"Absolutely phenomenal experience at Bear Creek Campgrounds! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The campsite was immaculate, with well-maintained facilities and pristine surroundings. The staff were incredibly helpful, offering suggestions for nearby hiking trails and ensuring our stay was comfortable. The amenities exceeded our expectations, from clean restrooms to convenient fire pits. We enjoyed peaceful nights under the stars and mornings filled with breathtaking views. I started tent camping here with my family 2005. We liked it so much we put a year round camper on a site, four years going

First time to Bear Creek Campgrounds but not the last, FOR SURE. Quiet, secluded, spacious tent sites right on the creek were awesome!! My son and I were up on a trout fishing weekend and are already planning the next!!

Quiet, idyllic, and rustic. I rode my scooter from Pennsylvania and had only a one person backpacking tent. The proprietor and his family seemed like decent folk, I didn't hear any foul language out of them at all which is something I don't see much these days. It was refreshing. He gave me the best price of any campground around and a nice quiet spot by the creek. This was a rustic camping spot with no electric or running water at the site, which was fine. I wish I could post a picture, but if you google Scootinfool you can find my blog where I have posted pics.

Bear Creek Campground is close to great hiking trails and has a beautiful creek running in the back with good rainbow trout fishing available. This was the only campground with availability left on Memorial Day weekend when we were reserving for a tent location. We were assigned a location right next to the creek. We hiked buttermilk falls blue trail to Crater Lake and fished the creek. Overall we enjoyed the campsite and the area.

Had a great time camping with the family. Make sure you call ahead for reservation. We didn't make one but the owner and his brother were so nice and we're able to accommodate us within such a short notice. Camped out in a tent by a river, ate smores and had an overall good camping trip. Only downside was the ticks (bring good bug spray) . A Cool thing was we heard coyotes howl at night.

Awesome place to camp do it every year. Great for trout fishing since the river is right next to your site. Ken the owner is a fair guy. Make sure you check in at the office . Always abide by the rules and you'll be good . Drive below the speed limit and stay off the grass

I grew up basically on this campground from a baby until I was about 12 and they were the best times of my childhood. I'm sure it still is very peaceful and tranquil today as it was when I was growing up.
