Autumn Hill Parking

This reserve next to stone hill church is a large hill full of boulders and other stones. Eazy hiking but the trails wash out after rain and remain boggy for about 3 days. There are many plug and feather rock quarrys in this area, where boulders have been sharply chipped away for construction material. All the boulders are diabase from the triasic period's volcanic movement, now these stones form much of Princeton's architecture. Access to the back of herrontown woods accross the street from the parking lot.

this lot is parking for autumn hill reservation. There is a map of trails. the lot is a small dirt lot. it is easy to pass by accident. there are garbage and recycling buckets in lot

A small gravel parking area that allows access to Autumn Hill as well as Herrontown. Holds about 10 cars. Trail Signage and markers were not that great the last time I was here.
