Soldato Books & Records

Great shop for books and music. I’ve been twice and both times walked out with comics. If you’re a fan of single issues or collected trades/hardcovers they have a great selection and great prices. Tons of books from all genres and some super cool rare stuff. Eclectic selection of records from indie to jazz to hardcore. Part of a cool building that houses a black box theater, movie theater, and other art spaces.

This is a fantastic little store. It is a little hard to find because although the address is on Sylvan the store is actually located on the second floor of the Williams Center. very meticulously put together shop with books, records, CDs and graphic novels including what may be the fullest collection of Steve Ditko books. If you wanna know what it was like to find a great little corner record/bookstore on a side street in Manhattan in the 80s, just climb the stairs here.

Awesome little spot with really good finds of books, records, CDs, and vinyl for all price ranges. Well organized collection and curated so that you don't have to dig through hours of junk to find the gold.

Great store for books AND records. The owner is very nice too. I’ve been three times and found gems every time. Bonus: the coffee shop down the block and the taco place across the street are also worth checking out. Have yourself a great afternoon!

Nothing but good things to say about Soldato. Clean, well organized, charming store. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Awesome and interesting selection. Always has new records and books to look through.

Quite the eclectic selection of vinyl and books! If you’re looking for something well known or if you like to delve in the realm of the niche they will most likely have you covered. Staff is super informative and helpful to boot!
