Nice little walk, even after dark on a rainy evening. I'm sure it has a different feel during daylight, so I'll have to visit again. It was safe enough for a big guy, but I'm not sure I'd try it at night if I were much smaller or female.

Parking was across the Washington bridge along the street.

For a downtown city park, this one is fairly decent. Plenty of paved sidewalks and vista points along the trail. It is quiet and peaceful, especially in the morning, and there are plenty of areas to get some shade when it's super hot and sunny. Highly recommend.

No better place to see the confluence of the Chenango and Susquehanna with a paved trail next to the river.

I love this place for sentimental reasons. Nothing fancy but a nice place to sit & relax. You're able to go down by the water & see the river. Also the River Walk starts/ends here depending on which direction you're facing.

It's a good time of year at the park to see bees and butterflies around the flowers and to find serenity between the city's 2 rivers.

I like the veiw of the landscapes and the naturally chill feelings i get when i go here to sometimes meditate, and or relax and sit down to enjoy the inspiring calmness of the chenango and susquehanna river merging. i feel like that place cools and relaxes some of my potential anxieties as well. I met alot of people in this area that were fishing. There is a decent little walking path, a garbage can, some sidewalk style lamps, and i some got history things. I know ateast a few bands that play music here atleast once a year. They are all very good musicians. I have never found any one hurt or very mad at this location. There is a little walk thru under pass where people and pets and bicyclers and skateboarders can walk under riverside drive, that is in Binghamton New York of the United States of America. Unfortunately there is no playground or jungle gym for children or anyone that enjoys that kind of activity.

The park where 2 rivers meet. It's very beautiful. Binghamton has done a nice job along the river walk and this is one of Binghamtons gems.

Just a peaceful and clean place...however the homeless(those who choose to be, ) are over running the place and garbage is really a problem.

I just love confluences. There’s something about the point at which rivers combine that I find so fascinating. Today was my first time here and while I didn’t stay long (still a bit of that winter chill in the air), I valued my time.

There were two items of particular interest. One was watching all the chunks of ice floating down the Susquehanna, it was just memorizing. Funny that I didn’t see any ice moving down the Chenango River. There must be an explanation.

Second, there was a young couple getting their engagement photos taken. He was dressed in a button down shirt (tucked in) and slacks and she had on a short dress and long boots. The photographer had on a thick winter coat and ski cap. I keep thinking they must be uncomfortable so under-dressed. They must have been doing their best to smile and look happy, but my mind went to the invitees receiving the save-the-date cards and would they be able to see the shiver and chill behind those smiles? Would these photos betray their forced warmth and show the strain of living up to expectations? I asked myself: How much of a metaphor was I witnessing?

A lovely walk with plenty of local views of the Susquehanna and Memorial markers that remind us of the history of our area Confluence Park is a small green strip that also connects to additional walkways along the Susquehanna and connects to the Riverwalk off of Washington Avenue. It's clean some areas are quiet with seating to reflect upon nature and your day I highly recommend just taking a stroll with the family along these paths

This is a cute small park at the confluence of the Susquehanna and Chenango rivers. There no parking precisely at the park. It isn't visible from the road. But it is very nice, and quiet. There are a couple of small gardens. Great place for pictures.
