Absolutely wonderful husband and wife team of owner/operators. They couldn't be more friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Also they have two wonderful dogs in the store with them at all times. Great conversation, and they went out of their way to help me find good prices on gear.

Great people to deal with. Prices are fair. The owners will try hard to find and order what you want if they don't have your items in stock. Five stars.

Terry and Cliff are absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t expect a better experience at this shop. They’re friendly, knowledgeable and will take to go over any questions you may have. They have fair prices are willing to help if you are new to gun ownership. I’d recommend this place to anyone new or experienced. They’re a small business and locally owned. Plus they have the best dog. Their dog says enough about their owners.

This is just the best shop for guns and sports. Terri and Cliff are not only pleasant and knowledgeable but people drop in just to spend time chatting. And then there are the dogs....and I mean DOGS! Billy Jack is a huge 3 year old German Shepherd. He weighs in at 102 lbs. He loves people and people love him back. And just recently Billy Jack was joined by a new friend named Shadow. She is an 8 month old German Shepherd and weighs in at 62 lbs. These are beautiful animals and add immensely to this stores friendly atmosphere. I have included our beloved Brittany in the dog section. You have to come to the store to see Billy Jack and Shadow. So if you like guns and you like dogs and you like friendly owners, Skylands Sport Shop is the best. Great gun and ammo prices but the petting is free.

Great people who make you feel welcome in their store and like you’ve known them forever. Great prices, and a very nice selection. I love supporting local small businesses and I’m glad I found this place. As long as they’re open I will always be a customer.

Terrific experience! Terry was incredibly knowledgeable, patient & helpful. I was fortunate to meet another member of their team, Billy-Jack, aka Billy.
Bring a bag of Beggin' strips with you and you will have a friend for life. I would definitely return in the future if and when the needs arises. Very pleased with the products , prices and interaction.

I've got nothing bad to say about this little shop. The couple (Terri and Cliff) that owns/runs the store seem to be good, down-home people that are fun to talk to. They seem to know their stuff, and offer good insight and recommendations without any pressure for purchase. For guns, their selection is decent, and if they don't have it, they can get it. Fishing and hunting sections are good and well rounded as well.

I have to say that my experience has been positive with both owners. They both try to attend to all clients expediently. They explain the details and help you to select the correct item for you. Now the reality is that you have to be receptive to the information and advise.

Had my glock transferred to them back in October and waiting to pick up a SW M&P 15 now, and actually can't wait to go back. Terri and Cliff are both helpful, knowledgeable, and great people, especially when it comes to new gun owners. If it weren't for the nationwide shortage of firearms and ammo, I would buy all my supplies from them if I could. Their transfer fees are in the middle of the road price wise, but I gladly pay a little more if it helps keep this staple business of Sussex County afloat. We need more businesses like them in New Jersey if you ask me

Terry and Cliff are husband and wife and the owners. They are wonderful people and will bend over backwards to help you. I met them earlier and they're smaller Newton store. Luckily they have blossomed into a beautiful well-kept large store. Do to their professionalism and their constant desire to help me and my sporting needs I'm proud to consider them friends
