Really really good food. I highly recommend their chicken flautas and their homemade strawberry lemonade. I’m from Houston, but was sent to this area to work and I struggled to find good Mexican places in the area. I am glad I found this place with authentic Mexican food in Jersey City.

I want to start off by saying that the service was 10/10. The 2 gentlemen that attended us were really nice and very on point.

For food options we tried their chicken flautas, carnitas nachos and al pastor tostadas. In my opinion their most flavorful were the nachos. It had the right amount of crunch, meat & cheese. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

My second favorite was the tostadas. They were delicious and perfectly balanced from the crispy tortilla to the refried bean, meat and cheese with fresh shredded lettuce. Superb!

The flautas were ok. It did taste fresh, but I guess that’s what I get for ordering chicken. It lacked a little flavor.

All in all though, I would definitely recommend. I will say, we dined in. It wasn’t busy at all on a Sunday night, but I did notice a lot of takeout/delivery orders.

A plus is that it is BYOB!

Food was banging. People here really friendly. Not too busy here. Will def come back again and try all the tacos and burritos. Not as fancy as other places in the area but def better food. Coming here for Mexican when I’m in the area. Not going anywhere else for Mexican in the area to be honest lol

Great place, their food was delicious, I had lengua taco, pastor and a burrito regular, I do recommend this place for an authentic Mexican food in jc, give it a chance you won't regret it and also is BYOB place 👍👍

Food was great and the atmosphere was great. Exposed brick behind the bar with great lighting makes this place a great date night place. Food is reasonably priced and delicious, my family and I are certainly coming back.

This is a beautiful Mexican restaurant, very authentic! The staff and owners are amazing! It really feels like home , family vibes and delicious food !

Really great food. That’s all I came for and that exactly what I got. I had the chilaquiles with carne enchilada (spicy pork). Be sure to ask for the eggs extra if that’s what you’re into, as those don’t come standard. You have a choice between red or green sauce. I chose red because I love spicy. It was just that right level for spice lovers. I’m definitely coming back.

Sol Azteca is a great local takeout spot. They have some tables, but the business is almost all delivery or takeout. Portions are good and the food is fresh.

I've been going and ordering from here for years the food is reliably delicious, and when ordered delivered with care.

1. Refried Beans was Very Flavorful. I've NEVER had Flavorful Refried Beans. The Best in Jersey City.
2. The Homemade Green Sauce was so Spicy and Flavorful. Best in Downtown Jersey City.
3. Yellow Rice was Cooked well.
4. Guacamole was good.
5. Tortillas was nicely warm and good.
6. Cajun Chicken Fajitas was good.
7. Mole sauce is the Best in Jersey City.
8. Pico de Gallo is Delicious.
9. Tamarind Juice was good.
10. Refreshing and Tasty Horchata.

Such a big fan of Mexican food and this spot was great! I had taken my parents to Liberty Park in Jersey City and this restaurant is just 10 minutes from the location. Clean and neat environment, staff is friendly and prompt with service. Food is absolute yum! I love shrimp tacos and their Cajun shrimp tacos are the best that I have had so far on the East Coast! They do take out and dine in :) will definitely be going back again when in the city

Great quality food. I love their burrito bowls and burritos!! Their mozzarella sticks and wings are also amazing!! I usually order through Uber eats and I never have a problem with my order. It comes at a reasonable time. This place is the best. 5/5

I live on Grove St and usually go to Taqueria simply for convenience and always find myself feeling disappointed.. I’m from Florida so I know what real tacos are supposed to be like, just saying.. anyway I’ve passed by this place many times and today I decided to try something different (than Taqueria) and their tacos are WAY better.. more flavor, more meat in tacos, and not sloppy and messy with sauce when you open it up when you get home.. 10/10 I don’t always leave reviews but I had to.. give this place a try and thank me later!

Food is great! And the interior is big. They're great for takeout and delivery, but they're great for dining in too. I wish I could see them when it wasn't the pandemic, but can't complain having the place all to ourselves. Had a great time. Everything tasted great, and copious amounts were very satisfying. Thumbs up.

I have have been ordering from this restaurant almost every week since Jan 2021. Excellent choice of tacos, enchiladas, quesadilla and Burritos for vegetarians. Cactus tacos are my favorite. Their food delivery is handled professionally and the driver gives me a call before dropping off my food.

omg this place deserves so much credit.
We passed by many many times but never tried it since it seems dark inside and no outdoor sittings.
We ordered from this place by accident one time and we love their tacos! fresh, good portion - definitely the best in Manhattan/JC downtown area. Highly recommended.
