Owner was very nice 😊 he stopped and chatted after we purchased bait! Lovely restaurant on other side of Parking lot! We go here to get fresh live bait every time we are going fishing in the area

Great local spot for a quick bite. We love their lifeguard wrap. It’s a summer favorite! Ice cream is also delicious. We love grabbing food and eating on the beach or at their clean tables outside.

Location is perfect. Food is very decent . Views are gorgeous . During the summer Recommend stopping there around 9pm on Thursdays, grab an ice cream and watch fireworks

A staple in my trips to the inlet when living there for 6 years and vacationing there every year before and after. I'm so glad this place has withstood the test of time so other families can enjoy it too.

My family has a lot of history in the area and with Carlson's Corner. As for me, I have just had their strawberry milkshake. The shake was just the kind of milkshake I like, strawberry with no chunks. It has a scenic location, and a great selection of ice cream. Overall, a good experience.

We stopped at this location on Monday morning we have breakfast the food was excellent I would rate it a 10 when you're done eating breakfast in this market across the street onto the beach great views all over wonderful

They no longer serve their classic footlong hot dogs. Their current hot dog is pretty ordinary and expensive, but you sure can't beat the atmosphere. So for that reason I give it five stars lol

Went for ice cream this afternoon with my partner. She had soft serve vanilla with sprinkles and I had a cup of java chip. Both were great (flavors were "spot on," consistencies were perfect)! Also, service was quick and friendly. The best part was that the servers wore masks and gloves. During this pandemic, it was so reassuring to observe staff following CDC guidelines. If you're in Manasquan, don't forget to head to Carlson's for ice cream.

Fantastic customer service!! All of the young adults working here were friendly , pleasant, helpful and polite!! And EVERY ONE OF THEM WAS WEARING A MASK THE ENTIRE TIME!!

On Friday, August 7th a friend and I came down to Manasquan specifically to eat at Riverside Cafe- big mistake. Never ate there before. Cashier- older woman- didn’t have a mask on until we walked inside- then she wore it under her nose. The cook and other kitchen workers didn’t have a mask on at all. When I asked a question- what time they were open until- she gave a rude answer. The whole situation made me uncomfortable so my friend and I left and walked across the street to Carlsons Corner-thank goodness!!!!! That’s a great restaurant!! Glad I spent my money at Carlsons Corner instead of Riverside Cafe!! See above!!
