Zombie Planet

Zombie Planet has quickly become my favorite comic and game/hobby store in the area. From comic books to miniatures games to dice or paints or terrain they’ve got a lot to offer and all in one place. I would say if you’re looking for back issues trying exactly have a ton but they have a decent amount of mainstream titles.

Discovered this during 2023 Christmas gift hunting. They carried a wide range of games that fit many people on my list. I'll be back!

Great store! Friendly staff, lots of games and amazing selection for Hobbie paints which is mostly why I go. They have a ton of comics upstairs in what feels like a whole other store. They also have just opened up a gaming location to play table top games, card games, board games!

First time there. A ton of games for every type of gamer. Lots of miniatures and a nice paint supply. The gentleman working was very helpful and very interactive. Help us find games, recommend games and also asked about the holidays and shares some stories. Definitely will be back if looking for games.

I was there today to buy Actionfigures for my eight-year-old son. They had a great selection of action figures at reasonable prices and yes you do not have to shop on Amazon or eBay to get what you want. All you have to do is go to Zombie Planet and I’m sure you’re gonna find what you’re looking for. The gentleman who is on the phone happened to be the same gentleman today who helped me on the phone he was very kind and courteous and told me the action figures he had. I came in today he was there again and this time in person he told me exactly where to find what I was looking for and I found them with ease.

So many comics. Two floors. Staff extremely hopeful and knowledgeable.

I'm always happy to support local, and games are no exception. Even if I walk in with a vague idea of what I want- like recently I was looking for a game for a large group of people that wasn't cheesy- the staff will walk around with you making knowledgeable suggestions and pointing out different options.

*Note- Zombie Planet and Fortress of Gaming are in different locations. Fortress of Gaming is where you can play test the different games or join a tournament. It's a great place to meet new people who enjoy the same hobbies as yourself.

The variety of card games they have here is amazing! From MTG to Yu Gi Oh to Pokemon and dungeons and dragons stuff. The only thing they don't have is Vanguard but their card binders and art sleeves make up for it, not to mention the variety of dices and board games too. Definitely a go to place if you're a MTG player like me.

They have an amazing selection of games and comics. Also, the staff is always helpful and knowledgeable.

One of my go to shops for dnd minis and have found some other hidden little gems you don't find other places.

Full service comic book shop that also has Pokemon and Magic cards. The staff is knowledgeable and available. The place is two floors full of all the things that round out a collector's desire. Action figures and related paraphernalia are readily available. I'm not familiar with the Star Wars game being played on large tables nor am I acquainted with the other games available but the figures are spectacular with an attention to detail seldom seen. Selection of board games is available and you can always get a gift card if you aren't sure what to get. Great small business in the 518 to support.

This place is incredible. Despite being busy, the staff still made time to make sure I was finding what I came there for, and even took the time to research something obscure that I wasn't sure was still in print. Most card/game shops can be somewhat abrasive or standoffish, but there was absolutely none of that here. There's a real love of hobbies here.

Also, they have a super impressive selection of card, tabletop, and roleplaying games. Super clean and organized shop with really great D&D decorations. There's even a fancy infographic mat by the card sleeves so you can figure out what size you need. 10/10

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, always helpful when I have questions. For months I had been searching for a game that was out-of-stock at every online store, but Zombie Planet had it in-stock.

I enjoy coming here, I pick up items like toploader sleeves, regular sleeves, bought some single booster packs, bought board games, and have purchased comics. I'm a big fan of Predator and they had a 1:25 variant, I was so proud to get it back at a 9.8! The owner and his staff I think do a great job displaying their products and also placing them in ways they are secured and protected.

The prices for some stuff is a little higher than average, but I won't knock a star for that. Small businesses were hurt pretty good from COVID, I am amazed Zombie still stands.

What I respect about the owner is that he is pretty aware of enthusiasts vs. collector vs. speculators. To me, he loves to see people enjoy their hobbies and adventures in collection. But for people who think they're slick, you gotta give the owner more credit than that.

They were a WOTC employee at one point in time, you don't think he knows you are trying to pull funny business on him? Haha.

Thanks for the wonderful experience every time I go even if I don't purchase something. I appreciate how your store is laid out and love to look at everything when I can.

If you're into games, this store is for you! They had a large select of new magic, Warhammer, etc games. They also sell comics but it feels like those are the secondary part of the store. Upstairs they have a selection of about 20 long boxes of back issues and about two long boxes of cheap bins. They also had a good selection of omnibus titles. If I was looking for games, I'd definitely come back here. If I was shopping for comics, I'd probably check elsewhere in the area first.

I was traveling upstate with my girlfriend and we both live seeing different comic shops around the US.

Zombie was fun to look around and at first we thought it was exclusively a game shop, there were a variety of figures from Star Wars to Warhammer and they had a display case that was packed full with exquisitely painted pieces. In addition they had a huge selection of board games and other chotchkeys.

The comics section was up a flight of stairs that was covered in posters and display cases that were also filed with books. the comics had a pretty up to date new section of books as well as a good collection of back issues.

The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about games and a lot of contemporary comics.

They have a big selection of RPGs, board games, comics, and Games Workshop products. Staff was really nice and fun to chat with!

Cool shop! They really have it all; complete with decades of industry knowledge and a willingness to share it!

By far one of the best comics and game stores we've visited in our travels across the country.
