ended up getting a pizza with ham... I called to get it fixed and I was told that they call the ham there bacon. Looking on the menu there’s options for bacon and ham so doesn’t really make any sense to me that bacon would be ham? I also ordered 2 beef empanadas and was given 2 chicken empanadas. We wanted to support local business but were not happy with the turn out..

If I could give this place a negative star I would. I eat here and was sick for 3 days after. The food is distribingly nasty and the owner clams to have over 30 years of experienc. If you value not being sick DO NOT EAT HERE If you want good food and friendly staff go to Pizza Plus aka oakdale pizza down town

They offer a full menu. But theyre only willing to sell 5 hr old pizza slices at $3 a piece

Chicken shish kabob was completely raw in the middle, was offered money back and a free slice but still disturbing. Will not be returning
