I recently purchased a Hummer H2 that had a recent stereo/ back up camera installed improperly by another shop causing battery drain and a host of issues. Mike took on the job and straightened out all the problems in a very timey fashion at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend them as the best shop I have ever worked with ! 2nd car I've brought to them , as always they're professional quality speaks for itself , 5% tint on the back half of a Nissan Versa Sedan , really adds some privacy and keeps the cabin cool , they also use Lummar Tint (amazing quality)

Read this to it’s end as this may sound a bit like it’s going someplace else but I’m actually very happy with their work.

I have had multiple jobs done at Exoticustom. They’ve always worked out well. This one job I had done to customize the exterior lighting of my Audi SQ5. I was adding a Cree based front light bar as a driving light. To power this device was going to be a bit tricky as the wiring System of this vehicle is complex. So in attempting to get it to perform precisely how I wanted it, which they accomplished, they accidentally blew out a module that had to do with the hands free mics. I could get and make calls, I just couldn’t be heard.

They did everything they could to fix the issue in house. Even brought in an outside Audi specialist they knew but even he couldn’t get the required schematic to trace down the problem to fix it.

They had me bring it to my Audi dealer who said they located the module in question (under the rear passenger seat) and it would need replacing. $800, which EC ate.

Within the week (I had full use of the vehicle during that time but for one day) I had the car back, fully functional, and the light bar EC had put in working 100% to my specifications.

Even when it goes wrong they’ll stand behind their work and put it right. That’s unusual these days. So five stars.

They did a great job installing a spoiler on my 2021 accord. Price was right as well! Thank you!

Bought a dash cam with the intention to self-install, but decided against it. Mike at Exoticustom looked over our equipment and was able to schedule us within a day or two of seeing him. Installation happened while I waited, and everything was clean with no exposed wires and no damage to the interior of the Jeep. Very reasonable hourly rates, very professional staff. Will absolutely return for any future jobs.

It took me three weeks for an appointment; that shows that busy means excellent service! I took their advice to replace my wife's rear window instead of wasting several hours and a pretty penny with the possibility of not looking good. The old tint is a pain to remove, do it right or suffer removing it.

Mike stands behind his quality work. He goes above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy. Recently had the windows on my 2020 Forester tinted and I couldn't be happier. Mike is a good guy.

As a college graduation present, we decided to give our son a subwoofer/amplifier for his car (it’s all about that bass!) After some research, we wound up going to Exoticustom in Hackettstown where we met Mike, one of the owners. After the installation, which thankfully didn’t take a long amount of time, we had a major problem with feedback. Somehow, the car’s outside noise reduction system was interfering with the subwoofer. Meanwhile, Mike had already ordered and replaced the original one thinking it was defective. Now, we’re on the 2nd unit with the same issue! 🤦🏻‍♀ Mike wouldn’t let up until he got it right for our son. Some time goes by and one day while cleaning his car out, our son was in the back seat and noticed the unit wasn’t functioning at all. Here we go again! We took it back to Mike. I’m sure at this point he was so frustrated, but he stood behind his work and replaced the subwoofer/amplifier with a new one. That’s commitment! That’s customer satisfaction! We appreciate every effort and professionalism Mike put into getting it right. Thank you, for being a man of your word and making sure our son was a happy graduate. A great experience at Exoticustom Inc. in getting the camera replaced in my mustang. Mike was knowledgeable and friendly. They got me in and out quickly and even vacuumed the car for me. My new backup camera is excellent! Thank you, Mike!

I have had a few cars done at exoticustom INC now. Each time when I spoke to either one of the partners the service has been excellent they know what they're doing.
They are very neat and respectful of your vehicle. I have to admit when I brought them a Shelby GT350 I was still just a bit concerned letting the car out of my sight. Even when I take it to the dealer I keep an eye on it while it's being worked on. But knowing I brought it to these guys it was handled in a very professional manner and everything came out great. Even when I asked for a installation a bit out of the ordinary they came up with ingenious and resourceful ways to get the job done. I would say it would be very difficult to go wrong with these guys. They can take an old car and update the electronics so that you feel like you're driving a new car without the new car cost and depreciation. My daughter has a 2004 Dodge Stratus in excellent mechanical condition. She wanted to buy a newer car for all of the modern conveniences. Bluetooth connectivity to her phone and music streaming was important to her. Needless to say they updated the car and it was Pennies on the dollar to getting a newer model with those options. They listen to what you need and want out of your car and come up with engenius strategies to make everything work for you. And even if you have any concerns after the installation they're right on top of it and would make anything right. I haven't had any issues but it's easy to tell these guys stand behind their work. If I could give them six stars I would. Kudos and thumbs up thanks guys!!

Mike did a phenomenal job with my window tint and adding a little bass to my new ride. Very reasonably priced and easy to work with.

Dan did a professional installation of a car star stereo and backup camera that was no more expensive than the big chains. He is very friendly and full of information. If you're in a hurry, you may need to pin down a date, but since Dan and I were both easygoing, it took a while. Go here and not to the big chains.

Stopped in with my 2008 Lexus with an Aux channel that didn't work for 5 years. This is where you plug in to stream from your phone. Mike the owner was considerate and helpful and suggested I purchase a new cord to try vs going to Lexus for a new plug which he would have to install and maybe not even be the problem. I plugged in the cord and presto! It worked. Go to this place.
