My experience has always been positive here, especially since Diane has taken over as Postmaster. The girls at the counter are wonderful as well.

Everyone is very helpful at the Hopkinton Post Office and they do their very best to make all the residents happy. I often call them to make sure I'm getting my mail and they are helpful. Thanks!

Always friendly and professional at the front desk. Had 4 passports made there once and equally pleasant.

Our mail lady is very nice, however we often get our neighbors mail or have our neighbors walk our mail over to us that was mistakenly given to them. I did try to mail a Christmas card to a friend who had a mailbox set up and managed by USPS, that got returned twice as undeliverable. However, he confirmed the address was correct both times and gets FedEx and UPS packages just fine.

Our mail lady is wonderful. However the Post Master is often unapproachable.

Posted my initial review of this post office a year ago, and it has progressively gotten worse. Not only are our packages mishandled on a frequent basis, but the post master had stated he would bring certified mail/packages requiring signature to our home. Not only has he not, we are typically not notified that certified mail or anything requiring a signature would arrive until it is being returned.

Today, we received a package that was thrown into the snow. The contents would have been ruined if the sender wasn’t very good about adding internal waterproof packaging. From reading other reviews, I’ve determined they clearly just play by their own rules.

After posting this review, I received a letter from the post master. They are no longer delivering our packages, meaning I need to go into the post office to retrieve my mail. Their excuse is that this will ensure no further "issues" come up. Packages have always been left on our porch without our door ever needing to be opened and no issues ever occurring before. He also stated that they do not know the nature of the dog - which is also false since the postal woman has met our dog on NUMEROUS occasions. We have a mailbox that can easily have packages left at it and porches that do not need any entry into our home for packages to be delivered to, but instead they are just refusing and decided to punish us for their indiscretion. I've reached out to USPS to bring this up the ladder, since this post office is so unreliable.

The driver that drops off our mail is constantly rude. This time, she had a piece of certified mail and when dropping it off, neither of our dogs were crated since they were inside. Of course, they want to try to say hi so my husband was trying to grab the mail and them at the same time. Our larger dog, who is just as sweet as ever, had the door slammed on her nose by Valentina, the driver. The dog was just standing next to my husband in the doorway trying to figure out why a stranger was at the front door and she got hurt, even though my husband had a hand on her and she wasn't able to get any closer to the woman. When my husband called the post office to say something, they were completely rude to him telling him that he needs to do a better job handling the dogs and that if they are viscous, she can react that way. Neither of our dogs are viscous and he had both of them under control and there's no reason to try to hurt a dog like that.
